I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1874: 24.135 Sixth Violet Star - The Marshal’s Death

Clearly, Pei Jin avoided the vitals to let Long Tian have a slow death and fall in front of Long Juedi’s eyes. The three from the Long Family couldn’t help but focus on catching the fallen figure of Long Tian. Seeing this, the elf king Vega had no other choice but to support them as they caught the marshal in their arms and carried him to safety. Pei Jin didn’t stop them from taking the wounded Long Tian nor did he ask the undead to stop attacking them. He just watched the scene with mirth in his eyes.

Long Juedi cradles his father with tears in his eyes. Long Tian, covered in multiple wounds, stopped himself from puking blood and slowly stretched his hand to wipe his son’s tears with a smile.

”Jue’er, you must... stay strong. My... death is not... your fault. Do not... blame yourself.”

”Dad... Dad, I don’t like this! I don’t! Grandpa is gone. You can’t be gone too!” Long Juedi said as he held the big hand of his father which is now slowly turning cold.

Long Tian said, ”Be...strong. Don’t... be defeated... by something... evil.” Long Tian said to his son and finally looked at his elder brother.

”B-brother...”

”Hm?”

”My position... Do not... take it. Jue’er and... Teng’er... Only have you... now,” said Long Tian.

Long Kian understood the meaning of his younger brother’s words. In the first place, he doesn’t fit that kind of job in which he is willing to give up everything for the human race. He can only make sacrifices for his family alone. His tears lingered at the corner of his mouth as he tried his hardest to control it.

He said with a hoarse voice while holding the other hand of his brother, ”I know. I will protect them. I will definitely protect them with my life! I promise you!”

”Thank you... Big brother,” Long Tian finally took his last breath as the life in his eyes faded and the pain in the heart of his remaining family could not be held back.

”N-No... NO! DAD!!!” Long Juedi shouted as he hugged his father’s corpse.

Pfft!

This tragic scene was disrupted by Pei Jin who suddenly let out a laugh. He was looking at Long Juedi with extreme ecstasy in his eyes as he saw his pain, sadness and anger. These are the very same eyes Long Juedi would use to glare at him. This is what he wanted to see.

Long Juedi glared at Pei Jin afloat in the sky, ”What the hell are you laughing at!?”

”Hahaha~. Of course, I am laughing at you! This is it... This was supposed to be your fate! The death of the Long Clan members. They were all destined to be dead. There are still two left~ if I also kill them I wonder how much would you change~” Pei Jin said.

Long Kian couldn’t help but pull the two youngsters of his family behind him while calling Pei Jin names, ”MADMAN!”

”Of course, I am insane! I wouldn’t have become like this if my family only treated me like you. If they loved me, if they didn’t kill my mother, if only I wasn’t jealous of your happy family. If only your grandfather or father isn’t so overprotective of you. If only you had lived my life and I lived yours. I won’t become like this!”

Pei Jin looked like he had finally completely lost it. He was saying words out of his control as if pouring all his heart out for them. However, they didn’t sympathize with him. Who would destroy someone else’s family just because yours is not good and you are jealous of someone else? Only one that is not of the right mind would do such a thing.

Long Teng said, ”But that is not a right reason for you to harm our family!? We got nothing to do with you!”

He shouted in anger. The pain of losing not only his grandfather but also seeing his only uncle die in front of him is too much to bear and the culprit was someone so powerful that he couldn’t even take revenge for their deaths. Just how unfair the world is, to give power to such an evil man!

Pei Jin said, ”Indeed, I have nothing to do with you? But... Who cares~ I targeted you because I feel like it. There is no other reasons~”

”You Lunatic!” Long Teng shouted as his father was stopping him from fighting Pei Jin.

His son is far too weak compared to this little devil who can even fly when no other beast master is supposed to do so. If there is a difference between them then it could only be the evil Beast God on his side. Even though it’s an evil beast. A god is still a god. It would make its master closer to such a being as well.

Sigh~

Pei Jin looked bored, ”I am actually getting bored already? Nothing new is happening~”

All of the sudden, the Evil Beast God in his mind shouted, ’Dodge to the right, Xiao Jin!’

Pei Jin was caught off guard but still was able to dodge to his right. The next moment he knew, someone appeared behind him trying to punch him. The punch was powerful enough to make his undead in that area to explode

BOOM!

”Oh~ you dodge that. Not bad~” the man who suddenly appeared and attacked him said.

Pei Jin distanced himself from this man who looked like in his late twenties. Arrogance and aggressiveness, this is what this man with an attractive face emits naturally.

The one who arrives is none other than Ancient God An Shizhe, the World Eater.

He said, ”Brat, bring out that beast hiding in your body. There is something I wanted to check~.”

”Who the hell are you old man?!” Pei Jin shouted.

However, the World Eater had no interest in this child at all ignoring his words. ”Show him to me, if not...” He suddenly once again appeared behind Pei Jin and unhesitatingly kicked the boy.

Pei Jin blocked this kick with both his arms and flew far away even hitting a few buildings in the vicinity.

”If not I can only beat you up until it comes out~” Ancient Lord An Shizhe said while whistling as if entertained by how much the kid flew far with one kick but is not even dead after losing his two arms from that attack.

The World Eater commented, ”You are quite beatable~.”

The remaining Long Clan members recognize An Shizhe and were shocked to see this person who had disappeared after leaving the Long Clan and heading to the Barren Lands with Long Huang that one time. It was said that the couple had bid their farewell to Long Huang and Long Juedi in the Barren Lands and gave the boy a map which allowed them to gather high grade beast eggs for the human race.

Long Juedi calls, ”Senior An?”

”Hello, kid! It seems the beast egg we had chosen for you hasn’t hatched yet. No wonder you are so helpless against the brat!” Ancient Lord An Shizhe frowned when he saw the dead body of Long Tian in the hands of the child.

He commented, ”We tried to change your fate when you were young and prevent your grandfather and father from dying. In the end, they couldn’t escape their destiny.”

”So father is truly dead?” Long Kian asked in shock. His brother didn’t mention their father and he hoped that the little devil was only feeding them lies. Who would have thought that the old marshal who is considered a legend to be truly dead.

Ancient Lord An Shizhe answered honestly, ”He is gone. Not even a body was left for him to be buried.”

”Senior... Senior An, can you revive my grandfather and father? You are a god too aren’t you?!” Long Juedi asked.

However, he is already crossing the line. After all, Ancient Lord An is not from the human race. Helping their clan before is only because they had saved them before they were born. All debts from before had been repaid, that’s why Senior Hunluan and Senior An finally left when they had fulfilled their promise of giving Long Juedi the most suitable beast egg for him.

As expected, the air around Ancient Lord An Shizhe turned icy and even looked at them with emotionless eyes.

”Kid, I am not your god, nor do I have an ability to revive someone who is dead. I only know how to kill.”

These words sent shivers to those who recognize him. The former elf king and the beastmen prophet also trembles under this cold gaze. They felt suffocations looming above their head making it hard for them to breathe.

Meanwhile, at some distance...

Pei Jin stood up among the ruined buildings and looked down on his healing arms with a hideous look on his face.

He growled in anger, ”Who the hell is that old bastard!?”

’Be careful. That is a God much more powerful than the Beast God that you know. It’s an Ancient God from the world beyond this one. Let me out. You will die if you don’t let me go out and protect you.’

”Is there no other way?” Pei Jin was reluctant in letting Ouroboros out.

Not because this demonic beast is weak but because he is too powerful. He didn’t want the battle to be done so easily.

Ouroboros said, ’If you don’t want to get devoured by the divinity in front of you, you can only let me fight him. At least I am stronger than this god. Moreover, there is another one watching from the darkness.’

”Alright. I know. I will let you fight them!” Pei Jin only flew back to the sky after his arms had fully regenerated.
