Others Summon, I Forge Beast Armor

How uncanny was this?

Luke discovered a striking resemblance between what happened between him and Scarlett and the story Mr. Blackstone told.

However, since Mr. Blackstone’s story involves the Kingsley and Blackstone families, not the Kingsley and Trump families, Luke concludes it’s ultimately just a coincidence.

In fact, in Mr. Blackstone’s story, X. Kingsley failed to protect Y. Blackstone from the Origin Realm they entered.

However, as for Luke, he didn’t even have a chance to protect Scarlett, because he never even went inside the Origin Realm.

The portal to the Origin Realm only opens briefly after the Guardian is defeated. This means that if Luke tries to enter again, he meets a closed portal.

Therefore, unfortunately, all the burden falls on Scarlett’s shoulders.

Meanwhile, on Earth, her absence will trigger numerous events. For example, at the Academy.

Queen Montclair has vanished halfway through their Joint Term?

What will happen next? With the only Mythic-level Summoner absent, the academy’s social landscape is bound to change.

”So, wow, after Derek Cole was penalized, Scarlett only spent one day hunting monsters and still managed to get second place,” Luke thought. ”But she’s not here. I wonder how she’ll claim her reward.”

Luke wolfed down what’s left of his cornbread with sauce, then grabbed some fruit.

He continued to mutter to himself, ”As for me, I will have my first-place reward to claim.”

Meanwhile, the butler, Constance, seeing him preparing to leave again, asked, ”Are you leaving? Aren’t you going to wait for the patriarch to come and give you audience?”

Luke got up from the bed and hurriedly put on his shirt. He was wearing an ordinary long-sleeved shirt and plain trousers, and his hair was also a little messy.

His thoughts were in turmoil, but at least one thing didn’t bother him: being imprisoned and enslaved by the National Chancellor.

For that reason, he should be even more grateful to the president who had saved him.

However, Luke didn’t intend to sit idly by until the president was free.

”I will come to pay him a formal visit again. He must be very busy, and I don’t want to waste his time,” Luke said.

”Very well. I will arrange for someone to take you wherever you wish to go,” said Constance. ”Please be careful. I believe the patriarch will say the same.”

Luke clasped his hands together and bowed slightly.

He had no transportation, and this manor...

was far from the hustle and bustle of the city, New Florence. So, such generous help moved him to gratitude.

Just a moment ago, he had only offered a simple thank you.

The next moment, he found himself sitting in the back seat of a Bentley.

This was undeniably extravagant!

However, he was not sure whether the Trump Family was just too wealthy, to the point that their baseline of simplicity was someone else’s peak.

The car drove smoothly through the city. Luke, in the back seat, contemplated his strengths and weaknesses, and how to avoid falling into such a life-or-death situation again.

This also reminded Luke that Brienne had damaged most of his armor.

For example, his Molten Triceratops mask had been torn in two by the sharp claws of the Golden Eldritch Manticore.

His Bluespine Centaur breastplate had also been taken down by the same beast. His Olympian Serpent armor was also ripped to shreds.

Even his reliable Hell Ape Gauntlet was crushed into his arm. This explained the bandages on his arm.

In this state, it was clear that none of his armor was functioning properly. It was as if the beasts they belonged to were injured.

Without effective beast armor, Luke would lose his power.

But fortunately, what kind of armor forger would he be if he couldn’t even repair his own armor?

The powerful and versatile Flame of Innovation granted Luke the ability to repair any damaged armor, just as he forged it.

He had been completely unaware of this before. Just yesterday, he had escaped the predicament of his armor remaining unscathed in a previous battle.

Therefore, Luke was overjoyed.

He opened the system and selected [Summons].

Then, he selected each of his beast-type armors to repair.

First was his reliable Hell Ape Gauntlet.

〖Name: Luke Kingsley〗

〖Level: 44〗

〖Soul: C〗

〖Skills: Forge | Summon | Devour | Auto-Forge | Instill〗

〖Summons: Hell Ape Gauntlet | Molten Triceratops Mask | Bluespine Centaur Chestplate | Seven-Tusk Elephant Sabatons | Lightning Dragon Wingguards | Olympian Serpent Bodyplate〗

〖Forge Slot: 4/4〗

〖Flame: 45,285.6〗

The automatic forging function can also be understood as automatic repair. Auto-Forge = Auto-Repair. Essentially, they are the same. This means that even sitting in the car like now, Luke can repair his armor at any time.

However, when he selected the Hell Ape Gauntlet, he was shocked by the cost of repairing the armor.

〖Beast Armor: Hell-Ape Gauntlet〗

〖Tier: Ancient-grade〗

〖Current Integrity: 9%〗

〖Repair Cost: 4000〗

〖Would you like to repair the Hell Ape Gauntlet?〗

What?

Repairing beast armor costs 4000 Flame Points?

Luke was incredulous!

”Wait, didn’t I only have less than 300 Flame Points when I forged the Hell Ape Gauntlet?”

”How can the repair cost be higher than the forging cost???”

Luke thought it was a system bug, so he closed and reopened the system. But the 4000 Flame Points cost remained.

After forging five pieces of Mythic-grade armor and some smaller items in the past weeks, Luke’s balance is approximately 45,000 Flame Points.

The reason he had so many Flame Points was because he cultivated surplus Flame from a volcano in the Insect World. According to the system, volcanoes are natural sources of fire.

Therefore, 45,000 Flame Points were more than enough.

But Luke was farsighted.

Imagine, repairing the armor ten times would cost 40,000 Flame Points.

Eleven times would cost 44,000 Flame Points.

His Flame Points would be exhausted.

That’s why Luke thought the repair costs were outrageously high.

However, to conserve his strength, Luke had no choice but to repair the armor.

If he didn’t have enough Flame Points later, maybe he may farm some more at the volcano in the Insect World again.

After all, his Soul Rank is at C-rank now, meaning he can absorb more Flame than before.
