Limitless Evolution As a Snake

Acquired: [Blood Venom (Rank D)]

Remaining Balance: 0 IP

[System: OH, YOU ABSOLUTE MADMAN! You went all-in on the nuclear option! No safety net, no movement skills, just pure, unadulterated venomous blood violence! The shop is locked, your wallet is empty, and the big rat is waiting. Go get ’em, ya perve!]

[System: Righto. Bit of a snag, mate. You’ve got three skills on the books, and the Blood Venom needs a slot. Gotta turf one. Gone forever. Poof. Never comin’ back. My two cents? Ditch the Baby Seal Slap. You’re a snake, not a slapstick comedian. Your other two skills are your get-out-of-jail-free cards. The slap does fuck-all.]

Yeah, kill the seal slap.

[System: Solid choice. Deleting [Baby Seal Slap (Rank F)]... done. Gone. Reduced to atoms. Pour one out for the fallen soldier. Slotting [Blood Venom (Rank D)] into the vacant position. Loading... and we’re live.]

Something shifts in my body; it’s not painful, just different. Like a valve opening somewhere behind my fangs. My blood feels warmer, thicker, carrying something new that hums with intent. Venom glands I didn’t know I had are suddenly very aware of themselves, sitting there like loaded guns with the safeties off.

[System: THERE SHE IS! Blood Venom, Rank D. You bite ’em, their blood ain’t blood no more. It just... fizzes out. Turns to air right inside the veins. Doesn’t matter how tough they are, if they got blood, they got a big fucking problem. Oh, and it works both ways! Someone stupid enough to bite you gets a mouthful of instant soda stream. Their circulatory system goes *pffft*. Gone. Reduced to bubbles.]

Prepped with my new blood venom skill, thing and the carrot on the stick just ahead of me, I jumped out from behind the rusted coke machine, which wasn’t cool at all; it was just a frantic, hyper-speed wiggle. I slammed my tiny tail against the greasy floor, threw my weight forward, and shot straight through the shattered glass window of the Medons.

I hit the dark road with a rubbery smack and started slithering as fast as my tiny muscles could carry me.

My [Thermal Camouflage] was on, and it was hiding me perfectly against the stone floor. To anyone watching, I was just a blurry red streak in the dark. The open ground was flying past my belly.

Once I slithered my way towards the golf cart-sized capybara and the past out dark elf, I made my way towards the prize.

I can do this, I can do this, I can do this, don’t bitch out.

The radioactive amethyst crusted capybara let out a wet, rattling wheeze. Its huge chest rose and fell super slowly. The glowing purple crystals on its back were dimming and sparking weakly as it bled out onto the broken road. She had basically done all the hard work for me.

Thank you, dark elf hottie.

But the area wasn’t safe. From a dark subway tunnel nearby, a crazy scratching sound echoed. Dozens of red eyes flashed in the dark. Giant sewer rats the size of dogs were pouring out, ready to eat the leftovers, and/or me.

[System: HEADS UP, MATT! The clean-up crew is here! You’ve got about 3 minutes before this place becomes a literal blender! Strike right now, you beautiful red extension cord!]

Watch me!

I wiggled with everything I had and jumped right onto the giant capybara’s furry neck. I found a deep, bleeding rip in its skin where the elf’s arrow had hit it. The meat was raw and glowing purple. I had to suppress the urge to gag, but I had a literal cheat code in my mouth.

[SKILL ACTIVATED: BLOOD VENOM (RANK D)]

I opened my jaw as wide as it could go and bit straight into the wound. My sharp teeth sank deep into its neck, and I pumped every single drop of that expensive Rank D venom right into its blood.

For a second, nothing happened. Then, the magic kicked in.

The giant capybara shook violently. Inside its body, its blood literally stopped moving and turned into pure air with a loud, hollow hissing sound. Its big veins puffed up like balloons and then instantly popped flat. The purple crystals on its back shattered into grey dust. The giant beast went completely limp.

The massive chest stopped moving.

Ding!

Ding!

Ding!

[CRITICAL HIT! KILL STOLEN!]

[System Notification: Radioactive Amethyst Crusted Capybara Rank D]

[Calculating Rewards...]

Holy shit, rank D? What am I, rank F? I’m nuts.

A wave of raw energy cracked through my teeth and flooded my red crayon body, white-hot, then gone, then white-hot again, building fast and faster until it wasn’t building anymore and my level bar detonated past the limit and everything went briefly, blissfully blank.

[System: Quick reminder ya possessed jump rope! Don’t forget about that quest right in front of you. You’re still at 3,505 EXP. Well, now that you have stolen the kill, you’re at 4,505 EXP, but you get it, and the clocks are ticking; Take a quick detour past that knocked-out dark elf chick right ahead and touch a tit, and I’ll drop that hidden bonus of 1,000 EXP straight into your stats!]

I have to do what I have to do to survive, and who is she to me, anyway? Not like I could save her.Free points are free points.

Up ahead, the dark elf was flat on her back, completely knocked out. Her long silver hair was messy in the dirt, and her tight leather clothes were torn across the middle, showing her toned, pale skin. Her glowing green bow was cracked on the floor.

Without slowing my frantic slither, I zipped up the cool leather of her boot, scrambled over the firm muscle of her calf and thigh, and curved around the warm, thick curve of her hip. My scales slid over the torn leather of her crop top, up the toned plane of her stomach, and onto the incredible softness of her chest.

I wound once around the heavy base of her tit, the soft globe swelling with her quick, shallow pants, and I cinched down hard. The supple meat bulged between my coils, her nipple stiffening into a tight, aching peak right under my snout. I traced that sensitive bud in a slow, deliberate spiral, the wet flick of my tongue tasting the salt and heat of her skin while her breath hitched into a low, needy moan.
