Invincible Snake Emperor

Chapter 631: Chapter 602: The Old Geezer’s Declaration of War

Su Rushi was born with a Taiyin Cold Body, possessing an extremely heavy Cold Yin Qi. She was a real-life ice mountain beauty. Tu Xiao’an, on the other hand, was a master of the Frost Element.

He was unafraid of her Cold Yin Qi and could even turn it from a detriment into a marvel. They were truly a match made in heaven.

The first time he absorbed the Cold Yin Qi from Su Rushi’s body, it had caused the Power of his Ice Frost Qi to soar. This time, as a continuous stream of Cold Yin Qi was absorbed by him, the capacity of the Ice Frost Qi within his body surged relentlessly. The feeling was incredible.

It was like money was endlessly falling from the sky, filling his pockets fuller and fuller.

”This Snake King has really grown to love you, girl.”

Tu Xiao’an couldn’t help but let out a pleased groan. His Ice Frost Power was once again advancing by leaps and bounds, its might skyrocketing. He could probably freeze an entire small river solid if he wished, turning it into three feet of ice.

The best demonstration of this was that he could now likely face a clone of Taotie and directly use his Ice Frost Power to create an Ice Seal, the kind that would trap it completely, making it impossible to break out.

Time flew by. The frost covering Su Rushi’s body gradually vanished, like flowers blooming in the warmth of spring. Her stunning, sleeping face was now rosy, and her delicate body was no longer trembling. She slept with a serene and peaceful expression, as beautiful as an angel.

After completely absorbing all the excess Cold Yin Qi that had built up inside Su Rushi, Tu Xiao’an also drifted off to sleep without realizing it.

「The next day」

The sun shone brightly. When Su Rushi woke up, she was full of energy, her face radiant and rosy. She was like a budding flower, ready to bloom in all her beauty.

”I slept so well last night,” Su Rushi said, her eyes fluttering open as if she were still in a dream.

It had been several days since she returned to Wencheng, and she hadn’t slept so soundly once. She touched her own skin, which was as fair as snow, and found that it was warm, not ice-cold.

Su Rushi said in surprise, ”My Cold Yin Qi didn’t act up?”

Her grandfather had said her Cold Yin Qi was already starting to boil over. Su Rushi knew better than anyone that her body was starting to cause trouble again.

And yet, she had slept very comfortably. She gave a lazy stretch, pulling a large section of the blanket away. In that instant, Su Rushi’s delicate body trembled, and her face suddenly bloomed like a white orchid, a smile written all over it.

There, nestled obediently under her pillow, was a small, exquisite snake shimmering with a radiant luster. It was curled into a small ball, looking utterly adorable.

”Wow, Xiaoleng...” Su Rushi was overjoyed. No wonder she had slept so well. It was her pet snake! He must have returned from his gallivanting sometime during the night and silently fallen asleep beside her.

Su Rushi stared blankly at the small, exquisite snake shimmering in its sleep. Suddenly, a blush crept up her stunning cheeks. She hesitated, lying in bed, feeling a little flustered.

Things were different now. Her pet snake was a Demon capable of Transformation. He had even revealed his human form to her before—that of a young man. Su Rushi clearly remembered what the little snake looked like after his Transformation: refreshing hair, a handsome face, bewitching and profound eyes, and a faint, devilish smile.

This was the very same transforming Snake who had snatched her right out of the White Demon King’s grasp.

He was like a peerless hero who had saved her from dire straits. But... Su Rushi blushed furiously. Was he still the same pet snake she had picked up off the street?

Could they still interact like they used to?

Yet the little snake before her was lying there quietly, looking no different from when she had first found him.

Ah...!

Su Rushi suddenly let out another shy cry. The little snake’s eyes opened—his Snake Gaze—and flashed with a light so brilliant one dared not look at it directly.

Her blush deepened, and her eyes darted about without focus. She unconsciously fiddled with the hem of her pajamas. She wanted to speak but didn’t know what to say, her lips opening and closing without a sound, looking as amusing as a goldfish.

This posture of hers was so breathtakingly beautiful that it left the newly awakened Tu Xiao’an dumbfounded.

’What is this girl doing? Trying to seduce me first thing in the morning?’

Tu Xiao’an’s thoughts ran wild, shameless and unrestrained. But damn it, he was in his snake form right now and couldn’t do anything.

The vow he had carelessly made to that old geezer was now bound by the system. No matter what, Tu Xiao’an didn’t dare use his Transformation in front of Su Rushi again.

One Transformation and he’d immediately drop by three Ranks. He couldn’t afford that.

”You, you, um... get off the bed.” After a long moment, Su Rushi finally mustered the courage to speak, her words stumbling out. She squeezed her eyes shut again as the tips of her ears turned cherry-red, and she had no idea what to do with her hands and feet.

Her face was as red as a ripe apple, as if she were the one who had done something immoral.

But there was no helping it. This Snake was a Demon capable of Transformation. Su Rushi really couldn’t bring herself to be as open and unreserved with him as she had been before, when she’d had nothing to hide.

The moment she thought about how this transforming Snake had seen every single inch of her, an unmarried maiden, without any obstruction, the young woman felt like she could just die of embarrassment.

”I won’t,” Tu Xiao’an’s Snake Gaze flickered with amusement as he watched the girl before him, who was as flustered as a startled bird.

’We’re so... *intimate* already. What’s there to be shy about?’

Su Rushi didn’t get angry. A blush just deepened on her face. She blinked her beautiful eyes, took a deep breath, and seemed to calm herself down. ”When did you get into my bed?”

*Get into my bed?*

The moment the words left her mouth, Su Rushi managed to embarrass herself all over again. She bowed her lovely head deeply, secretly relieved that he had appeared in his small snake form. If he had been lying beside her after his Transformation, she would have wanted the ground to swallow her whole.
