Immortality Through Array Formations

Chapter 1836: Chapter 910: An Unfair Victory (Part 3)

Taixu Gate ranks among the Eight Great Gates.

Naturally, they dared not withhold the inheritance of Taixu Gate, nor dared they offend the Late Golden Core Stage Sword Cultivation Elder of Taixu Gate.

Moreover, the present Taixu Gate, after the Three Sects Unification, is different in both influence and prestige compared to before.

Gu Changhuai cupped his hands at this moment and said, ”The Taoist Court must follow the procedures, please forgive me, Elder Xun.”

”However, these things... are originally the inheritance of Taixu Gate, it is only right for the Elder to take them back.”

The other two Supervisors, seeing Gu Changhuai say this, also remained silent.

Elder Xun glanced at Mo Hua, and Mo Hua nodded slightly.

Only then did Elder Xun nod and say, ”That’s good, then I’ll trouble you Supervisors.”

He thought for a moment and added, ”The only things stolen from my Taixu Gate are these formation media, the rest are this thief’s ’stolen goods’, which should naturally be handed over to the Taoist Court...”

Among these stolen goods, there were also quite a few spirit stones and spiritual objects. This was, in fact, the ”bonus” of the Taoist Court’s execution of tasks, an extra benefit.

Even without coveting the ”bonus”, converting it into ”merit points” would also be a considerable gain.

Leaving a margin, this principle, Elder Xun naturally understood.

Upon hearing this, the hearts of the other two Supervisors were indeed slightly comforted.

A little benefit was enough; as for the formations and the array plates, they didn’t quite understand, seeing them seemed all the same, so since they belonged to Taixu Gate, it’s only proper to let them take them.

Thus, a complete set of Thunder Magnetic Array Plates, along with several sets of Thunder Magnetism Formation, were openly moved back to Taixu Gate by Mo Hua under the pretext of ”sect lost items”.

”I need to inform the Ancestor about this.” Xun Ziyou said, ”Involving the Taoist Court, using the sect’s name, it needs to be reported.”

”Mm-hmm.” Mo Hua nodded.

Indeed, this matter had to be told to Elder Master Xun.

So Xun Ziyou took these plates and diagrams and went with Mo Hua to see Elder Master Xun.

Even Elder Master Xun was very surprised to see these things, ”Where did you get these fine items from?”

Xun Ziyou was taken aback.

These were merely some Second and Third Grade formations and array plates, he thought Mo Hua was just obtaining them for personal interest, but he didn’t expect that even the Ancestor of the Heaven Void would call them ”fine items”?

Seeing Xun Ziyou’s bewildered face, Elder Master Xun explained, ”These are...” As soon as he started, he realized this disciple was a formation blind, and explaining was a waste of time, like playing the lute to a cow, so he waved his hand, ”Go busy yourself.”

”Ancestor this...” Xun Ziyou smiled wryly.

”I understand, I know of it, you did well in this matter.” Elder Master Xun said.

Xun Ziyou was rarely praised by the Ancestor, feeling a bit flattered, knowingly said, ”Then I won’t disturb the Ancestor anymore.”

And then he took his leave.

After Xun Ziyou left, Elder Master Xun glanced at Mo Hua, frowned, and asked, ”Where did you get these things from?”

Mo Hua succinctly picked some things he could say and said them.

After all, he spoke rather cryptically and evasively, listening was one thing, but trusting was another, and Elder Master Xun was used to it.

Elder Master Xun pondered for a moment, ”It’s best you don’t learn this thing.”

Mo Hua honestly said, ”Elder, I have nothing to learn in formations...”

Elder Master Xun was momentarily ”stumped”, and even felt a little ashamed.

No formations to learn...

Mo Hua, a disciple in the Foundation Building Middle Stage, in the esteemed Taixu Gate, complained about having nothing to learn in formations...

”Sigh...” Elder Master Xun sighed, waving his hand, ”Forget it, learn if you want...”

This child was very curious, and if he truly wanted to learn, even Elder Master Xun couldn’t stop him.

”But you must understand, what the Thunder Magnetism Formation truly signifies, once learned, you must absolutely not let others know, or it might bring lethal consequences.”

”The cause and effect on you are already significant, and learning the Thunder Magnetism Formation might lead to countless people wanting to harm you in the future.”

Elder Master Xun said with a solemn expression.

Mo Hua nodded, seriously saying, ”Elder, I understand.”

His inheritance was already greater than the Thunder Magnetism Formation, and he could not reveal it.

Even his uncle’s ”Heavenly Secret Tricky Calculation”, ”Planting Devil in Taoist Heart”, he has secretly learned a little.

Thunder Magnetism Formation is actually nothing, too many lice, and it doesn’t itch.

Elder Master Xun finally nodded.

”About these Formation Diagrams and Array Plates...” Mo Hua asked softly.

Elder Master Xun flicked his sleeve, wiping away some Cause and Effect from the Thunder Magnetic Array Diagram and Array Plate, saying:

”You’ve said it yourself; this is the legacy of my Taixu Gate. Take them, study well, just make sure no one else finds out.”

Mo Hua replied joyfully, ”Yes!”

With Elder Master Xun’s backing, Mo Hua confidently and boldly moved all these Thunder Magnetic Array Plates, along with a series of intricate Formation media, to the Disciple’s Residence.

Additionally, there was a storage bag full of Formation Diagrams.

After returning to the Disciple’s Residence, Mo Hua began to inventory the gains from this trip.

First, this Thunder Magnetic Array Plate.

With jade as its base, bordered in red gold, and etched with silver patterns, it was covered with Magnetic Patterns and linked to various intricate structures, the kind of Formation media Mo Hua had never seen before, clearly very expensive.

Additionally, there were as many as four Thunder Magnetic Array Diagrams.

Including the ”Thunder Magnetic Introduction Array Map,” ”Thunder Magnetic Introduction Map,” ”Thunder Magnetic Annotation Map,” and ”Thunder Magnetic Defense and Attack Initial Resolution Map.”

However, many of these diagrams were incomplete, as if that black-robed Formation Master tried to destroy them before dying but didn’t finish the job.

Mo Hua turned to see that the Thunder Magnetic Array Plate also showed some deformities.

It seemed that the Formation Master wanted to destroy this Plate as well before dying but couldn’t bring himself to do it.

This Array Plate was truly the lifelong effort of the Thunder Magnetic Array Master. He couldn’t bear to destroy it even in death, ultimately leaving it to Mo Hua.

Mo Hua glanced again at the Array Plate, flipped through the Formation Diagrams, and then discovered a problem.

These Formation Diagrams were all Third Grade, unlearnable for him.

The Array Plate was also of Third Grade, equally unusable for him.

But the strange part was that the Thunder Magnetic Formation crafted with the Array Plate as media contained both Second and Third Grades together, somewhat incongruous.

Overall, it was Third Grade, but the Formation eye and Core Array Pivot were Second Grade.

Just like...

Formation ”Frequency Reduction”?

Mo Hua was a bit perplexed, only able to speculate that a Formation Master at the Golden Core Realm found learning Third Grade Thunder Magnetic Arrays too challenging, thus downgrading the formation patterns, using a Second Grade Formation eye and Array Pivot to activate a Third Grade Formation.

”Is such a method possible?” Mo Hua frowned, ”How can one balance the structure of Second and Third Grades, resolve Spiritual Power conflicts, harmonize Pattern contradictions, and organize the direction of the Array Pivot?”

Unable to understand, Mo Hua decided to find someone to consult when he had time.

In his own view, such ”Frequency Reduction” in formations seemed rather ”useless,” yet he felt intuitively that this knowledge would surely prove immensely useful in the future.

Of course, for now, it’s still quite useless.

Below the Golden Core, he couldn’t depict Third Grade patterns, nor learn Third Grade formations.

Even reducing a Third Grade, mixed with a Second Grade Array Pivot, was still beyond him.

Therefore, although the gains this trip were immense, the Thunder Magnetic Array Plate and Diagrams, this entire legacy, were extremely rare, yet currently not very practical.

The only practical item was a Token.

The Token was not part of the Array Plate and Diagrams, and by rights, didn’t belong to the stolen ”legacy” of the Taixu Gate; it ought to be submitted to the Taoist Court.

It was secretly slipped into the storage bag by Uncle Gu.

Gu Changhuai was very familiar with Mo Hua and knew he always liked collecting Tokens, also aware that he could ”decipher” Letter Tokens to steal intelligence.

Thus at that time, Mo Hua had only stared at the Token for a moment, when Gu Changhuai understood instantly, discreetly hiding the Token in his sleeve, then slipping it into the storage bag along with the Formation Diagrams, handing it to Mo Hua.

”Uncle Gu is truly a Great Good Person!”

Mo Hua silently thought to himself.

Then he picked up the Token, examined it carefully, with his gaze growing increasingly bright.

This Token was stained with pitch-black blood, engraved with a ferocious demonic image, complex in patterns, similar to a previous Demon Sect Token but clearly of a higher level.

If Mo Hua guessed correctly, this Token should be a Demon Sect’s ”Guest Elder Token,” issued to ”Guest Elders,” possessing true ”Elder” level authority of a Token!

”At last...”

Mo Hua’s eyes narrowed slightly.

Previously, he had killed several Demon Sect Elders, but none had dropped an Elder’s Token. Now, finally, he had managed to obtain one!
