Immortality Through Array Formations

Chapter 1843: Chapter 912: Toying With Them

He threw this question to Elder You again.

Elder You furrowed his eyebrows, pondered for a moment, and slowly said:

”Then...send Lao Ba out to execute the Sect’s mission, and afterward, leak this intelligence to the Taoist Court to see if the Taoist Court will be ruthless enough to kill Lao Ba?”

”If the Taoist Court takes lethal action, it means Lao Ba is not the mole. And if he dies at the hands of the Taoist Court, we won’t have to do it ourselves, and it maintains our brotherhood, giving him a dignified end. I won’t pursue past matters.”

”Conversely, if the Taoist Court spares his life...then it shows that Lao Ba indeed has a problem, and he truly is the ’mole’!”

Mo Hua nodded.

This Elder You, truly has a style of his own, playing the trick of killing with a borrowed knife very skillfully.

Mo Hua said, ”I don’t quite understand this matter, so I’ll leave it to Elder You. But if the Eighth Elder is indeed the mole, then my task is also completed, and I want my reward.”

He maintained an attitude of business as usual.

”Of course, Mr. Yuan has helped us greatly, we certainly won’t shortchange the gentleman...”

In the bloody stone chamber, Elder You displayed a playful smile.

”Then thank you, Elder You.”

In the elegant Disciple’s Residence of Taixu Gate, the corners of Mo Hua’s mouth curved into a slight smile.

...

Thereafter, all plans were arranged by Elder You.

Amidst the Taoist Court’s relentless crackdown on the Demon Sect, a sudden and inexplicable mission was assigned to the Eighth Elder within the Demon Sect.

Strictly speaking, this task wasn’t solely for the Eighth Elder, but since the order was issued from above, he couldn’t refuse.

Moreover, Elder You’s investigation was extremely covert.

The Eighth Elder had no awareness that his actions had already been exposed.

Then, under the meticulous design of Mo Hua and Elder You, he naturally walked right into the Taoist Court’s ambush.

Seeing the heavy forces of the Taoist Court, the Eighth Elder felt a chill in his heart as he prepared for a desperate fight.

But what he didn’t expect was that the usually relentless Taoist Court oddly showed mercy.

Gu Changhuai and others only symbolically exchanged a few moves with him and did not go for the kill.

The Eighth Elder easily escaped the encirclement of the Taoist Court, momentarily feeling like he was in a dream and found it somewhat hard to believe.

Just as he was feeling fortunate for having escaped unscathed, the Elder’s Token vibrated.

Someone ”anonymously” sent him a message:

”Your deeds have been exposed, Elder You has set a trap to kill you, flee quickly.”

Attached was a string of evidence of him embezzling Blood Pills, hoarding blood slaves, and taking kickbacks.

Each of these crimes was punishable by death within the Demon Sect.

The Eighth Elder’s face turned deathly pale in an instant.

Meanwhile, just after sending the anonymous message to the Eighth Elder, Mo Hua turned and sent another message to Elder You:

”There have been changes, I’m monitoring the Eighth Elder’s Elder’s Token...”

”Just now, someone suddenly sent the Eighth Elder a message, informing him that things have been exposed and telling him to flee.”

”You must quickly dispatch a Golden Core Elder to hunt him down and silence him, or else the consequences will be endless...”

After sending the message, Mo Hua silently counted in his heart.

One Eighth Elder on the run.

Then a Golden Core Demon hunting the Eighth Elder.

In this way, adding up to two Golden Cores is just enough for me to break through the realm.

Of course, he didn’t mind if Elder You sent more Golden Core Demons to hunt down the Eighth Elder.

However many come, he will ”consume” that many...

Mo Hua squinted his eyes, a little smile playing at the corners of his mouth.
