Looking Forward to Another World

”Hmm?”

Riezel, who had been chanting magic, suddenly stopped.

He sensed that, at the point where countless orbs of light were crashing down on Allen, a surge of magical energy burst forth like a fountain.

Even though the magical energy was not strong—at least, compared to Riezel, or even to Lefiya and Riveria, it was insignificant—this magical energy carried overwhelming momentum, causing a silver-blue light to emerge amidst the descending orbs of light.

”!!!”

Almost at the same moment, a warning sign surged in Riezel’s heart, so without any hesitation, he decisively halted his chant, canceled the magic he was about to unleash, and leapt high into the air, leaving the ground behind.

*BOOM!*

In that very instant, the silver-blue light surged out from the countless orbs of light like a torrent of light.

It was a light of godlike speed.

It was a fleeting, instantaneous charge.

Like a chariot of light roaring across the earth like a meteor, the silver-blue light smashed through everything and broke free from danger.

The orbs of light crashing down from above were scattered by it.

The shockwaves and the debris filling the sky were also blasted away.

It was as if a radiant, dragon-like streak of light was racing across the ground at extreme speed. Whether it was Riezel’s magic or the rubble and ruins blocking its path, everything was rapidly destroyed under the charge of this chariot-like torrent of light.

*BOOOM!*

Leaving behind a massive trench like the track of a vehicle, the silver-blue light swept past the spot where Riezel had been just a second earlier and, with a thunderous roar, slammed toward the rear.

*BOOOM!*

A still-intact building was shattered.

*BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*

In front of the torrent of light, building after building was inevitably struck, crushed by the silver-blue torrent of light, and exploded in succession.

”Well, damn...”

Riezel, who had leapt high into the air to avoid the charge of the supersonic torrent of light, narrowed his eyes at the sight.

Through the Transparent World, he clearly saw that within the silver-blue light, the spear-wielding Allen was sprinting forward, his speed and momentum several times—no, even dozens of times—greater than before.

”Vana Freya... Freya’s chariot, huh? What a man, Allen Fromel.”

Despite Riezel’s evaluation, Allen, wrapped in the silver-blue light, remained unmoved—his eyes were no longer filled with murderous intent, but with cold indifference, while his face no longer burned with anger, instead filled with resolve.

Using this magic meant that Allen was determined to win this battle at all costs.

Because this magic—he had never used it in front of others before. Even when he challenged Ottar in the Dungeon before reaching Level 7, he had not used it. And now, he had revealed it before Riezel, which alone was enough to prove his determination not to lose.

*BOOM!*

At once, the silver-blue torrent of light began to change direction—the torrent of light racing across the ground made a sharp turn, leaving the buildings it had crushed behind, and charged toward Riezel, who had just landed.

”Awaken...”

Riezel, now on the ground, finally began chanting an extraordinary enchant-type magic.

No.

Before activating that magic, Riezel had already cast another magic.

”Alter the old truth, forge a new one.”

A transparent magic circle appeared beneath him.

”Lost Truth!”

Just like that, the magic capable of granting the Imaginary attribute and altering other magic spells was activated.

*PENG!*

In an instant, the transparent magic circle shattered like broken glass, fragments drifting around Riezel.

Having activated this modifying magic, Riezel imbued the extraordinary enchantment that followed with the freely usable Imaginary attribute.

Hence, the extraordinary ’Wind’ transformed into the extraordinary ’Lightning,’ and the magic known as Ariel took on another name.

”Eryon!”

In an instant, thick bolts of lightning appeared around Riezel’s body, covering him.

As the lightning-based extraordinary enchant-type magic activated, Riezel’s breathing rhythm subtly shifted, becoming the fastest and most explosive of all breathing styles—Thunder Breathing.

Clearly, Riezel had realized that without combining Thunder Breathing with Eryon, his speed would be mercilessly crushed by Allen, who had become a true chariot of light.

Gralineze Fromel—the only magic Allen possessed—had the effect of massively enhancing AGI and converting speed into power.

In other words, once this magic was activated, the faster Allen’s charge became, the greater the force and destructive power he could unleash.

In theory, this magic had no upper limit.

As long as his speed could increase without bound, the power of his charge would rise without limit.

Wrapped in the silver-blue light, he could crush everything through this alone.

Riezel’s mastery of magic was no longer what it once was, so he could easily discern the specific effects of this magic without needing anyone to explain it or relying on memories of the original story.

*BOOM!*

With lightning coursing through his entire body, Riezel transformed into a flash and darted to the side.

In that moment, the torrent of light brushed past the lightning by a hair’s breadth, carrying unstoppable momentum as it smashed through building after building in its path, and after knocking down several buildings and leaving a long trench behind, the torrent of light finally changed direction again, pursuing the darting lightning.

It was clear that after activating the magic, even Allen could no longer fully control his own speed. He could only surge forward along his overwhelming inertia for a long distance before managing to change direction.

Such acceleration, such a charge, such an assault had already become a form of extreme violence.

Allen coldly, mercilessly, and silently continued his assault in Riezel’s direction.

*BOOM!*

*BOOM!*

Lightning flashed ahead while the silver-blue light pursued from behind.

At this moment, the two streaks of light left everything else in the world behind, racing across the land at a speed no one could match, turning the Entertainment District—now engulfed in flames—into their racetrack, where no one could stop them.

”AAAAAAHHH—!!!”

”HEEELPPP—!!!”

”RUUUNNN—!!!”

Along their path, countless screams and wails rang out.

They belonged to the unfortunate people caught within the trajectory of the lightning and the torrent of light.

Whether they were adventurers of the Freya Familia, berberas of the Ishtar Familia, or civilians who had yet to evacuate the Entertainment District—at this moment, the lightning and the torrent of light indiscriminately swept everything into their path, sending them flying like debris.

With that, the high-speed pursuit began, unveiling a battle that countless witnesses would never forget for the rest of their lives.

*BOOM!*

Suddenly, the lightning racing ahead changed direction.

”Thunderclap and Flash!”

Riezel, his entire body wrapped in lightning, finally made the first move, slashing out a strike that seemed to break through the speed of light.

In that instant, the lightning surged, as if thickened several times over, and charged toward the oncoming torrent of light without losing momentum.

*BOOOM!*

A deafening roar erupted as the lightning and the light collided violently within the sea of flames, unleashing a terrifying shockwave that flattened the surrounding buildings.

In that instant, the ground shattered without question, torn apart like paper and sent flying as countless fragments of debris. Gale-force winds mixed with dust, whipping up a sandstorm across the Entertainment District.

At the center of the shockwave and sandstorm, the colliding lightning and light unleashed their terrifying power against each other—at times the lightning overpowered the light, forcing it back, and at times the light overwhelmed the lightning, pushing it back in return.

For a moment, the two sides fell into a deadlock.

*BANG!*

Only after a short while did the two finally repel each other—both failed to gain the upper hand and were blasted backward like lasers, crashing through several more buildings.

*BOOM!*

*BOOM!*

Yet, as the buildings collapsed, the lightning and the light erupted again simultaneously. While unleashing shockwaves and sandstorms, they tore through the ground and charged toward each other once more.

*BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!* *BANG!*

Accompanied by deafening roars, the lightning and the light collided repeatedly, each clash stirring up devastating shockwaves.

Every collision shattered the earth.

Every collision ended in a brief stalemate before both sides were forced apart again.

Yet after each separation, they would immediately change direction and collide once more, triggering thunderous explosions and violent shockwaves.

Under their rampage, the Entertainment District—which had already been reduced to a sea of fire and ruins—could no longer even maintain its original outline, as it was being destroyed at a visible rate, gradually being flattened into nothing.

Such terrifying clashes caused countless gods and mortals—those who had climbed onto rooftops, those who had gathered near the Entertainment District, and even those at Belit Babili—to recoil in shock.

”W-What the hell is that?!”

”What in the world...”

”Did the Black Dragon just show up in Orario?!”

”Who’s fighting over there?!”

Countless gods went mad.

Countless mortals trembled.

Even those engaged in fierce battle within Belit Babili were drawn to the overwhelming disturbance, and every single one of them fell into panic.

Haruhime, who had been sent to the altar, trembled along with the surrounding berberas.

Ishtar, who had been fleeing, was knocked to the ground by a shockwave, causing the male attendants beside her to cry out.

Freya, who was advancing deeper into Belit Babili with her loyal followers to eliminate another Goddess of Beauty, narrowed her eyes, smiling as she sighed.

Even Bell, imprisoned in a cell and having just managed to break free, was startled by the apocalyptic rumbling.

Naturally, the staff of the Guild who had rushed to the Entertainment District, along with the enforcers of the Ganesha Familia, were all stunned and did not dare to advance any further. Even Gareth, who was leading a large force, along with Tiona and Tione, frowned as they approached.

As for the citizens of Orario, they too fell into panic.

”A bunch of monsters!”

Ein, clad in a purple robe, wearing metal gauntlets and a mask, turned away without hesitation, avoiding being swept into this disaster.

Yes—this was a disaster.

Even Riezel and Allen themselves had not expected their battle to escalate into such a catastrophe.

’Is this your full power?’

Riezel’s fighting intent had been fully ignited.

After using his magic, Allen’s strength had entered an entirely different domain. In terms of pure speed, even Level 8 adventurers specializing in AGI might not surpass him. And now, with that overwhelming speed converted into destructive power by his magic, the threat he posed had already exceeded that of Ottar before his level-up.

Gralineze Fromel—this was undoubtedly a very rare magic, second only to Uchide no Kozuchi and Ariel, with effects that could likewise be described as extraordinary.

”Thunderclap and Flash - Godspeed!”

With his fighting spirit reignited for the first time in a long while and adrenaline surging, Riezel gathered the violently raging lightning across his body into Fool—now sheathed at his side—and in the next instant drew his blade in a devastating slash.

*BOOOM!*

Riezel’s ultimate lightning strike truly split space itself.

A massive bolt of lightning, radiating blinding brilliance and scorching heat, slammed into the torrent of light, blasting it away.

”ARGH!”

Allen, wrapped in the silver-blue light, spat out a mouthful of blood, shock and fury surging within him.

”Even after using my magic, I still got caught up to?!”

Intense unwillingness and rage made Allen roar.

”DON’T MESS WITH ME!”

Roaring, Allen ignored his bleeding body and launched another charge—who knew how many times by now.

Despite being heavily injured by Riezel’s Godspeed, not only had Allen not slowed down, he instead seemed to unleash hidden potential from deep within his body, becoming even faster amid his extreme acceleration.

*BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!* *BOOM!*

Ruins, rocks, the ground, buildings—no matter what stood before him, everything was crushed outright.

The now even larger torrent of light surged forward, smashing and pulverizing everything in its path like a comet streaking across the earth, charging straight toward the lightning that had just completed its strike.

”Good—come!”

Watching as the torrent of light rapidly expanded in his vision within mere milliseconds, Riezel grinned.

”Take this!”

Riezel sheathed Fool, causing the raging lightning that had already transformed into countless lightning snakes to leap from his body and dance across the surrounding ground. Soon enough, the lightning gradually took on a new hue, transforming into a golden lightning dragon.

”!!!”

At this moment, what Allen felt was a threat unlike anything he had ever experienced in his life.

Death crept into his heart like a shadow—yet it only drove him to roar.

”C’MON! RIEZEL BRYNHART!”

Amid Allen’s roar, he accelerated one final time.

”AS YOU WISH!”

Riezel also transformed into a golden lightning bolt, surging forward like a lightning dragon.

”Thunder Breathing - Seventh Form...”

Riezel’s golden lightning dragon surged forward in an instant, arriving before Allen’s chariot of light.

”God of Fire Thunder!”

{Note: Changed ”Flaming Thunder God” to ”God of Fire Thunder”}

In an instant, the fastest strike in the world bloomed within that golden lightning dragon, slashing toward the cat beastman wrapped in silver-blue light.

”...”

In that moment, all sound vanished, and several seconds later, the earth finally trembled.
