900 Chapter 900 442: As If an Old Friend Returns 2026-11-03

Glastrier’s domineering and fierce body suddenly collided forward.

However, in the next moment, Spectrier’s form seemed to blur slightly, allowing Glastrier to pass right through it.

Glastrier:!!!

Seeing Glastrier’s actions, Spectrier let out a neigh that sounded like a mocking laugh.

Using sound to locate Glastrier’s position, Spectrier suddenly raised its hind legs and launched a Double Kick at Glastrier.

Kicked hard, Glastrier felt as if its very soul was being shaken loose, widening its eyes and letting out a furious neigh.

A beam of cold light burst forth from its hooves.

But Spectrier seemed to have anticipated this, stretching its legs, surrounded by flashing blue light, galloping across the battlefield.

Using Agility, Spectrier’s speed increased dramatically.

Glastrier attempted to give chase, trying to use its powerful body to bring down its opponent, but Spectrier was simply too fast; it couldn’t keep up at all.

The more it chased, the more agitated Glastrier became.

Rage transformed into power as Glastrier lifted its front legs high and stomped heavily onto the ground.

In the next second, the earth began to tremble, sending a shockwave through the ground, aiming at Spectrier, whose speed had slowed down due to the impact.

Hit by the blast, Spectrier let out a muffled whimper, watching as Glastrier charged forward, releasing a peculiar light from its body.

Confuse Ray hit successfully, bewildering Glastrier, causing it to start running in the wrong direction.

Affected by the Confuse Ray, it thought Spectrier was in the opposite direction!

Spectrier gazed towards the distance, starting to plot a strategy in its mind.

Then, a pitch-black Shadow Ball was launched towards the confused Glastrier!

With the sound of a boom, Glastrier fell to the ground, losing its ability to battle.

Thus, victory was decided.

Naoki looked with interest at Spectrier in the distance.

The last move, did Spectrier use Nasty Plot to enhance the power of its Shadow Ball?

Nasty Plot: a Dark Type move, after its use, the Pokemon plots a strategy, activating its brain, greatly boosting its Special Attack.

What a clever Spectrier!

In contrast, Glastrier seemed a bit less intelligent.

Naoki glanced at the fallen Glastrier.

That guy attempted to use a Normal-type Tackle to attack the Ghost-type Spectrier.

Glastrier and Spectrier, one simple-minded and brutish, the other clever and cunning, Calyrex’s two favorite steeds are indeed interesting.

With the battle ended, Calyrex used Heal Pulse to aid Glastrier’s recovery from its injuries.

Soon, Glastrier awoke.

”It seems the outcome of this battle is clear.” Calyrex floated forward, bringing the Crown to Spectrier.

Looking at the real Golden Crown before it, not some useless trophy, Spectrier’s heart felt immensely excited.

Moreover, this was personally bestowed by Calyrex!

Images spanning thousands of years appeared in Spectrier’s mind.

It remembered when, at the Crown Shrine, Calyrex crowned Zacian and Zamazenta like this!

Then, the King of Swords and King of the Shield were born.

And now, it’s about to become the one and only King of Horses in the world!

Such an honor, how could it not be thrilled?

Spectrier excitedly snorted.

Calyrex spoke with a gentle tone: ”My beloved steed, accept this Golden Crown! From now on, you shall be the King of Horses.”

Under the control of Psychic, the Crown slowly floated to the top of Spectrier’s head.

Feeling the weight of the object atop its head, Spectrier let out an exhilarating neigh towards the sky.

”Neigh~!”

In the distance, Glastrier snorted two plumes of white breath.

Sneaky fellow! To use such sly, despicable means!

It was not content!

At this moment, Calyrex turned to look at it.

”My beloved steed, do not be angry. On this day next year, you may challenge Spectrier, and should you win, I shall crown you as well.”

Hearing this, Glastrier glared at Spectrier, thinking: Just wait, I will snatch that Crown away!

It should be the true King of Horses, the world’s strongest Horse-type Pokemon!

Spectrier remained indifferent, ignoring Glastrier, for it has now become the true King of Horses, mere ordinary steeds don’t even qualify to anger it.

Spectrier, adorned with the Crown, went off to survey its ”territory.”

Meanwhile, Glastrier secretly gathered its strength, preparing for the upcoming Horse King championship next year.

Watching the peaceful rest of the two Horse-type Pokemon, Naoki and Calyrex both breathed a sigh of relief.

Phew... It’s finally over.

Such healthy competition might even enhance the strength of those two Horse-type Pokemon, thereby indirectly boosting Calyrex’s overall power.

After all, Calyrex can combine with them, and they even possess fusion moves, Astral Barrage and Glacial Lance.

These moves not only sound impressive but are also powerful beyond measure.

With Calyrex’s current power, Naoki feels that besides Sinnoh Region’s Hydreigon, no Dragon-type Pokemon can withstand one of its Glacial Lances.

Not even that Black Rayquaza could endure.

Given that Flying + Dragon Type Rayquaza is four times weak to Ice Type, under such circumstances, Calyrex’s Glacial Lance is nothing less than a true dragon-slaying lance.

It’s a pity Calyrex hasn’t had the chance to use this move; otherwise, he’d really like to see it.

Oh no, maybe, after all, there’s some chance.

Naoki suddenly remembered Hoopa’s movie, the plot about Unbound Hoopa summoning and controlling Legendary Pokemon from its rings to brawl.

If he remembers correctly, Giratina will also be summoned over there, possibly allowing him to join the excitement and witness the Legendary Pokemon showdown.

Perhaps even film a documentary.

Because Naoki really wants to know how long it takes Groudon to walk back from Kalos to Hoenn.
