I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

While running at full speed, Nagi suddenly felt an enormous suction force coming from behind, pulling him continuously toward the rear.

The suction force was simply too strong. Even though Nagi released his Chakra and struggled with all his strength, it was still useless. He continued to be pulled backward without stopping.

He hugged a large tree, but the tree was uprooted along with him and continued flying backward. Everything was futile in the face of that enormous suction force.

Nagi finally understood Dalsi’s words a little. The Light Shinobi Village leader Yahiko was indeed not simple.

Just as Nagi was pulled to within half a meter of Nagato by Basho Tenin, Nagato once again released his Chakra.

”Shinra Tensei!”

Boom boom boom!!!

Nagi instantly felt the powerful suction force disappear, replaced by an even stronger repulsive force!

The powerful repulsive force struck Nagi and sent him flying at an even faster speed than when he had been pulled in. He crashed into the ground like a high-speed cannonball, creating a huge crater more than ten meters wide.

”Cough, cough.” Lying in the huge crater, Nagi could not help coughing up two mouthfuls of blood. At this moment, he felt as if all the bones in his body were about to fall apart, and everywhere hurt.

What Nagi was confused about now was how this Yahiko could be so strong. Two moves had left him lying on the ground, completely unable to fight back.

Clearly, even the Fourth Kazekage, one of the leaders of the Five Great Shinobi Villages, had not been his opponent, yet he was completely helpless against the leader of a small shinobi village.

This wasn’t ninja-like at all!

”You actually didn’t die. Looks like you have a little ability.” Nagato flew expressionlessly to the front of Nagi.

Nagi endured the pain and barely stood up, his body tense as he watched Nagato warily.

Only now did he realize that Dalsi had not exaggerated Yahiko’s strength at all. Everything he had said was based on what he had personally experienced.

”You were sent by the Chakra Technology Company, right? What exactly is your purpose in infiltrating my village?” Nagato’s cold gaze fixed on Nagi, causing Nagi to feel immense pressure.

Nagato knew Nagi because he had previously had Zetsu investigate that Chakra Technology Company.

A technology giant had suddenly emerged in a small country that was one of his planned targets. There was no way Nagato could not pay attention to it, so he sent White Zetsu to investigate. As expected, he discovered that this technology company was not simple.

’Damn it, how did he know my identity? Does he only know about the Chakra Technology Company, or does he even know about the organization?’ Nagi became flustered inside. He had not expected Nagato to expose his identity the moment he opened his mouth.

Although Nagi was also in the Chakra Technology Company, he did not hold a position that appeared publicly. Normally, no one should know of his existence unless someone had secretly investigated the Chakra Technology Company.

Nagi felt that both he and Lord Jigen had underestimated the Light Shinobi Village. This shinobi village was extremely unusual.

”What are you talking about? I was simply curious about this newly established shinobi village, so I came to take a look because of its reputation.” Nagi pretended to be stupid.

”You can choose to keep pretending to be stupid, but I don’t have time to waste with an idiot. I’ll give you one chance. Reorganize your words.” Nagato slowly raised his hand, as if he would attack again in the next moment and kill Nagi.

Nagato originally wanted to see whether he could use Nagi as a connection to establish cooperation with the Chakra Technology Company.

The achievements released by the Chakra Technology Company were so innovative that even Nagato was impressed. Sasori had also always wanted to obtain the latest Chakra technology to improve his Human Puppets.

If he could cooperate with the Chakra Technology Company, Nagato felt that it would greatly help increase the strength of the small shinobi villages under his command.

Moreover, since the Chakra Technology Company had already sent someone to the Light Shinobi Village, they might have discovered something. Even if he killed Nagi, he would still have to deal with the problem of the Chakra Technology Company in the end. The Chakra Technology Company’s reputation was currently too great. If he acted against them, it might cause them to be exposed prematurely.

But if Nagi insisted on seeking death, Nagato would not hold back. His goal was to change the entire shinobi world. How could he compromise because of a technology company?

Now, Nagato had completely digested the effects of the two previous absorptions, and his strength had reached a new level. He felt that aside from Fujiwara Nagasawa, whom he had never fought, no other shinobi in the shinobi world was worth fearing.

”Hu, hu.” Nagi breathed heavily, his forehead covered in cold sweat. He was suffering terribly at this moment.

Looking at Nagato’s completely emotionless eyes, he knew that Nagato was not trying to scare him. If he continued pretending to be stupid and testing Nagato, Nagato would really attack and kill him.

Nagi felt that Lord Jigen had treated them well. He had given him power and had not placed too many restrictions on him, so Nagi would certainly not betray Jigen.

But in the current situation, was it really worth dying stubbornly at Nagato’s hands?

Nagi felt that it was not. He had not even transmitted his intelligence yet, and information about Yahiko’s strength was also an important piece of information.

Seeing that Nagato seemed to be losing patience and was about to attack, Nagi finally spoke. ”That’s right. I am a higher-up of the Chakra Technology Company.”

Nagato slowly lowered his hand and calmly asked, ”Your purpose.”

”We discovered that there seemed to be something unusual about the Frost Shinobi Village. It doesn’t seem like an ordinary small shinobi village. In addition, several small shinobi villages have been established over the past two years, which is somewhat unusual. The Light Shinobi Village was also newly established during this period, and it is a shinobi village in a neighboring country of the Land of Frost, so we wanted to investigate it.” Nagi thought for a moment before speaking.

This was not the beginning of the Shinobi Village Era anymore. How could there suddenly be so many shinobi villages being established?

He revealed the mission of this trip, but completely concealed the existence of Lord Jigen and the existence of Kara. Nagi felt that there was no problem with this.

While speaking, Nagi stared at Nagato’s face, trying to obtain information from his expression.

Unfortunately, Nagato’s face remained completely expressionless, and Nagi could not see anything at all.

’So they still discovered something...’ Nagato thought with a sigh.

Although the method was effective, if someone investigated the shinobi villages they had established, they would discover clues because Nagato and the others were implementing the same policy.

Although he had discovered the flaw, Nagato did not want to change it.

Because the policy he was implementing now could increase the strength of shinobi the fastest. If they operated like ordinary small shinobi villages, how would they defeat those Great Shinobi Villages when war came?

Although he believed that the decisive factor would definitely be himself, he could not deal with everyone by himself. The middle- and lower-level shinobi would still have to rely on themselves.

”So, what did you find?” Nagato asked again.

”The biological technology and prosthetic technology in your village are both far too advanced to belong to an ordinary small shinobi village...” Nagi revealed most of the information he had gathered.

This was information about their own village anyway, so Nagi felt there was no need to hide it.

”I can let you go, but the Chakra Technology Company must provide me with a large number of the latest Scientific Ninja Tools, and I want to send people to learn your core technology.” Nagato said bluntly. With strength came confidence.

”That isn’t something I can decide. I can’t agree to it.” Nagi refused.

If he directly agreed, he could survive Nagato, but he would probably die at Lord Jigen’s hands afterward.

Although their Lord Jigen had never fought in front of them, not a single cadre would question Lord Jigen’s power because their own strength had been given to them by Lord Jigen.

Making a temporary compromise to transmit the intelligence could still be understood, but agreeing to Nagato’s conditions would be outright betrayal.

”Aren’t you a higher-up of the Chakra Technology Company?” Nagato asked calmly as he raised his hand again.

”Can the higher-ups of your shinobi village unilaterally send a large number of shinobi to wage war?” Nagi asked in return. Nagato’s Chakra suddenly erupted, and his powerful aura pressed down toward Nagi.

Nagi did not dare to play any more tricks and said, ”This isn’t something I can decide alone. I need to report it to my superiors and ask for instructions.”

Nagato nodded calmly and had Nagi write a letter. They would help Nagi deliver it to the Chakra Technology Company, while Nagi would be temporarily imprisoned.

......

The rise of Chakra technology and the emergence of Scientific Ninja Tools had sparked an entirely new technological revolution throughout the shinobi world.

Although they did not possess the black technology of the Chakra Technology Company, the Five Great Nations were also racking their brains to develop Chakra technology as much as possible, recruiting talented people and providing large amounts of funding.

Among them, Konoha was the most enthusiastic. Not only did it have a large number of official policies, but it also spent money lavishly, displaying an attitude of being wealthy and unconcerned about the cost.

When Nagasawa learned that Chakra technology and Scientific Ninja Tools had appeared, he was somewhat dumbfounded. How had the technology tree suddenly advanced like this?

Because he had read the original work, even by the time of the Fourth Great Ninja War, he had never heard of anything like this.

”Could it be because I changed the plot too much, bringing much more peace to the shinobi world, and the butterfly effect caused some key talents to survive by accident, resulting in the emergence of Scientific Ninja Tools?” This was Nagasawa’s initial guess.

Nagasawa attached great importance to the suddenly emerged Chakra Technology Company. This was a hope of greatly increasing prosperity.

Therefore, Nagasawa not only spent a large amount of money developing Chakra technology in Konoha, but also sent Obito to investigate the Chakra Technology Company.

As a result, he discovered that this company really had something. It possessed considerable hidden strength, but he did not discover anything more.

This result did not satisfy Nagasawa. He knew that this Chakra Technology Company was definitely hiding more behind the scenes.

After all, Naruto was only four and a half years old now, and it would still be more than a year before he entered the Ninja Academy. For such black technology to suddenly emerge at this point in the timeline, there had to be a problem.

Nagasawa boldly guessed that this technology company might not have been created by people from the shinobi world. It could be related to aliens, and might even be related to the Otsutsuki.

Although Kaguya had never displayed any advanced Otsutsuki technology, Nagasawa felt that as an interstellar civilization, even if the Otsutsuki were a race that relied on individual power, their technological level would still be countless years ahead of the shinobi world.

Nagasawa had personally gone to investigate as well, but perhaps the person hiding in the shadows was too timid. Nagasawa also failed to discover any more information.

Nagasawa did not dare to act directly either, because he really needed someone to advance the technology tree. If he acted and that person stopped, what would he do? Therefore, Nagasawa was currently observing the situation, merely monitoring the Chakra Technology Company without obstructing its development, and even helping it develop.

”The Chakra Technology Company has made contact with the Akatsuki.” Obito suddenly appeared in Nagasawa’s office and reported to him.

At present, Nagasawa believed that there were two unstable factors in the shinobi world. One was the Akatsuki led by Nagato, and the other was the mysterious Chakra Technology Company.

As for Nagato, because Nagasawa needed Nagato to help him make the shinobi world wake up and advance certain things, Nagasawa had not made a move against Nagato for the time being. Instead, he had been watching Nagato’s movements and making arrangements, waiting for Nagato to act.

”The two unstable factors have come into contact with each other...” Nagasawa fell into thought.

”Continue observing and see what they want to do. If necessary, you may take action.” Nagasawa said.

Over the past year, Nagasawa had also exchanged for quite a few other Devil Fruits. Obito, who had been operating outside all this time, had also been given a powerful Devil Fruit by Nagasawa.

In fact, Obito’s own setup was already extremely perfect. Dual Kamui provided both offense and defense, and he could also summon Susanoo.

However, even someone like Obito with an excellent setup could still benefit from a top-tier Devil Fruit. The one Nagasawa gave Obito was Fujitora’s Gravity-Gravity Fruit.

The Gravity-Gravity Fruit could use its ability to freely manipulate the strength and direction of gravity. It could instantly increase gravity to a distance of tens of thousands of kilometers above the ground, pull down meteorites carrying scorching flames, make objects lose their weight and float, or cause gravity to form repulsive force and deflect an opponent’s attacks.

At first glance, it seemed that having the Gravity-Gravity Fruit was equivalent to having Shinra Tensei plus Planetary Devastation.

But that was not the case. The Gravity-Gravity Fruit and the basic repulsive and attractive forces of the Rinnegan were different, and it had enormous potential for development.

Obito nodded and soon disappeared again.

Suddenly, a stream of memories returned to the main body. Nagasawa looked toward the direction of the entrance to Konoha.

Just now, the Shadow Clone that had been protecting Itachi had released itself after watching Itachi walk through the gates of Konoha, sending its memories back to the main body.

After nearly two years away, Itachi had finally returned to Konoha.

Feeling the additional memories in his mind, Nagasawa was somewhat emotional. Itachi, a child who was still several months away from turning ten, had already experienced far too much.

He had once been lost under Black Zetsu’s manipulation of public opinion, witnessed the darkness of the nobles in the capital, spent a long time traveling alone while training, seen too much, and come to understand what human nature was.

Following the main body’s instructions, Nagasawa’s Shadow Clone would absolutely not intervene as long as Itachi’s life was not in danger. He basically just watched from the side, silently serving as a recorder.

”Konoha, I’m back.” Itachi looked at this familiar yet somewhat unfamiliar village. Even he, who rarely showed much emotion, revealed a smile.
