I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1548 21.5 Fifth Violet Star - Devil Bartender

Zhi Yue had investigated all night and learned the identity of his masterʼs vessel. He learns that his master in this world is an infamous playboy who goes for both females and males. Also in this bar, he is considered not only as a big boss but also an Adonis adored by most customers.

This is also the reason why everyone was staring at Zhi Yue when he came out of that personal elevator that only the bar owner, Xiu Xie, used to get to his suite on the floor above. It is just that this Xiu Xie is actually quite mysterious and unlucky.

He would sometimes appear in places where crimes are prominent and would even be mistaken for someone involved in those scenes. Thatʼs why he is a frequent visitor of the police station and was considered notorious for how he dares to flirt with policewomen. Some even considered him as a jinx by the police.

This is because he would always be considered a suspect in all criminal cases in this city, and his bar was also considered an abode of all evil. As most criminals, like killers, murderers, and even drug dealers, were found going to his place.

However, no matter how the police investigated, they found no proof that this bar owner, Xiu Xie, was directly involved in those crimes. It can be said that he is acquainted with those bad people, and they were even his customers, which made him a black sheep in the eyes of the police.

Itʼs just the more Zhi Yue listens, the more he looks bewildered. He truly cannot find the reason why his boss, who is a devil in this world, had to run a bar and even be involved in all those crimes before.

Zhi Yue was kind of a talker and got all the information he needed. Though most of it was only basic, it was enough for his master to understand his role in this world. After getting those who were having a conversation with him drunk, he finished the last cup of wine and prepared to head back to where his master was.

Itʼs just that as soon as he entered the elevator, another man with the same dark aura as his master in this world grabbed him and restrained him inside the elevator. This man was quite handsome, yet his eyes were dull and cold.

THUD!

Zhi Yue didnʼt struggle as the man grabbed his hand and pushed him by the walls of the elevator.

The man asked,

”Who the hell are you? And what is your relationship with Xiu Xie?”

Zhi Yue stared expressionless at the man in front of his and smiled,

”I donʼt seem to see the need to answer~”

”Answer me!”

said the man in a bartender suit, and his human eyes suddenly changed to a crimson one which only devils possessed.

These devil eyes appear to hypnotize him, but against a god like himself, this kind of devil is too weak to restrict him. His eyes widened in happiness, though. Zhi Yue had gathered enough information towards the human side. But just the fact that his master isnʼt even human in the world means that there is something more about this world.

Zhi Yue said,

”

Ah-ha!

You are not human! Thatʼs great!”

The devil in front of Zhi Yue was confused for a moment, as he couldnʼt understand why a human like Zhi Yue wasnʼt controlled by his devilʼs eyes and wasnʼt even terrified by seeing him. He seems to be even happier knowing that he is the devil.

”What do you mean?

Ack!

”

”Capture him, Shadow!”

said Zhi Yue.

The next moment, the devil finally understood why this human wasnʼt afraid of him. As it seems, he wasnʼt human himself at all. Zhi Yue canʼt control the darkness, but controlling the shadows is still possible. He controlled the shadow of the devil and had him restrained by it.

The devil was surprised when he saw what was happening and glared at Zhi Yue. He understood that this weak-looking young man might not be human and also possibly a devil who is more powerful than himself. He tried to escape but failed; after all, the one restraining him is his own shadow, who possessed the same strength as himself.

Zhi Yue said,

”Good thing you appeared! Master lost all his memories tonight, and Iʼve just recently come over, so I donʼt know anything. Since you are a devil yourself, you might be connected to him in another way.”

”W-What!? The King lost his memories! Just as I thought, that damn angel did something to him!”

The devil bartender said.

Zhi Yue looked at the devil and said,

”Are you the masterʼs subordinate?”

”I am his servant and... well, a lover,”

the devil said.

”What!? His lover!?”

Zhi Yue exclaimed when he heard that he is his masterʼs lover and forgot that his devil is not really the lover of the god of void and most likely the lover of the former owner of his masterʼs current vessel!

”Mamma Mia! How can the master have a lover? Will his wife kill him?!”

mumbled Zhi Yue, panicking as if learning his bossʼs hidden secret.

The Devil calmed down after seeing that this little bartender seems to be a servant of his master like himself. He doesnʼt seem to know anything, though.

”The wife you are talking about is that angel, right? What happened to the King? We should return to hell if the King is badly injured,”

said the devil.

Zhi Yue calmed down the moment he heard hell and realized that this is the clue he needs to know about. But before he could even ask for more information, the elevator had reached the destination, and the door opened wide.

Ding!

Whoosh!

When they arrived on the floor where the suite of the God of Void is, Zhi Yue happily dragged the tied devil with him and walked around the room to find his master.

”Master, Iʼm back! I caught someone who can explain things for us!?”

The tied-up devil let himself be dragged, but he was surprised to see the king before him. Even though the appearance and that perfect figure is the same as before, his demeanor had completely changed. He felt more holiness yet at the same time the same level of darkness.

The darkness in this room seems to be alive, and it makes the devil bartender tremble as if he can feel all eyes coming from the darkness itself. The one dragging him didnʼt mind all those terrifying stares in the darkness and went to the veranda, where they saw the God of Void leaning over while smoking.

His crimson irises look down on those modern buildings and even on the humans under his gaze. This pair of eyes was dull and indifferent, as if he could appreciate anything in this world. As if he is a god that looked down on all creation, apathetic and the personification of evil itself.

When those pair of inhuman crimson eyes fell on them, the devil bartender flinched as if he were being stared upon by a huge predator who could kill him with his thoughts alone. After meeting the eyes of the God of Void once, the devil never raised his head for the second time.

The God of Void, who was eavesdropping from the floor above to everything in this world, heard everything Zhi Yue had said in the bar.

”Zhi Yue, who did you say was dumped and cried all night?

Hm~

”

The cold voice of Ye Xiajie made Zhi Yue tremble. He tried to run away, but the darkness all over the room grabbed him and threw him near the foot of the God of Void. The devil who was in his hand was thrown over together with him.

Zhi Yue kneeled down and said,

”M-Master, I can explain. That is just one of the strategies to make those humans talk.”

”Investigate the world for me!”

said Ye Xiajie as he kicked Zhi Yue off the veranda and fell out of the building. Only the loud screams of the stupid moon were heard by them.

The caught devil looked as his king stared at the falling Zhi Yue with a bored gaze, and his eyes were cold and dangerous at the same time. When the God of Void saw Zhi Yue fall on the road like a flat pancake, he finally moved his gaze away from that stupid moon.

He finally looked at the aborigine Zhi Yue had caught for him. This glance alone was enough for the shadows restricting the devil to let go. In the presence of the God of Void, especially within the darkness, it is impossible for him to escape.

The devil was stunned seeing his king before him and kneeled down on his knees.

”This servant greets the King of Hell, Lucifer.”

The God of Void narrowed his eyes when he heard the name ʼLuciferʼ. This is an infamous name and can be considered the strongest fallen angel in accordance with the myths. After hearing that this demon called him in his current vessel as Lucifer and king of hell, he understood the reason for those horns, wings, and tail. He is indeed a Devil and was even the strongest among all devils.
