Not Being a Trainer This Time

Naoki didn’t have any objections, fortunately, he had taken the parcel before leaving, which now came in handy for packing these items.

Once everything was packed, Naoki let the two Pawmots sit on Koraidon, and together with Squawkabilly, returned to the ranch.

By the time they reached the ranch, it was already three o’clock in the morning.

It was late at night, so Naoki let Pawmot take its parents to sleep first, and planned to introduce them to the ranch after they woke up the next day.

”Pawmot!”

Pawmot responded happily. It had grown up and was no longer the weak Pawmi it used to be.

Nowadays, it could take good care of its parents.

Pawmot took its parents and ran off.

Meanwhile, Naoki gave Squawkabilly a lot of Berries and drinks to thank it.

Squawkabilly excitedly accepted them, grabbed the bag full of rewards with its claws, and flew away.

Only then did Naoki return to the room with Koraidon.

Having stayed up all night, he almost fell asleep as soon as he hit the pillow.

When he opened his eyes the next day, it was surprisingly already eleven in the morning.

Today is the last day of the year 199, and also the new year in the Pokemon World.

After a simple lunch, Naoki began preparing New Year’s Eve dinner for the Pokemon in the ranch.

This year’s celebration wasn’t much different from last year’s, except more Pokemon friends had joined the ranch.

While Naoki was busy, those Pokemon were chasing and playing around in the living room.

Occasionally, a few Pokemon would come over to cause trouble, almost knocking over the bowl Naoki had used to hold ingredients.

Naoki could only drive them away to play in the living room, or have them bask in the sun by the World Tree.

Thus, a large group of Pokemon ran off cheerfully.

They ran to the Reversed World and arrived at the lush World Tree.

At the moment, the World Tree was emitting a shimmering green light, and the Pokemon stood under it, looking up at the extraordinary giant tree, letting the starlight emitted from the World Tree fall onto them.

On Flower Sky Island, Giratina was guiding Rotom on the internet.

After a few days, it had skillfully learned to use voice commands to play with the Rotom Phone.

Compared to watching TV on Pichu TV, Giratina preferred surfing the Pokemon Forum to learn about things unknown to it.

At the ranch, Pawmot was busy touring its workplace with its parents, happily introducing its chicken friends to them.

In the evening, Naoki made a lot of delicious food for the Pokemon, enough to cover the whole table.

The Pokemon ate happily, and after filling their bellies, they lay in groups on the carpet in the room, sleeping soundly in the warm atmosphere.

Watching this scene, Naoki smiled and exchanged a glance with his sister Indeedee, then together began to tidy up the messy dining table.

At some unknown time, snowflakes began to drift again outside the window.

On the cold winter night, the faint sound of crackling could be heard, and the snowy night was illuminated by fireworks set off by people in Porto Marinada Town celebrating the New Year.

Not knowing how long it took, the sound of fireworks gradually dimmed until it completely quieted down. Just when Naoki thought it was all over, a bell sound suddenly came from the direction of Porto Marinada Town.

Accompanied by this ethereal transition bell sound from Porto Marinada Town.

League Era 199, thus came to an end.
