I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

In the elder office of the Hokage building, the Third Hokage looked at the information in front of him and fell into deep thought.

Since he appointed Minato as his successor, he left the office that he had been sitting in for decades and moved to the Elder Office.

The information was about the establishment of Anbu’s training team, as well as Nagasawa’s personal information.

Having one out of two Anbu Divisions join Anbu’s training team was a big move.

Moreover, the Commander of this training team had special authority.

It was so special that it reminded the Third Hokage about Danzo when he trained Anbu that eventually became Root.

Later on, Root kept absorbing Anbu and gradually got bigger. In the end, he got rid of Anbu and almost became the Anbu team that belonged solely to Danzo.

However, the Third Hokage was confident that he could suppress Danzo. No matter what Root did, he could just dissolve it with a single command. Thus, he did not care too much about it. Let’s just say that he let Danzo do whatever he pleased to an extent out of pity for his former teammate.

However, the Third Hokage was not familiar with Nagasawa. He had to help Minato check out his background.

After reading through Nagasawa’s information from childhood to adulthood, the Third Hokage knew that Nagasawa was definitely not an average guy. At least not as ordinary as mentioned in his data.

Although Nagasawa’s achievements since childhood all showed that he was an ordinary Shinobi, especially since it took him six years to become a Chunin.

However, after seeing Nagasawa’s mission record, the Third understood Hokage.

After joining Anbu for four months, he completed a total of three S-Rank missions. He was the captain of all three missions.

Moreover, the last two S-Rank missions were not that easy. He completed the investigation and successfully attacked Golden Organization with only one squad within four weeks.

Without a doubt, Nagasawa was definitely quite a skilled Shinobi. He was at least way stronger than the ordinary Jonin. Otherwise, Minato would not have given him such a heavy responsibility.

And why would such a skilled Shinobi perform so mediocre during the Academy all the way until recently?

Was it all planned, or was it because he had finally become strong enough recently after such a long training?

The Third Hokage was more inclined to the former.

If that were the case, then the information in his hands would not have much credibility. Perhaps Nagasawa deliberately made himself look like a mediocre guy in front of everyone.

With that in mind, the Third Hokage called an Anbu and said, ”Have Uchiha Shisui come here.”

”Yes!”

The Anbu immediately carried out the order and arrived at the Third Hokage’s office in a short while.

”Third Hokage-sama!” Shisui said politely.

The Third Hokage nodded. He was pleased with Uchiha Shisui’s attitude. Unlike the other Uchihas, Shisui inherited the Will of Fire as the descendant of Uchiha.

In addition, Shisui was also a prodigy. At the age of eleven, he was active in the Third Shinobi World War. Because of his unique and amazing fighting style, he was known as the ”Shisui of the Body Flicker”.

”I need you to join the newly established Anbu Training Squad to observe the Commander of the training squad, Fujiwara Nagasawa, and assess him thoroughly,” the Third Hokage immediately instructed Shisui.

Minato suddenly gave so much authority to someone he was not familiar with. The Third Hokage felt that it was necessary to confirm whether Nagasawa could shoulder this important task.

He did not mind Minato doing this. Sooner or later, he would give all the Hokage rights to Minato.

He was only worried that Minato would make a mistake because he was not experienced enough. So, he was hoping that he could follow up if he made any mistakes.

”Is that so? I got it.” Shisui nodded.

...

Little did Nagasawa know that the kind-hearted Third Hokage was afraid that he wasn’t up to the task, so he sent one of his most skilled men to help him. Meanwhile, Nagasawa himself was explaining the difference between the Nature Transformation and the Shape Transformation to Kabuto.

”Look at this Rasengan in my hand, it is the example of Shape Transformation.”

Nagasawa showed Rasengan to Kabuto.

”It is essentially a spinning ball of chakra formed and held in the palm of the user’s hand.”

Then, Nagasawa quickly made a series of hand seals and expelled a ball of flame.

”This is the Nature Transformation. I turned chakra into flame.”

After listening to Nagasawa’s explanation, Kabuto concluded, ”So, altering Chakra’s shape is Shape Transformation while turning chakra into fire, earth, wind, and thunder water is Nature Transformation.”

”Yeah, more or less,” Nagasawa nodded.

”Is there any Ninjutsu that possesses both Shape Transformation and Nature Transformation?” Kabuto asked curiously.

”Do you remember the spar between my squad member?”

Kabuto nodded and said, ”I remember.”

That day left a deep impression on him, and he knew what kind of battle Shinobi had.

”That Shinobi with white hair like you and a mask, used the Lightning Release: Chidori, which has both Nature Transformation and Shape Transformation.” Nagasawa gave an example.

After recalling it, Kabuto did think that Kakashi’s Lightning Release was indeed strong. He won two spars with his Lightning Release.

”But simply knowing this is good enough for you for the time being. Don’t think too much about it. It’s not the time for you to self-create Ninjutsu.” Nagasawa smiled and ruffled Kabuto’s hair.

Kabuto changed his nod, but he was secretly determined to also create a powerful Ninjutsu with both Nature and Shape Transformation.

In the end, Nagasawa taught Kabuto everything. He talked about the basics of the Academy, and he would also briefly talk about the Nature Transformation that Jonin used.

After talking about the theory, Nagasawa let Kabuto practice on his own and then dispersed. Yes, it was a shadow clone that taught Kabuto as Nagasawa was relatively busy, Anbu needed him, and he had to teach Kabuto and Might Guy, so he had to juggle all these by using Shadow Clone Technique.

Meanwhile, the real Nagasawa in Anbu’s base was taken by surprise.

Upon looking at Anbu’s transfer paperwork in his hand, and Shisui in front of him. Nagasawa readily agreed, indicating that Shisui could join the training.

He did not expect that the Third Hokage would actually send Shisui to train under him.

Nagasawa was thrilled. Originally, he was prepared to raise a skilled Shinobi that would be of use to him, but the Third Hokage actually gave him the finished product directly.

But then Nagasawa thought, ’can something that good really happen?’

At this time, Shisui was much stronger than Kakashi, and if Shisui could be his second-in-command, his workload would be greatly reduced.

When one became strong, they would do whatever they wanted, but when it came to him, he was even busier than when he was a Chunin.

Nagasawa wanted to raise more useful soldiers for him and then have them help strengthen Konoha and increase its prosperity while he was lying down and counting the points.
