Merging with Demon Spirits

Chapter 109: Chapter 96: Red Cloud University (Part 2)

”Alright, I choose Red Cloud.” Lin Feng nodded and said.

Upon hearing this, Teacher Bai, Teacher Huang, and Jiang Hong were all stunned.

At first, Teacher Bai and Teacher Huang didn’t regard Red Cloud highly, never expecting Lin Feng to choose Red Cloud University in the end.

And Jiang Hong, who had never held out hope, was even more surprised and couldn’t imagine Lin Feng would choose her.

”Lin Feng, think it over carefully. Red Cloud’s foundation and strength are far inferior to our Great Wall University.” Teacher Bai’s face looked a bit ugly, but he was still making a last-ditch effort to persuade him.

Teacher Huang felt the same way.

”Lin Feng, don’t worry. Although Red Cloud hasn’t been established as long as Great Wall and Demon Star, its comprehensive strength is not weak. Red Cloud University definitely has more sincerity and will surely provide you with the resources and environment you want.” Jiang Hong quickly said.

As a recruitment teacher, Jiang Hong, besides being pretty, naturally had good eloquence.

Originally silent because she felt hopeless, now knowing Lin Feng’s intention, she was afraid of being thwarted and kept emphasizing the advantages of enrolling in Red Cloud.

”Jiang, besides Dong Yunan and Yun Kai, my Martial Arts Club has two other members. Their scores are close to the Nine Elite Joint Schools, but they don’t meet Red Cloud University’s admission standards. We promised to go to the same university together, if...”

Before Lin Feng could finish saying ”if,” Jiang Hong quickly said, ”No problem, as long as you all join Red Cloud University, your two classmates will receive special recruitment as well.”

Jiang Hong had no hesitation.

Simply recruiting two average students in exchange for the enrollment of three super talents was not even worth considering, so Jiang Hong agreed outright.

”We at Demon Star are also willing.” Teacher Huang said.

”We at Great Wall are also willing.” Teacher Bai said.

With both Great Wall and Demon Star making the same promise, Jiang Hong was noticeably nervous, looking expectantly at Lin Feng, her heart racing.

”Sorry, I choose Red Cloud University.” Lin Feng said.

At this moment, upon hearing Lin Feng’s definitive response, Teacher Huang and Teacher Bai’s expressions turned slightly cold.

It was then they finally realized that Lin Feng had actually decided long ago to choose Red Cloud.

Their fierce competition was merely being used to pave the way for Lin Feng’s decision.

Though somewhat aggrieved, the two did not show it.

As the most renowned universities in the country, they have the strength to select various students, but equally, super talents have the right to choose them.

This matter is not about right or wrong, just dissatisfaction.

Because Lin Feng and his friends joining will inevitably make Red Cloud University the biggest winner.

”Lin Feng, just make sure you won’t regret it.”

While speaking, Teacher Bai looked at Lin Fang and Old Ma, clearly hoping they, as parents, could change Lin Feng’s decision.

After all, Great Wall University is recognized as the top school nationwide.

Lin Fang and Old Ma exchanged a glance, politely smiled at Teacher Bai, but did not persuade Lin Feng.

Lin Feng has a mind of his own, and since he has decided, they have no objections.

Seeing their plan failed and Lin Feng not changing his mind, Teacher Bai and Teacher Huang had to leave disappointedly.

After the two left, Jiang Hong, who had been nervous, finally relaxed.

”Lin Feng, I’ll call the school, please wait a moment.”

Jiang Hong said to Lin Feng. She was just a recruiting officer, and a scholarship of one billion New Coins per year was beyond her authority, so she had to consult leadership to sign the admission contract with Lin Feng.

However, she was confident.

Being able to win over three super talents from Great Wall and Demon Star was extremely difficult and even an unexpected joy; leadership at the school would surely not let this opportunity slip by.

As expected, as she anticipated, when she called the school’s admissions office leader and informed them of Lin Feng and his friends joining Red Cloud, the leader was extremely excited and pleasantly surprised.

Regarding the one billion New Coins scholarship, it wasn’t excessively high, and since Great Wall and Demon Star could afford it, Red Cloud could naturally afford it too.

As for the two additional admission spots Lin Feng wanted, it was not a problem at all.

Every year, Red Cloud admits some students who don’t meet the standards but pay an exorbitant school choice fee. Adding two more students was insignificant.

”Lin Feng, please inform Yun Kai and Dong Yunan. I have two colleagues at their doorstep; after signing the admission contract, they can log into the exam website and fill in their choices directly.”

Jiang Hong hung up and said to Lin Feng, at the same time looking at him expectantly with bright eyes.

If she could sign three super talents, the leaders promised her that she would be promoted from an intern, with benefits and salary tripled.

”Okay, just a moment.” Lin Feng took out his phone and typed quickly.

”It’s settled, we chose Red Cloud University. The three of us, with each receiving a scholarship of one billion a year. Gao Hai and Yang Fan can also attend Red Cloud. The admissions office is at your doorstep; go ahead and sign the admission contract.”

In a second, Gao Hai replied first: ”Boss is mighty, Boss is awesome.”

Yang Fan, not wanting to be left behind, replied second: ”Boss is mighty, Boss is awesome.”

Dong Yunan: ”A scholarship of one billion New Coins is incredible, Brother Feng, you’re amazing. But my dad—he’s beside me—asks why you chose Red Cloud over Great Wall or Demon Star?”

Clearly, Great Wall and Demon Star are everyone’s top school choices, so this question isn’t surprising.

Yun Kai: ”Understood, Red Cloud University.”

Yun Kai’s reply was equally concise and strong, not questioning the reason, showing unconditional trust in Lin Feng.

Perhaps Yun Kai’s trust in Lin Feng made Dong Yunan anxious, as she quickly replied again: ”Brother Feng, I’m not doubting you, Red Cloud is fine too, but my dad wants to know the reason.”

Lin Feng: ”There’s only one reason. Red Cloud University’s campus has two Otherworld Space Gates, making it convenient. I can help you quickly enhance your strength.”

After a minute, Dong Yunan replied: ”Got it, Boss is mighty!”

It was clear that Dong Yunan had also agreed.

To Lin Feng, Dong Yunan joining Red Cloud was naturally better, but if she disagreed, it wasn’t a huge issue. As long as Yun Kai joined, Red Cloud University wouldn’t alter the admission contract.

Moreover, Lin Feng believed that as one of the three vice presidents of the Jiang City Demon Spirit Master Association, Dong Xiuxian’s vision wouldn’t be that narrow. Having him and Yun Kai as teammates would greatly benefit Dong Yunan.

”Jiang, they’ve all been informed and should sign the admission contract shortly.” Lin Feng said to Jiang Hong.

Jiang Hong couldn’t contain her excitement and quickly took a sip of tea to calm down.

Soon, Jiang Hong’s phone vibrated softly. She opened it and immediately smiled: ”Lin Feng, Yun Kai, and Dong Yunan have already signed the admission contracts. We can sign the contract now too.”

As she spoke, Jiang Hong took out an admission contract and began filling it out.

When Lin Feng signed his name and filled in the admission preference, he officially became a freshman at Red Cloud University. For him, a new journey was beginning.
