Prodigiously Amazing Weaponsmith

Chapter 1551: Only two paths (5)

“That’s impossible, right? No matter what, to be able to activate the Qilin tablet, those people are all god grade geniuses! In our history, Cloudy Qilin Clan also had geniuses who had innate talents above god grades, don’t tell me that even they…. were unable to pass through the stage successfully? I don’t believe such a thing!”

Sage Wu Ding said, “What’s so strange about that? That year, old Clan Leader joined hands with God Realm’s top ten Armament Master before they were able to refine this piece of Qilin tablet successfully, and even subdued the spiritual beast which had just died in a battle sealing it into that tablet! To you and me who had been cultivating for several ten thousands of years, wanting to kill a matured Qilin also wasn’t an easy matter. Whereas for those geniuses who entered Violet Sun Valley, their ages cannot be over thirty!”

“Try to recall when we were thirty years old, what kind of potential did we had? Don’t talk about killing a Qilin, probably just a breath from the Qilin would result in us incurring a serious injury and throwing up blood! If these god grade geniuses were at least able to deal with the Qilin for a while or even seriously injuring the Qilin, it would already be an extraordinary ability!

Old Man Dong answered, “What you said isn’t wrong. But… But haven’t you said this earlier yourself? This time, the Qilin tablet had not absorbed enough Heaven and Earth Profound Energy and if the genius who had entered wasn’t able to pass through the stage successfully, then death would await him! Now you say that no one had ever passed through this refinement, doesn’t it mean that…. the lower realm’s branch had finally appeared a god grade genius but he’s going to fall right there?”

Sage Wu Ding was worried about this matter and hearing that, his forehead creased even tighter.

“Isn’t that so? The clan hadn’t had such a genius like this in a long time! What’s more that person appeared from the lower realm! Under such scarce resources and still able to have such achievement, his future is limitless and if he really died there, it would be such a waste! But…. but he’s already entered the Qilin tablet so we already have no chance to stop him!”

Old Man Dong said, “Then what should we do? No way, we must report this matter to the Clan Leader! Every god grade genius is the hope for the clan’s future so we cannot allow him to fall like that! Perhaps the Clan Leader has a way!”

“Yes, you’re right! Let’s go now! Let’s hope that the young fellow who had entered the Qilin tablet could last a little while longer, otherwise…. there’s really no one who can save him!”

Sage Wu Ding seemed as though he suddenly attained enlightenment as he patted his thigh hard and stood up from his seat.

The two elderly men got up swiftly and headed towards the Clan Leader’s cave dwelling.

However the two of them had just reached the cave entrance when they were stopped.

“Sage Wu Ding, Sage Dong, please hold on!” A fierce looking fatty blocked the duo’s path as he gave a smile which didn’t reach his eyes.

Sage Wu Ding’s expression sank immediately, “Steward You, what are you trying to do?”

Steward You sneered, “I’m the one who should be asking you what you want to do? Haven’t you heard at all? Clan Leader has entered closed door cultivation in the cave, preparing to break through to the Life Realm! This is the most important matter in the entire clan, even the few Grand Elders don’t dare to come disturb him yet you two just want to rush in like that? Whoever gave you the guts?”

Sage Wu Ding’s expression was extremely ugly.

This Steward You was the Clan Leader’s cave dwelling’s housekeeper, responsible for Clan Leader’s personal matters.

Although his cultivation wasn’t high and his position in the clan wasn’t considered high, but he used the fact that he was reporting to Clan Leader directly to show off a proud and arrogant look.

Usually, other than the clan’s Elders who held the most power, the other people who wanted to meet the Clan Leader had to undergo all kinds of obstacles by Steward You.
