Looking Forward to Another World

Outside the city gate of the Labyrinth City, Orario, usually filled with people coming and going in a constant flow, was completely occupied by a group on this day.

They were a group of amazonesses.

All of them had bronze skin exposed to the air, were dressed in revealing clothing, and carried themselves with alluring charm. Some had slender yet full figures, radiating mature appeal, while others were petite and delicate, very cute and pretty, possessing a different kind of attraction.

Such an enchanting group of warriors, each with her own beauty, standing together formed an extremely eye-catching scene, causing countless people to forget to look away, some even unable to continue walking.

Yet despite how enchanting they were, none of these amazonesses was easy to deal with.

Some people stepped forward to strike up conversations, only to be knocked unconscious and thrown aside, piled into a heap. Others came to provoke them, but were beaten until covered in injuries, collapsing miserably onto the ground before being dragged away.

They occupied the main road in front of the city gate just like that, and no matter who tried to pass, they were forcefully and unreasonably driven back.

Naturally, many familias within Orario received the news and came here to make contact with these amazonesses, but without exception, all of them suffered setbacks, ending up in a sorry state and losing all face.

Under these circumstances, as time passed, more and more people gathered at the city gate. Not only could the Guild not stop it, and the members of the Ganesha Familia were unable to hold back the growing crowd of onlookers, but even the gods who came to watch the spectacle were already in a state of chaos.

It should be known that Orario had strict restrictions on entry and exit. In order to avoid loss of the city’s combat power, entry was generally allowed while exit was heavily restricted. Now, however, so many people and even gods ignored advice and management, rushing outside, already causing a significant disturbance.

But the greater disturbance was still caused by the amazonesses occupying the main road.

Because of them, Orario’s passage had been severely affected, leading to continuous unrest.

Even more alarming was that these amazonesses possessed astonishing strength. Even adventurers dispatched by a large familia with a rank as high as A could not drive them away and were instead easily defeated.

They were also completely unreasonable and impossible to communicate with, as no matter who approached, all were treated the same and knocked down.

As time went on, some of these amazonesses even began to intrude into the city, causing disturbances on the streets and even capturing some adventurers, fully embodying the meaning of ’lawless.’

No matter who they faced, they would only throw out a single sentence in clearly unpolished common speech:

”Have the Loki Familia come out.”

Yes, this was the situation.

Hence, the disturbance grew larger and larger, eventually alarming nearly 90% of the familias in Orario. As a result, a large number of gods and adventurers rushed here—some formed a human wall atop the city walls, chattering as they watched, while others gathered outside, forming a noisy crowd, pointing and discussing the group of amazonesses.

Especially those gods who loved a good spectacle—by now, through unknown means, they had already figured out the identities of these amazonesses.

Through their spread of information, terms such as the ’Country of Blood and Fighting,’ ’Telskyura,’ ’Kali Familia,’ and the ’Amazoness’ Holy Land’ began to circulate among the crowd.

Only then did everyone realize that this group of amazonesses had a significant background—they were actually one of the world’s powers. Although they came from a place without a dungeon, among them were two Level 6 elites whose strength was in no way inferior to any member of the major familias within Orario.

For those from Orario, this was astonishing.

”Two Level 6s...”

”Only two familias in all of Orario got First-Class Adventurers at that level...”

”Freya Familia’s got three, and Loki Familia used to have three...”

”Kali Familia actually has two. If they were in Orario, they might even kinda suppress Ganesha Familia.”

Only then did people understand why so many familias and individuals who had approached these amazonesses had all been beaten back without exception.

A familia with two Level 6 members at its core—such power and strength could likely only be handled by Orario’s two strongest familias.

Coincidentally, it seemed the other side had come specifically for one of those two.

As a result, no one was in a hurry to leave anymore—everyone stayed, waiting to watch the show.

”Hey, the Loki Familia’s here!”

At a certain moment, as someone shouted this, countless onlookers immediately turned their heads toward the city gate.

Over there, a group surged out with imposing momentum.

It was none other than the Loki Familia, who had arrived upon hearing the news.

At the front were the well-known executives of the Loki Familia.

”Braver, Nine Hell, Elgarm!”

”Sword Princess and Vanargand are here too!”

”Yo, the newly promoted First-Class Adventurers High Novice and Alchat are here too!”

”And that one...”

”Liberator!”

In an instant, the crowd erupted into noise, excitement, and anticipation.

At the city gate, many people quickly stepped aside, allowing the members of the Loki Familia to pass through the crowd and reach the main road, where they stopped about ten meters away from the Kali Familia.

In that moment, their gazes met, and the air immediately filled with tension.

The difference was that the members of the Kali Familia each radiated a battle-hungry aura, their eyes fixed on the Loki Familia like predators staring at prey.

Meanwhile, the members of the Loki Familia wore cold expressions, their faces unfriendly—especially Bete, whose eyes already held a fierce glint, as if he might charge forward and start a fight at any moment.

Ais and Riveria continued scanning the amazonesses across from them, as if searching for something.

Gareth stood with his arms crossed in front of Raul, his expression steady.

Anakitty stood behind Riezel, also with her arms crossed, her tail swaying constantly behind her.

Riezel stood among the group, not in a prominent position, yet at this moment, many people around him directed their gazes toward him, and even the amazonesses across the way did the same.

Especially the two women standing at the center of the amazonesses—almost immediately, they fixed their attention on Riezel. One’s eyes lit up as she extended her long tongue to lick her lips, while the other stared intently, her limbs tensed.

”Argana Kalif...”

Riezel first looked at the amazoness who was staring straight at him, as if she wanted to devour him whole.

”Bache Kalif...”

Right after, Riezel met the gaze of the veiled amazoness who was also watching him intently.

In Man-Made Dungeon Knossos, Riezel had already seen these two before, but at that time, he had already begun fighting Revis, and the two of them had immediately gone after Tiona and Tione upon arrival, not paying him any attention at all.

Given that, strictly speaking, this was the first time both sides had faced each other like this.

However, it seemed these amazonesses had come specifically for him, which made Riezel frown slightly without showing it.

Immediately after, something stirred in his mind.

Riezel turned in another direction and looked over to a relatively remote corner located atop the city wall.

Six figures had appeared there at some unknown time.

While concealing themselves, they still emitted a faint yet unmistakable presence that could not be ignored, as they coldly observed everything here.

Riezel recognized their identities at once.

A white elf with golden, silk-like long hair and porcelain skin.

A dark elf with short silver-purple hair and bronze skin.

And four pallums of identical height and appearance, each equipped with a greatsword, battle axe, giant hammer, and spear, respectively.

Hildrsleif!

Dainsleif!

Bringar!

Clearly, the First-Class Adventurers of the Freya Familia—aside from the ’Orario’s strongest’ and ’Orario’s fastest’—had all arrived!

It was easy to imagine just how massive this disturbance had become, which, in fact, couldn’t be helped.

”Are you Argana Kalif?”

Finn was the first to speak, breaking the silence as he addressed Argana, who stood among the amazonesses.

He was the captain of the Loki Familia, and since the other side had come for the Loki Familia, it was only natural that he would step forward first to confront the opposing captain face-to-face.

Argana Kalif was the strongest amazoness of Telskyura, the captain of the Kali Familia, and the elder sister of Bache.

”Yeah, that’s me.”

Argana stepped forward as well, replying to Finn in unpolished common speech.

”What is the meaning of this?”

Finn, abandoning his usual calm composure, directed a sharp gaze and tone at Argana.

Anyone could see that this demeanor made it clear that the renowned Braver was in a very bad mood.

However, Argana showed complete disdain toward the pallum captain, who was now Level 7, casting him a contemptuous glance while continuing to speak in her unrefined common speech.

”I have no interest in weak pallum. Have Riezel Brynhart come out.”

As soon as these words were spoken, the entire place erupted into noise, especially the members of the Loki Familia—they were instantly enraged, nearly rushing forward.

No one had expected that someone would address Braver, a Level 7, with such contempt and disregard.

Still, this was precisely the prejudice the world held toward pallums.

In the eyes of most, pallums were weak, small, and naturally cowardly, which could not be said to be entirely wrong. Due to their small stature, pallums generally lacked high ability and natural talent, making them either weak or timid, belonging to a very inconspicuous and fragile race.

Beast-humans had exceptional senses, dwarves possessed powerful physiques, elves were a race naturally gifted in magic, amazonesses were battle-loving warrior women, and even humans produced heroes in great numbers, often with remarkable talent and sharp intellect—every race had its own distinct strengths.

Only pallums had never possessed any particularly outstanding racial ability, and the only thing worth mentioning was their relatively good eyesight, which was hardly useful.

Among the many races of the Lower World, pallums had always been a race that was bullied and oppressed. Because of this, there were very few legendary tales related to pallums—one could even say almost none—and it was rare for renowned heroes to emerge from their race.

As a result, many people looked down on pallums, and amazonesses were among them.

For a group that revered strength and loved battle, cowardly pallums were nothing more than targets of scorn.

Of course, the people of Orario would never look down on Finn.

He was Braver, Finn Deimne, hailed as the hope and hero of the pallums.

Now, his status as a Level 7 adventurer was his greatest honor and the best proof.

Unfortunately, as outsiders from beyond Orario, the amazonesses of Telskyura had little understanding of the famed Braver, which was why Argana displayed such an attitude.

”Riezel.”

Finn, however, was already used to it.

Because of his identity as a pallum, he had been underestimated like this many times in the past and even now, so being slighted by Argana did not change his expression in the slightest.

Instead of anger, he simply called Riezel’s name in a calm voice.

Riezel, in response, had the slight furrow in his brows deepen, but he still stepped forward, coming to Finn’s side.

”I know you, Argana Kalif,” Riezel said flatly. ”Since you wanna talk to me, I won’t waste time—where are Tiona and Tione? And where are the rest of our companions that you captured?”

Yes.

It was not only Tiona and Tione—the Kali Familia had also captured other members of the Loki Familia, something that had happened not long ago.

While blocking the main road leading to Orario, the Kali Familia had also sent people into the city, causing chaos in the streets and capturing members of the Loki Familia who happened to be there at the time.

Needless to say, this was a clearly hostile act and a provocation.

Facing one of Orario’s strongest familias, the Kali Familia showed no fear and acted without restraint.

And that was precisely why even the usually collected Finn was in a bad mood.

”Don’t worry,” Argana said casually, ignoring the cold and furious stares from the members of Loki Familia. ”They’re here.”

As she spoke, several amazonesses behind Argana escorted a group of people forward.

”Wuwuwu!”

”Mphmm!”

Upon seeing Riezel and the others, the captured members of the Loki Familia immediately struggled.

”Tiona! Tione!”

Ais called out instinctively.

Among the captured members, Tiona and Tione were indeed present.

However, like the others, their mouths were stuffed with cloth, preventing them from speaking, and their bodies were bound in chains.

Riezel recognized at a glance that they were mithril chains.

Bound by such chains, even First-Class Adventurers would find it difficult to break free. If the restrained person used magic, the highly conductive refined metal would immediately react, causing the bound area to explode along with the chain.

Hence, whether it was Tiona or Tione, both could only struggle in place—one with her face flushed red, the other with eyes full of fury, as if she wanted to tear a piece of flesh off Argana.

Seeing this, Riezel instead felt relieved that at least the two of them were unharmed.
