Others Summon, I Forge Beast Armor

”The Dragon World and the Primate World are more dangerous than the Insect World. Amigo, please familiarize and Assimilate yourself with these two worlds so you can know what we’ll encounter in advance,” Luke said. ”Although people in every world call me ’Armorer,’ it doesn’t mean that the Armorer is respected or entertained in every world.”

”Yes, Master,” Amigo replied. ”I will Assimilate myself with the closest systems in each world to understand their level of danger.”

Luke nodded and then said, ”I’ve now upgraded the workshop to Rank C, which comes with some extra features, including ’Second-Class Beast Armor Blueprints.’”

A curious Amigo and a curious Seraphina leaned closer to see what their master was talking about.

The system simply explained that it was used to upgrade armor.

〖Second Class Beast Armor Blueprints: Allows the upgrade of Third-Class Beast Armor into its corresponding Second-Class version.〗

Luke stroked his chin, pondering what this meant.

So this is the canon way to upgrade armor? Through upgrading the workshop?

Luke thought that only through Aspects can beast armor be improved, but the system gave a different answer.

He could... Whenever Luke upgraded the workshop, his beast armor would also upgrade.

Why was that? Because, in reality, if a blacksmith upgrades and improves his workshop, his creations will also upgrade.

Therefore, if Luke has a Vine Bear Helmet, he can upgrade it to the next blueprint—the Emerald Bear Helmet.

In most cases, these upgrades are related to the evolution of beasts.

The Vine Bear might later evolve into the Emerald Bear.

Therefore, the Vine Bear Helmet would also become the Emerald Bear Helmet.

However, since Luke doesn’t have a Vine Bear and can’t evolve it, this means he can only use the Vine Bear Helmet.

This is the necessity of this system mechanic!

He won’t be trapped in a single type of armor!

For instance... Even without the Hell Ape, the Hell Ape Gauntlet will evolve.

The same applies to other armor, ensuring Luke can cope with enemies and the endless threats.

”Master, I think I understand what the system means,” Amigo said. ”For example, when I was still an Astral Tortoiseling, I was equipped with the Astral Tortoiseling helmet and the Astral Tortoiseling Cuirass. But now that I’ve evolved into the Heavenly Immortal Tortoise, my armors have changed to the Heavenly Immortal Tortoise helmet and the Heavenly Immortal Tortoise Cuirass.

However, for the beast armors you wear, but you don’t have the corresponding beasts to evolve—what do you do? You upgrade the beast armor to the next level, which is like evolving the very beast, but you haven’t actually evolved the very beast!”

”Yes, well understood, Amigo,” Luke said. ”But don’t you think this is cheating? Think about it, evolving beasts takes days, weeks, or even months, while beast armor can be upgraded with a single click? What of this? It’s like, if I dismiss you, dismantle your beast armor, upgrade your beast armor, and then reassemble you, wouldn’t that allow you to directly evolve into a higher-level form without actually evolving you?”

Amigo, resting his chin on his hand, replied, ”Oh, Master. Your thinking is quite impressive. It is indeed a bug, but you must check the system to confirm.”

Luke opened the system notification and selected: ”Accept Upgrade Workshop.”

Suddenly—the workshop trembled.

FLASH!

Light swallowed and emptied the workshop until many things changed.

Later, components of the workshop like workbenches and the walls changed, as the walls turned from wood to stone.

”This...is a tremendous upgrade,” Amigo praised.

Seraphina also looked around in amazement. ”Master, the workshop has gone to a new level...”

Admittedly, the change wasn’t 100%, but there were improvements. A better workshop means a better environment for forging beast armor, which means efficiency and more output.

A pleasing workshop will also attract customers to linger and interact.

After upgrading the workshop, all functions of the C-rank workshop are now available, including the Second Class Beast Armor blueprints.

Second Class Beast Armor blueprints are a system feature like a trait.

Whenever Luke examines an armor, he can see the blueprints that can be upgraded to.

When he examines the Hell Ape Gauntlet, he finds the blueprint, something different—it’s still a gauntlet, but its appearance is more ferocious.

When he examines the Bluespine Centaur Chestplate, he finds its Second Class blueprint is also applicable.

The same applies to all other beast armors.

Luke chose the Hell Ape Gauntlet because it’s his first, default test armor.

After selecting, he accepts the provided blueprint, which displays propaganda information.

〖Second Class Blueprint: The ferocious power of the devilish Hell Ape never disappoints! This gauntlet possesses unparalleled might and an imposing appearance. Once upgraded, it will unleash devastating power upon your enemies. Invest in this upgrade, and you will not regret it!〗

〖Cost: 200,000 Flame〗

”Upgrading to Second Class requires 200,000 Flame Points... I see,” Luke said. ”It seems this isn’t a cheat code at all. I needed 200 Flame Points to forge the Hell Ape Gauntlet, but I have to spend 1000% of that to upgrade it?”

”Yes, Master. It seems the Flame Point consumption is to account for the time and effort required to evolve this beast,” Amigo chimed in.

”I currently have exactly 200,000 Flame Points after grinding in the volcano. I have 200,000 Flame Points because of my C-rank Soul. So it seems that if I didn’t have a C-rank Soul, I wouldn’t be able to use the Second Class Beast Armor blueprint function,” Luke said.

”Then, I’m fortunate I possess a C-rank soul. I can upgrade the Hell Ape Gauntlet, cultivate more Flame from the volcano, upgrade the next set of armor, until all my armors are upgraded to Second Class.”

Luke accepted the system request, and thus, just to upgrade the Hell Ape Gauntlet, he spent an astonishing 200,000 Flame points.

It was shocking to know he now deals with Flame Points on a large scale, because Luke remembered that killing bugs used to only earn 0.1 Flame points

〖Success! You have upgraded the Hell Ape Gauntlet from Third Class to Second Class!〗

〖Next use of this function: 23:59:59〗

Luke thought he may upgrade all his armor to Second Class now, but the timer said that this was not the case.
