Immortality Through Array Formations

Chapter 2060  Chapter 983: A Deity Preaching the Dao

Lord Yellow Mountain looked suspiciously at Mo Hua.

Counting back, it had been several years since he last saw Mo Hua.

Just now, because of the excitement over the matter of the Lifebound Divine Statue, he was overwhelmed with gratitude, and for a moment felt that Mo Hua radiated an aura as majestic as a dragon and phoenix, unmatched in beauty, emitting golden light all over.

But upon closer inspection now, Lord Yellow Mountain found that this seemed not to be his ”illusion.”

Mo Huaʼs Divine Thought did indeed faintly radiate golden light.

This kind of golden light could only be seen by deities.

And Mo Huaʼs Divine Sense was even more obscure and hidden than before, as deep as the sea.

The stronger the Divine Sense, the harder it is to perceive.

An almost absurd speculation arose in Lord Yellow Mountainʼs mind.

”Little friend, you...” Lord Yellow Mountain hesitated.

”What is it?” Mo Hua asked.

After pondering for a moment, Lord Yellow Mountain shook his head, ”Nothing...”

He dared not voice his suspicion.

There is a fundamental difference between humans and deities.

To walk the path of deification with a mortal body of flesh, this is a huge taboo.

Such a person would face a great calamity.

If this secret were to leak out, it would inevitably bring about divine disaster, attracting the covetous eyes of many deities across heaven and earth, even leading to obliteration.

Deification through flesh is the ”blasphemous” path.

And for mundane cultivators to walk the path of deification is fraught with deadly peril.

One misstep, and they would fall into the path of evil, becoming a malformed evil god of flesh, with malevolent thoughts spreading across the land like a plague.

In Lord Yellow Mountainʼs long memory, besides some Ancient Cultivators with unparalleled talent in divine thoughts, no one had ever walked this path.

And those cultivators who walked this path in the past could hardly be considered ”human.”

Lord Yellow Mountain gazed deeply at Mo Hua.

He was very sure that Mo Hua was indeed ”human” composed of flesh.

No matter how strong his Divine Thought was, he was fundamentally still a person.

Moreover, he was full of humanity, with a steadfast Taoist Heart and a vibrant spirit.

The more Lord Yellow Mountain looked, the more uneasy he felt, but he said nothing, instead silently pressing his suspicions to the depths of his heart.

He even forced himself to forget about it.

Mo Hua had a huge benevolence towards him.

If the path Mo Hua was taking was truly the ”path of deified transformation,” then it must not be spoken of.

It was best if he did not know about it from the start.

Yet Lord Yellow Mountain wasnʼt entirely at ease, his gaze flickering as he hinted to Mo Hua:

”There is a fundamental difference between humans and deities.”

”Between humans and deities, there is the Great Daoʼs Heavenly Chasm, with clear boundaries.”

”At any time, this boundary must not be broken; otherwise, it will certainly lead to great calamities and disasters...”

Mo Hua was taken aback, immediately understanding Lord Yellow Mountainʼs implication, nodding to show he understood.

Only then did Lord Yellow Mountain breathe a sigh of relief, continuing:

”Cultivators cultivate Spiritual Power, with a transformation at each realm. First Grade Qi Refinement, Spiritual Power is like mist; Second Grade Foundation Establishment, Spiritual Power is like mercury; Third Grade Golden Core, Spiritual Power crystallizes...”

”But the Divine Sense of cultivators doesnʼt undergo such transformations.”

”From First Grade to Second Grade, Divine Thought doubles, and itʼs the same thereafter; the Divine Thought of cultivators only increases in quantity, without qualitative change.”

”This qualitative change in Divine Thought belongs to deities.”

”First Grade deity, Telekinesis is like mist; Second Grade deity, Telekinesis is like mercury; Third Grade deity, Telekinesis crystallizes...”

”This is the ʼmorphological changeʼ of the deitiesʼ Telekinesis, a change in the form of Telekinesis.”

”Apart from morphological change, the Telekinesis of deities also undergoes another layer of ʼqualitative change,ʼ which is the ʼdeified transformationʼ of Divine Thought.”

”The Innate Great Dao evolves, nurturing and producing Divine Marrow, the rarer the Divine Marrow is, the deeper the deified transformation, the truer the Origin, the higher the level, the stronger the Law.”

”High-tier deities, with powerful Origins, possess profound ʼdeified transformationʼ power, even able to break through the limitations of the deity realm, transcending realms to slay celestial gods...”

...

Lord Yellow Mountain gradually explained the divine secrets to Mo Hua.

This entire set of divine knowledge was much more complete than before.

It was the result of merging with his Lifebound Divine Statue and awakening some lost memories.

There was another part of divine knowledge that Lord Yellow Mountain had not mentioned before.

It was because he had never considered that this ancient and clever little cultivator of the Human Race, Mo Hua, might very well be walking the path of breaking the Great Daoʼs taboo with ”deified transformation.”

But now the situation was different.

Lord Yellow Mountain concluded that this knowledge would surely be useful to Mo Hua, so he explained it in great detail.

And after listening, Mo Hua greatly benefited.

In a sense, this was a true ”impartation of divine knowledge.”

Although Lord Yellow Mountain was down on his luck now, he was once a peak Third Grade Mountain God, rich in experience and history, with profound foundations and terrifying strength.

Otherwise, the Great Wilderness Evil God would not have gone through such lengths to covet his Divine Body and Taoist Field.

That he could impart knowledge to Mo Hua was very precious.

This kind of ”personal transmission” of divine knowledge was, in a sense, also a ”taboo” of the divine.

Very few people might know about it.

Even someone like Elder Master Xun from the Heaven Void Realm probably wouldnʼt be clear on it.

After all, Elder Master Xun did not have a ”deity” friend to drink and chat with.

”Thank you, Mountain Lord,” Mo Hua bowed in gratitude.

”No need to be so formal, little friend,” Lord Yellow Mountain sighed.

Recalling the Lifebound Divine Statue was an enormous favor, and he would struggle to repay it, even if he tried endlessly; sharing some divine secrets was really not much.

And after listening to Lord Yellow Mountainʼs teachings, the framework for divine progress in Mo Huaʼs mind became clearer.

He was now half human, half deity, stuck in between.

The two frameworks of divine progress were mixed, so certain general divine concepts did not apply to him.
