Chapter 353: Commander level dark apostle

”Ah! What is this shit?” Kevin roared in pain.

Ashborn could not help smirking.

”Did you think the sages of your church did not try? You thought you could break it by force? Are you stronger than a sage?”

Kevin was in no condition to answer logically. He simply bit his tongue and left the place.

”Well, Mr. Ashborn, do you want to try it out?” Irina asked with a smile.

”No, I am good. I just came here to have some fun,” Ashborn replied with a smile.

But there was a strange light in his eyes.

”What kind of powerful entity created this? Even I cannot break it,” Ashborn thought silently.

”Let us leave. It would not be good to anger such an entity. I should stay out of his path.” Ashborn left, and Irina followed.

Five more months passed.

Inside the house, Ethan opened his eyes. They looked like an eternal void at that moment.

He began floating in the air. He was conscious yet unconscious, because he had finally completed a cycle of his Infinite Ascension Sutra.

[Source of Existence: 0.1 percent]

It meant he had finally entered the true game of power.

His body was being reconstructed, especially his eyes.

[Congratulations, Master!]

Yumiko congratulated him, but Ethan did not respond. Either he did not hear, or he heard but paid no attention.

Two hours later, his eyes returned to normal.

Ethan looked around, and his eyes widened the moment he saw his surroundings.

Right now, he was seeing different colorfull patterns were interlinked with each other. The entire space around him was covered in those patterns. They looked like a mosaic.

”What are these, Yumiko?”

[Master, they are the patterns behind the laws of the world.]

”Patterns? What does that mean?”

[Master, patterns are the structures behind a law. You are now seeing how a law functions.]

”Is that so? Why did you not tell me earlier?” he asked excitedly.

[Sorry, Master. I forgot to mention it before.]

”No sweat. So you are telling me these interlinking lines are the functional roots of a law? How cool is this? Is it like fire burns, which I could use as a third dimensional being, but now I can see why fire actually burns?”

[Exactly, Master. As impressive as ever.]

”Then can I change these patterns?”

[No, Master. You will have to ascend to higher dimensional being for that. As a fourth dimensional being, you can only see the functions. But Master, your eyes have evolved in a different direction.

I do not know what this evolution is, but you can see the patterns of the entire world. Normally, a fourth dimensional being can only see the pattern of one law at a time. You can see everything at once. It will give you an advantage against beings of similar level.]

”Let us call this the Eye of Primordial Light.” Ethan named it proudly, because the system had just confirmed how impressive he was.

A normal fourth dimensional being had to choose a single law pattern before observing it. Some exceptional beings could see more than one, but even the most gifted ones could not see more than five at once.

He then looked at his panel.

[Master: Ethan Hunt

Realm: 4th Dimension (15.5 Sextillion Golden Seals)

Physique: 6 Alfa Seal

Spirit: 6 Alfa Seal

Talent: Infinite Comprehension

System Ability: Creation of All Things

(1 Alfa Seal equals to 11th dimensional power)

Ethan’s raw power had finally entered the 11th dimensional level.

Inside Ethan’s origin sea, the origin form of Ethan sat on his throne.

”Perceive the pattern of laws? I have never seen these things. I never knew there were structures like this behind a law. No wonder I could not become any stronger.

It turns out my body was incapable of seeing these things. My raw power could always destroy anything and everything, so I never thought about these minor details.” He was pleasantly surprised by this discovery.

This power was truly magical. If he could have seen these patterns in his prime, he could have rewritten the functions of laws and created entirely new laws that did not exist before.

...

Outside.

Boom.

The celestial planet was attacked by something tremendous.

The entire planet shook. For a behemoth planet like this to tremble, the attacker needed power at the level of a sage or higher.

”Who dares attack the celestial planet?” a sage roared from the secret realm.

They all looked outside the planet.

Something was standing there. It looked like a demon. It had a horn on its head, wings on its back, and a humanoid body. But it was not a normal demon.

It was spreading dark energy.

The demon pulled its arm back and struck again.

Boom.

It punched the planet’s protective barrier. This time the tremor was even more violent. Everyone standing fell to the ground, buildings collapsed, and many people died instantly.

”Abomination! Stop at once!”

The sages could not remain calm anymore.

They left their secret realm and appeared outside the planet.

There were seven sages. Three radiated the power of 11th dimensional beings, and the rest were around the 8th or 9th dimensional level.

But none of them could sense the demon’s power level.

The demon’s eyes were closed. When they finally opened, all the sages were terrified.

Those eyes had the same runes as the previous owner of the Cosmic Cataclysm three billion years ago.

This was a Commander class Dark Apostle.

”No. No. No. How can this be? How can a Commander class appear at a time like this?”

The weaker sages began shaking, their eyes full of despair. A Commander class Dark Apostle was stronger than even their gods.

Only the three major sages managed to stay somewhat calm, though they were also close to collapsing.

Because the last time a Commander class Dark Apostle appeared, it killed all the sages, and the God of Light had to intervene personally to slay it.

And these sages were far weaker than their predecessors. They had only three billion years to grow after becoming sages.

”Gods, please hear our plea. We cannot handle this apocalyptic demon. The celestial planet will be destroyed if you do not intervene.”

They all began praying.

But their gods did not have time to listen. Because right now a man in black clothes was standing in the God Realm, and his mere presence was shaking all the gods, including the three major gods.

”Hello, my little brothers and sisters. Long time no see. How have you been all these years? Your elder brother has returned. Will you not welcome me?”

A mocking tone came from the man.

Inside his house, Ethan looked at the outside world.

”We have been cooped up for so long. Give me the important news about what has been happening outside.”

”Yes, my lord. We are on a planet called Celestial Planet, and this planet and the entire universe are ruled by 20th dimensional beings called gods.”

”20th dimensional beings? This universe is incredible. It allows a power cap that high. Well, I want to eat something delicious. Let us go outside.”
