Prodigiously Amazing Weaponsmith

Chapter 1579: Past and present life (5)

But he couldn’t not do that!

Because he really didn’t want to see, Sect Master Mu whom everyone worshipped falling to that kind of ending!

Moreover now, Miss Huang was no longer around so if there was anyone who could persuade him, it would be Liu Buyan!

Liu Buyan took quick steps and rushed into Mu Chengying’s mountain valley which he went into closed door cultivation in.

At this present moment, it was already midnight and the sky was filled with stars with the moon especially bright, illuminating every corner of the entire valley.

When Liu Buyan charged into the valley, he saw Mu Chengying sitting cross legged on an empty space under the moonlight. From the looks of it, he seemed to be cultivating.

Liu Buyan saw this and was extremely surprised.

He thought that he would see…..

“You… what are you doing?”

Mu Chengying suddenly opened his eyes as a cold smile hung by the corners of his lips, “Master Liu, what a rare visitor! If I don’t remember wrongly, you seem to have said this yourself that you will never step into Blue Profound Sect anymore and you no longer wanted to see me. Such a short span of time… and you’re already regretting it?”

When Liu Buyan heard that, he recovered from his shock.

“You… stop acting! I’ve already heard that you’re getting your man to collect…. That thing! And you’ve already collected everything! I know what you’re trying to do!”

Mu Chengying smiled faintly, “What do I want to do? What do you know? I’m collecting that thing because Li’er loved it before and I’m using it to remember her, why? Can’t I do that? What does it have to do with you?”

He made it sound so easy that for an instance, Liu Buyan almost assumed that he had really made a misjudgement, that Mu Chengying really didn’t have that intention.

But very soon, Liu Buyan saw the evident greenish black colour under his eyes which was caused by the repeated depletion of Profound Energy.

“Do you think I’m an idiot! That ancient record was discovered by the both of us that year! I know what you’re thinking of doing, you’re nuts you’re really nuts! That is merely a subjective idea left behind by the predecessors and even the senior who wrote that ancient record had never done such a thing! That would definitely not succeed!”

“How do you know it’s not possible!” Mu Chengying’s idea was exposed by him so he totally couldn’t be bothered to continue acting, “As long as there’s a hint of hope, I will give it a shot!”

Liu Buyan shook his head in disbelief, “Do you know what you’re saying? Life and death are ruled by fate! The dead cannot be revived! Moreover, Yueli’s soul had been scattered, it’s not an ordinary death! My pain isn’t any lesser than yours but we must learn to accept the truth! Some things, since it has already happened, there would be no way to reverse it forever…..”

“Truth? What truth? How am I supposed to accept it?? I totally cannot accept it!!”

Mu Chengying suddenly shouted out as he broke down, rebutting Liu Buyan’s words. All the pretence of being calm and steady suddenly turned into naught.

Liu Buyan gritted his teeth as he glowered at him angrily, “Cannot accept it? Now then you say you cannot accept it! What were you doing before that? Do you think that by doing this, it would lessen your guilt? Did you think that by doing this, Yueli would feel happy in her grave? You can’t regain anything at all! All you want is to reduce your own guilt!”

Mu Chengying’s thoughts seemed as though the nail had hit on the head as he started to shake violently.

But after a while, he forced himself to calm down, “Up to you on whatever you want to say. No one can stop me on the things I want to do! Haven’t we already severed our friendship? Why have you still not scrammed away?”
