Martial Dao: Peace by Force

Chapter 155: Chapter 124: He’s Here

He blocked it?

Tie Feiyang let out a sharp sigh of relief.

The men behind him also breathed easier. One of them even cracked a smile. ’The old man’s still got it.’

President Qin’s expression, however, turned ugly.

’How is this old bastard still so damn strong?’

’If I screw this up today, how will I ever show my face again!’

But just then, Sun Weilong smiled.

It was no longer the polite, formal smile from before.

Instead, it was a smile that sent a chill down the spine.

It was a smile filled with excitement, anticipation, and the satisfaction of a hunter who had finally cornered his prey.

Because...

’He’s figured out this old man’s limits.’

So now...

’There’s no need to hold back!’

Sun Weilong straightened up.

He cracked his knuckles and stretched his limbs.

Then, his body suddenly grew taller.

Originally of average height, he suddenly seemed to be stretched from within. His shoulders and back broadened immensely, his arms bulged, and his entire frame expanded as if pumped full of air.

Blocks of muscle bulged and twisted like ancient tree roots.

His clothes were stretched taut in an instant, looking as if they might burst at any moment.

Green veins popped out on his neck and arms, writhing like small snakes.

Sun Weilong’s breathing grew heavy. With each breath, his chest rose and fell dramatically, exuding the powerful aura of a wild beast.

Tie Feiyang’s pupils contracted violently.

’So this is the Eight-Armed Divine Fist... the one that killed three Blood Tempering Third Transformation masters in South Asia with just eight punches.’

’This is his true form?!’

The Sun Weilong before them now hardly looked human.

He was a humanoid T-rex, a ferocious beast straight out of antiquity.

The sheer visual impact of it made many in the room instinctively take a step back.

Sun Weilong lowered his head slightly, staring at Tie Qingyang.

His eyes had changed. Gone was the calm certainty from before, replaced by an undisguised killing intent.

”Elder Tie!” he began, his voice much deeper than before, a savage grin on his lips. ”Heh, this junior can still take it. I wonder if you can?”

The moment the words left his mouth, he struck again.

This time, he was more than twice as fast as before.

Everyone was left speechless.

Tie Feiyang’s pupils shrank to pinpricks. A chill shot up from the base of his spine straight to the crown of his skull.

He finally understood why three Blood Tempering Third Transformation masters had been killed within eight punches... The thing in front of him wasn’t human at all. It was a monster wearing human skin.

”We surrender!”

He practically roared the words, his voice exploding through the hall.

At that moment, he was no longer thinking about territory, business, or the future of Tie Shizhe.

He just wanted his father to live. He just wanted the old man who raised him to walk out of that door alive.

But Sun Weilong acted as if he hadn’t heard.

His purpose for coming today was never about territory, negotiation, or anything that could be compromised on.

He wanted Tie Qingyang’s life.

To solve the problem once and for all—to cut the weeds and pull out the roots.

Seeing this, Tie Feiyang’s eyes turned bloodshot. In the instant everyone else was frozen in horror, he charged forward.

He had little talent for martial arts, having barely reached the First Transformation of the Blood Tempering Realm. He was completely outmatched.

But only a single thought consumed his mind.

’Block it! Block it for Dad! Even if I have to use my own life to do it!’

One step, two steps...

However, a hand suddenly reached out from behind him, grabbed his shoulder, and yanked him back.

It was Tie Qingyang.

This gray-haired... injury-ridden... ”old man” whom everyone considered weak and decrepit, at this very moment, his vitality surged. He was like an aged tiger raising its head before a hunter’s blade.

He did not retreat.

Nor did he need anyone to die for him.

In that instant, Tie Qingyang threw a punch.

His form carried the sharpness of a Sword Technique, the ferocity he had honed over a lifetime of fighting from Guandong to the Holy City, and the final dignity of an Elder Martial Artist!

Tie Qingyang had always believed that he could die in battle, but he could never flee pathetically in the face of a challenge!

Even if he were to die, he would die on his feet!

”KILL!”

...

President Qin smiled.

Standing behind Sun Weilong, he watched Tie Qingyang’s all-or-nothing punch, his lips curling into a smug, triumphant grin.

’Tie Qingyang is finished now, and so is Tie Shizhe.’

’The underground resources of the west... from this day forward, they’ll all be mine.’

He could already imagine the days to come.

’Good riddance. The more gruesome his death, the better.’

”BANG!”

Fists collided.

Sun Weilong’s fist smashed into Tie Qingyang’s chest, while Tie Qingyang’s fist slammed into Sun Weilong’s ribs at the same time.

The muffled impact was like a clap of thunder, making the very air tremble.

Tie Qingyang stumbled back seven steps, each one leaving a shallow footprint on the floor. He finally steadied himself. Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, but he hadn’t fallen.

He hadn’t fallen?

The smile on President Qin’s face froze instantly.

Sun Weilong raised an eyebrow, somewhat surprised. He glanced down at his ribs, which were throbbing with a dull ache. The old man had actually managed to bruise him.

But his lips curled upward, his tone tinged with amusement. ”It seems this junior still underestimated you, Elder. But you can’t be feeling too good right now, can you?”

Tie Qingyang didn’t speak. His lips were pressed into a thin line, his face flushed red. His Adam’s apple bobbed a few times as he swallowed back the blood that had risen in his throat.

Sun Weilong’s smile vanished, his gaze hardening. ”To take my Corpse Ghost Fist and still be standing is something to be proud of. Next—”

He took a step forward.

”Take my third punch.”

Tie Feiyang lunged forward like a madman, shielding Tie Qingyang. ”We surrender! We surrender! Do you hear me? We surrender!”

Sun Weilong paused, frowning, and glanced at President Qin.

The smile returned to President Qin’s face. He leisurely straightened his cuffs and said in a careless tone, ”Surrender? Boss Tie’s last punch didn’t look like he was surrendering... There’s only one way this ends today... Tie Shizhe has disregarded the rules of the underworld and attempted a sneak attack. I have no choice... but to retaliate.”

He raised a hand and gave a slight wave.

”Everyone from Tie Shizhe must remain here today.”

”Send them on their way!”

As soon as he spoke, the main doors slammed shut with a BANG.

Then—

”BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!”

Gunfire erupted.

Tie Feiyang scrambled to dodge. The moment he twisted his body, a sharp pain shot through his left arm...

He’d been shot.

Ignoring the wound, he whipped his head around, his gaze piercing through the gunpowder smoke to land on the person who had fired.

Zhao You?!

The man who had followed his father for twenty years. The man he had called ”Brother You” for two decades.

”Zhao You... why!”

Tie Feiyang roared, his voice laced with disbelief.

Zhao You’s face was calm as he held the gun, directing his subordinates to fire on the men Tie Qingyang had brought. One by one, they fell, blood spreading across the hall floor.

Amid the gunfire, he said flatly, ”I am grateful to Boss Tie for his patronage. But over so many years, I’ve already repaid that debt. Now, I just want to live a different life.”

”Repaid it? What could you possibly have repaid it with?” Tie Feiyang’s eyes were bloodshot, his body trembling. ”Back then, your whole family was driven to their deaths! If it weren’t for my dad, you’d have been eaten by stray dogs, bones and all! How the hell can you face him?”

He roared and charged, completely ignoring the gunshot wound in his arm.

The gunman next to Zhao You immediately raised his weapon but was stopped by Zhao You’s hand.

Zhao You watched Tie Feiyang charge with a cold expression, only making his move when the young man was right in front of him.

A single palm strike.

Tie Feiyang was sent flying, crashing over a table and landing heavily on the ground.

Zhao You retracted his hand. He paid Tie Feiyang no more mind, turning instead to look at Tie Qingyang.

The gray-haired Boss Tie stood there, blood at his lips and wounds on his body, swaying on his feet like an old tree about to fall.

Zhao You spoke slowly, ”Boss Tie, you’re old. The times have already changed. President Qin gave you a chance before, but you didn’t cherish it...”

He raised his pistol, aiming it between Tie Qingyang’s brows.

”Don’t blame me.”

”You treacherous beast! I was a fool to trust you!”

Tie Qingyang roared, his mouth full of blood, and lunged forward like an enraged tiger.

His lunge was astonishingly fast, not at all like someone who was seriously injured.

The gun fired.

In the nick of time, Tie Qingyang twisted his body. The bullet grazed his ear and struck the pillar behind him, sending splinters flying.

Zhao You’s expression changed.

He never expected the old man, as injured as he was, could still dodge a bullet.

A chill rose from the bottom of his heart. He scrambled backward, shouting, ”Sun Weilong! Aren’t you going to kill him?!”

”Who the hell are you to tell me what to do?”

Sun Weilong’s cold voice rang out.

Zhao You’s heart sank. Before he could react, Tie Qingyang was upon him... a deadly punch flying toward him.

Zhao You dodged pathetically, scrambling and rolling to narrowly avoid the blow.

He had just breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Sun Weilong shoot out from the side, smashing a fist into Tie Qingyang’s back.

Tie Qingyang was sent flying, slamming against the wall before sliding to the floor.

Sun Weilong walked past Zhao You and snorted coldly. ”Useless.”

Zhao You’s face immediately flushed red. His lips moved, but he didn’t dare make a sound.

President Qin, having witnessed Tie Qingyang’s brutal downfall, began to clap and cheer, letting out a wild laugh. ”Farewell, Boss Tie!”

Sun Weilong then strode toward Tie Qingyang, preparing the final blow.

Just then...

”BANG!”

The door behind them suddenly exploded inward.
