Chapter 393: Creating worlds

The World Tree had now become something entirely new, an existence for which there were no records anywhere in history.

As Ethan observed its transformed form, a clear and resonant voice echoed directly within his consciousness. It did not sound mechanical, artificial, or system-like. Instead, it resembled the whisper of wind flowing endlessly through countless leaves.

”Master... I am the World Tree. I can see that you are in deep trouble.”

Ethan’s eyes snapped open in shock. The tree had never spoken before. Until this moment, it had always existed as a silent wellspring of boundless power.

”You can talk?” Ethan asked, disbelief unmistakable in his voice.

”I have reached a new stage of consciousness by merging with the Creation Lotus,” the World Tree replied calmly. ”Master, I have something very important to tell you.”

”Please tell me,” Ethan said, giving it his full and undivided attention.

”Master, I have become the balance between the positive and the negative. I am the bridge between energy and entropy. However, my evolution is not yet complete. I possess the foundation, but I lack the essence of high level life to stabilize my new form.”

The branches of the World Tree swayed gently as it continued.

”If you can bring me five Axiom Dominion level entities from the positive plane of existence, and five from the negative plane, my evolution will be finalized. Because I am directly connected to your foundation, when I reach completion, your strength will be drawn upward alongside mine.”

Ethan waited in silence, his heart pounding faster with every word that followed.

”If this is completed,” the World Tree continued, ”your strength will directly enter the Eternal Sovereign realm. That realm stands only one step below the Source Authority realm.”

A surge of pure excitement coursed through Ethan’s body. The Eternal Sovereign realm was a realm of legend. Beings who stood at that level could create and annihilate anything in existence with a mere thought.

They were the true rulers of this world. If he reached that realm, the Kizuki elder would become nothing more than an annoyance in front of him. He would walk openly through the trial and claim his wish without resistance.

Then reality settled in.

”Ten Axiom Dominion level entities,” Ethan whispered. ”Five positive, five negative. How am I supposed to capture them? The will of the Eternal Domain is acting as an enemy of mine. I won’t be able to find out them.”

”Master, you do not need to fight them all at once,” the World Tree replied gently. ”You also do not need to surpass them in strength to trap them. You possess the Space Cube. You wield the Sword of Infinity. And most importantly, you have me. I can assist in suppressing them if you succeed in luring them into your domain.”

Ethan stood upright within the Space Cube, his eyes burning with renewed and dangerous resolve. The fear he had felt earlier vanished completely, replaced by the cold calculation of a hunter preparing an inevitable trap.

He had no allies, but he had a plan.

”The Kizuki elder and the others want my head,” Ethan said, a dark smile forming on his face. ”They believe I am a cornered beast. They will come for me. They will send their strongest warriors, their Axiom level generals.”

He looked down at his hands, sensing the golden Progenitor blood flowing powerfully through his veins.

”I will give them exactly what they want. I will show them where I am. And when they come to erase me, I will drag them into my world and turn them into nourishment for my tree.”

Ethan fully understood the risks. If he failed to trap even one of them, he would be reduced to ash. But he had no other choice. The universe itself was tightening its grip around him. To survive, he needed to become the embodiment of terror.

He began mapping nearby realities with meticulous care. He required an isolated location, a place where he could construct his trap with minimal interference from the greater will of the Eternal Domain.

”Ten days,” Ethan decided. ”I will spend ten days merging the bloodlines I gathered from the candidates I erased. I will push my body to its absolute limit. Then, I will open the gates.”

He sat at the center of the Space Cube and entered deep meditation. The bloodlines of thousands of fallen protagonists manifested as swirling orbs of radiant light around him. One by one, he drew them in, weaving them seamlessly into his Omni Bloodline.

With every merge, his heartbeat grew louder. With every merge, his skin hardened and his foundation deepened. He was no longer merely human. He was becoming a living convergence of the world’s greatest potentials.

Ethan was reaching a level where every kind of power would fall under his control.

And with a single thought, he would be able to use all of those powers.

His Omni Bloodline was also slowly absorbing the Progenitor blood.

Ethan did not know what it would become after consuming ten thousand bloodlines, but he was looking forward to finding out.

After merging more than fifteen hundred bloodlines, Ethan did not stop.

He had obtained a bloodline a few days ago, the World Seed bloodline.

Ethan believed this bloodline was nothing short of a cheat code.

It allowed the user to create a world from a seed using sufficient energy.

And that was not the end. Those worlds could grow as large as his inner dimension.

If he created one million worlds, and they grew to the size of his inner dimension, his power would increase by one million times.

Meaning every breakthrough would grant him one million times similar power.

And one million was not the limit. Ethan could create an infinite number of worlds within his body using his infinite energy.

This bloodline alone was enough for him to rule everything.

And once his own system was activated, Ethan could already imagine how terrifying he would become at that time.

The Space Cube possessed a one hundred thousand times faster time field.

If he spent one million days inside, only ten days would pass outside.

Ethan planned to create unlimited numbers of worlds for the first two hundred fifty thousand days.

After that, he would mature them all at once.

He calculated that it required five seconds to create a world seed and plant it within his body.

This meant he could create approximately 4.3 billion world seeds within two hundred fifty thousand days.

That meant he would possess power comparable to 4.3 billion Genesis realm beings once those worlds matured.

But Ethan was not a normal being.

He possessed infinite energy, which meant an infinite number of clones.

Each clone could create 4.3 billion seeds. The result was immeasurable.

Ethan sat cross-legged and began forming clones.

A vast number of clones manifested within his inner dimension.

Soon, the number of clones reached 10¹⁰⁰ times.

”Okay, that’s enough. Let’s begin,” Ethan said as his cultivation truly started.

But he still did not stop.

He continued creating clones, and those clones continued creating world seeds.

Ethan decided that he would not stop for a single second.

Infinite energy was being consumed.

If he had used the energy of the outside world, he would have already drained the entire Eternal Domain dry.

While Ethan cultivated, the outside world descended into turmoil.

Within the Kizuki ancient family.

”Supreme Elder, what happened?” the other elders asked worriedly.

”That bastard possesses some kind of treasure capable of harming me. I want him dead. But we cannot take risks. Send low vanguards to keep an eye on him.”
