I Punch the Tailed Beast Ball

”The first battle, Midori Inuzuka vs. Ensui Nara,” Nagasawa announced the start of the battle.

The two stood two meters apart. When Nagasawa said that, Ensui stomped the ground twice, quickly drew the distance, and entered an area with denser trees.

Midori Inuzuka was best at Taijutsu, which surpassed even Kakashi. It’d be stupid if he fought Midori Inuzuka head-on.

Seeing that the Ensui was so fast, Kabuto’s eyes widened.

But he became even more surprised by the next second.

”Ashimaru, go, go! Beat the hell out of Ensui.” Midori Inuzuka shouted and then went after Ensui with Ashimaru at a faster speed than Ensui’s just now.

But she won’t be able to catch up anytime soon. Ensui was shrewd indeed. He deliberately entered the dense forest to make it hard for Midori to chase him.

Ensui jumped up and down the trees, looking for an opening.

It looked like a one-on-one fight, but in fact, it was a one-on-two because Midori Inuzuka had a ninja dog.

So even if he used Shadow Imitation to restrain Midori Inuzuka, he still had to worry about being pounced on by her ninja dog.

He could try using the Shadow Imitation Technique to restrain them both, but it would be too exhausting and not worth it.

He also had no teammates to help him attack the person he restrained.

Ensui understood that his chances of winning this battle were slim.

However, he was not ashamed to lose. The Nara Clan has never been famous for fighting one-on-one. They were famous for their wits and intelligence.

Even so, Ensui still wanted to win because he didn’t like being underestimated. Although Nara Clan excelled at the support role, it did not mean that they didn’t have any deadly techniques.

Shadow Sewing Technique, Shadow Imitation Technique, and the advanced Shadow-Neck Binding Technique were all deadly Ninjutsu.

If they could kill the enemy, their teammates would not be harmed, which was also some sort of support.

Of course, that was as long as he wasn’t up against some ridiculous Technique such as Susanoo.

Fortunately, his opponent this time was a relatively normal Shinobi.

Seeing that the Ensui was as slippery as an eel, Midori Inuzuka thought for a while and came up with a solution. Since the Ensui seemed to use the terrain to restrict her movement, she would destroy the terrain.

”Ashimaru, get ready, Fang Passing Fang!”

Midori Inuzuka and Ashimaru rotated their bodies in high-speed rotation, forming two fast-moving tornadoes.

Bam! Bam! Boom!

Midori and Ashimaru knocked down big trees that were blocking their attack path one after another, ignoring the terrain as they went after Ensui.

Seeing four big trees were knocked down so easily, Kabuto gasped, and he clearly seemed surprised.

Neither Nagasawa nor Nono had shown a Ninjutsu that destructive in front of him.

This was the first time Kabuto saw the power of Ninjutsu.

Watching the big trees fall down one after another, Kabuto could feel the destructive power of Ninjutsu.

Even dozens of big tree was knocked down so easily. If such an attack hit him, he would’ve been torn to pieces for sure.

Ensui has been jumping and dodging using the tree, while Midori Inuzuka and Ashimaru have been destroying the trees.

Soon, there were fewer and fewer places for Ensui to escape.

However, Ensui didn’t panic, and his footwork remained steady.

He knew Midori Inuzuka really well as she was a teammate who had been working together with him during the past missions, and so Ensui expected that she would destroy the forest. It was all within his calculation.

Just like how Ensui knew Midori Inuzuka very well, Midori Inuzuka also knew what he was thinking to a certain extent, so she was wary of his Shadow Sewing Technique.

However, with Midori Inuzuka’s speed, Ensui’s Shadow Sewing Technique would have a difficult time hitting her.

So before that, he had to wear Midori Inuzuka down to a certain extent and kept dodging until Midori Inuzuka let his guard down so that he could have a chance to win.

As Ensui kept dodging, he finally found a glimmer of hope of winning.

At this time, Midori Inuzuka stopped because Fang Passing Fang consumed was quite taxing to use for long, so she planned to preserve her stamina.

But with such a high-speed rotation, she couldn’t immediately stop.

Midori Inuzuka’s body swayed a little as the center of gravity was a little unstable.

Ensui seized the opportunity in an instant.

”Shadow Sewing!”

The shadow under him instantly turned into four pitch-black tendril-like needles that sewed Midori Inuzuka stuck.

Seeing this scene, Kabuto subconsciously hid behind Nagasawa.

Noticing the movement of Dou, Nagasawa explained with a smile.

”This is the Secret Technique of the Nara Clan, which can turn shadows into substantial attacks.”

Kabuto memorized the Nara Clan. If he came across someone with the surname Nara in the future, he had to be careful. This Ninjutsu was a bit insidious.

The situation was reversed in an instant, and the roles of the hunter and the hunted were reversed.

Ensui perfectly timed the black shadow needle to reach Midori Inuzuka when she couldn’t react and was about to sew Midori Inuzuka stuck immediately.

’I won.’ Right when Ensui thought about it, a familiar voice sounded.

”Hehe, just kidding.”

Ashimaru that was next to Midori Inuzuka suddenly turned into Midori Inuzuka. Gathering Chakra on her feet, she flashed toward Ensui with extreme speed.

It turned out that Midori Inuzuka knew that the Ensui would definitely not fight her head-on and would make a decision based on her personality.

So Midori Inuzuka made use of that, pretending to destroy everything indiscriminately.

However, Midori Inuzuka and Haimaru had already switched positions countless times while destroying the forest.

So after the Fang Passing Fang was cut short, Midori Inuzuka immediately used Transformation Technique to transform into Ashimaru, while Ashimaru remained in its Beast Human Clone form, which transformed it into Midori Inuzuka at the beginning of Fang Passing Fang to confuse the Ensui, so that the Ensui thought that Ashimaru was Midori Inuzuka.

Then when the Ensui attacked Ashimaru, it was time for her to make a move.

Ensui didn’t have time to dodge and was directly knocked to the ground by Midori Inuzuka with a heavy punch, and then placed a Kunai around his neck.

”I lost,” Ensui admitted defeat. If Midori Inuzuka was the enemy, he would’ve died.

”I really underestimate you,” Ensui said somewhat self-consciously.

It didn’t matter if he lost. What really frustrated him was the fact that he actually fell for Midori Inuzuka’s plan.

Ensui silently reminded himself to be careful of people who seemed silly in the future.

”Hmph.” Midori Inuzuka suddenly sounded all condescending and said proudly: ”You always think I’m stupid, but I’m actually not stupid at all. Most of the time, I’m witty.”
