I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1543 21.0 Back to Vearth - Ancient God of End

The ascension from the last world was smooth. Their group had returned to Vearth safely. As soon as they reached the upper realm, Hei Anjingʼs soul disappeared and most likely returned to his original body. The rest of them teleport and head to the Netherworld to rest. The wardens were once again given time to rest.

In the Nether Palace, Ye Xiajie, who was carrying his eldest son, Yes Qinjing, in his new vessel, bumps into Ye Jingxia and the twins, Ye Jingmo and Ye Anxia. They jumped on their father, but were surprised by the boy in his arms.

”Father!”

The three mischievous babies called.

”Welcome back!”

Ye Xiajie allowed his children to cling onto him as he carried Ye Qinjing in his left hand and his princess, Ye Anxia, on his right hand. Ye Jingmo sat on his fatherʼs head while Ye Jingxia hugged his fatherʼs neck from behind like a little monkey and got a free-back ride.

The three were now staring at Ye Qinjing.

”Father, who is this boy?”

asked Ye Jingxia.

”Cute. Cyute~”

said the little princess, Ye Anxia.

Ye Xiajie asked,

”Who do you think he is? Canʼt you recognize him, Xiao Jing?”

Ye Jingmo on the other hand, reached out his chubby hands towards the boy with such intimacy while calling,

”Gaga~ Gega~”

The God of Void said,

”It seems Xiao Mo recognizes him.”

”Dage? What happened to you? Youʼve... shrunk?”

said Ye Jingxia as he stares at his elder brother, who is now smaller than he is.

The God of Time, Ye Qinjing, said,

”I will return to normal soon. I am just not used to this new body yet.”

Princess Anxia was sniffing at her elder brother and started mumbling,

”

Sniff~ sniff~

Ge~ shmells same... us!”

It was only then that Ye Jingxia understood, all thanks to his younger sisterʼs babbling.

”Dage, you got reborn!? Thatʼs great! Now you are my elder brother not only by name but also with blood. Those old bastards wonʼt dare to treat you as a black sheep of our family. They are so bad~”

said Ye Jingxia.

The God of Void said,

”Next time if you hear something that irritating, just beat them up. As long as they arenʼt completely killed, I, your father, can definitely resolve it.”

In the next moment, he brought his children to the void and found his wife. As expected when they arrived at the void, Hei Anjing had woken up in his real body and was there waiting for them to arrive after preparing some food from the small world he and Ye Xiajieʼs own. Though God doesnʼt need to eat for this foodie family, that is something that cannot be missed.

Hei Anjing, in his God Form, welcomed them with a smile. Not far from his, a table full of food with six chairs around it can be seen.

”You guys have arrived. Letʼs eat as we talk,”

said Hei Anjing.

For the first time since the God of Destruction had arrived, they finally had a family dinner. This time there is no one missing in their family, and Hei Anjing had enough time to spend with his family. He wouldnʼt be falling back to sleep soon like before.

Ye Xiajie asked his wife with a worried expression,

”Is it alright for you to be awake? How long can you keep up this time?”

”Half a day is not a problem. If I sleep in between, I can last for a whole day. This is thanks to the soul fragments you have successfully gathered. Thanks for the hard work, my love,”

said Hei Anjing.

Ye Xiajie hugged and kissed his wife, y Virtual Library Empire

”Itʼs worth it! Everything is for your sake.”

The couple and their children spend lots of time together. Since the children canʼt stay inside the Void for too long, they went out and stayed in the Nether Palace. They played with the children until all of them felt sleepy; the three youngest were burned out, and their eyes were shut closed.

Normally, for Ye Qinjing, staying awake is fine. He doesnʼt feel sleepy nor think that he needs to sleep. It is better for him to take care of his younger siblings as well. However, he had forgotten. Before, he still possessed an adult body, but at this moment he is just a baby boy who is even currently younger than Ye Jingxia, who looks like he is in grade school.

Seeing this, Hei Anjing felt a bit bad for his son and gently patted his head and said in a whisper,

”Little darling, sleep. Your father and I are here. Youʼll be safe.”

After hearing his dadʼs soothing voice, the groggily Ye Qinjing finally closed his eyes completely until a soft snore played symphony with the other three snores in the area. Ye Xiajie covered the children with a blanket he pulled from their small world. The couple stays near them and leans to one another.

The two cuddle like this in the core region of the Nether System.

Ye Xiajie asked,

”Baby, are you truly well now?”

”Yes, so donʼt worry too much. There is actually no need to gather all my soul fragments as I can already heal my soul. Like you, I am an independent soul and the main one. Though at my weakest I need them to heal, at the very least at this moment, it was enough for me to keep my soul awake. I will be completely healed soon, my love~”

said Hei Anjing.

”Itʼs good to be healthy. As long as you are no longer in pain, anything else is fine,”

whispered the God of Void while hugging his wife from behind.

He hid his face in the crevice of his wifeʼs neck and let the pulse of his beloved calm him down. After all, those nightmarish scenes of his belovedʼs death still vividly appear in his dreams. There is also an annoying existence that was coveting his Jingʼer. Just thinking about them makes him want to hunt them all down.

The God of Destruction says,

”AʼXia, help me pass the old willow tree to my uncle. They are quite close friends after all.”

”Um. I had a feeling that my brother would most likely drown the old willow. After all, before the two became a pair, it was the old willow who caused too much misunderstanding between them. He also loves teasing your uncle, trying to make his expressionless face distorted,”

said Ye Xiajie, the God of Void.

Chuckling Hei Anjing believes that the demonic old willow tree can indeed do such a thing. Such mischievous nature is normal for demonic beings like the willow tree.

”Thatʼs his nature. Donʼt be fooled by his age. The older he gets, the more childish he becomes,”

said Hei Anjing.

The two of them were talking when Lord God An Liang and his wife, the God of Space, Hei Jue, had come over to talk with them. Obviously, they wanted to ask the details about the God of Void being a part of the World Eater they are trying to prevent from being reborn.

Lord God, An Liang, comes over with a wine that is at least a millennium old.

”

Yo!

You two are back. Have a little drink with us?”

asked An Liang with a grin.

Hei Jue only lightly nodded at the God of Void and approached his cousin.

”How is your state right? Are you not feeling well being awake for so long, Xiao Jing?”

”Brother Jue, Iʼm better now. At least I wonʼt suddenly fall asleep. Keeping awake for half a day is still possible,”

responded Hei Anjing to his cousin.

”

Sigh~

thatʼs also fine. Actually, I came to tell you about something; your uncle told me to pass a message,”

said Hei Jue.

Hei Anjing was a bit surprised. Normally, his Uncle Baojun would come over himself if there was something he needed to tell him. Seeing now that he is not present and even asks his cousin to pass a message, it seems something made his lazy uncle busy.

He asked,

”Is Uncle busy?”

”Not quite, or maybe he is... They still havenʼt completed their Trial of Marriage yet as they couldnʼt leave the God System unprotected. After all, Vearth can only be run by a sovereign; if the two of them are gone for too long, this place might end in chaos. Your husband is also out most of the time. This is unavoidable,”

explained Hei Jue.

Hei Anjing couldnʼt help but laugh a bit. His uncles were much busier than before, as he himself cannot help them run the system. He felt a bit of guilt just thinking about this. After all, during the resurrection of Ye Xiajie, his uncle had helped him a lot.

”This... I can help them watch over the system soon. After my soul is completely healed, they can descend in the lower worlds to complete their Trial of Marriage,”

said Hei Anjing.

Hei Jue said,

”Actually, the message isnʼt about that. It was something else, but Lord Mo said that it is important for you to know.”

”What is it?”

asked Hei Anjing.

Beside him, Ye Xiajie and An Liang, who were quietly drinking, overheard their words and looked interested. They decided to listen seriously for a moment.

Hei Jue said,

”According to Lord Mo, the Ancient God of End had descended to the old SS-grade world with your soul fragment in it, and then the Ancient God of Origin had lost contact with him.”

Silence~

The God of Void, the God of Destruction, even the Lord God of the Nether System had no reaction to this news at all. Obviously, none of them are interested in whatever happens to the Ancient God of Origin and the Ancient God of End.

None of them had a close relationship with those ancient gods. It can even be said that the God of Voidʼs hatred for the Ancient God of End is too strong, and if not for the fact that this Ancient God is Hunluanʼs parents or his wifeʼs situation is not finished yet, he would have long fought with the Ancient God of End.

After all, if not for this annoying ancient god, there wouldnʼt be that misunderstanding between him and his wife in their previous lives, and they would have been together already if the Ancient God of End hadnʼt sealed the God of Voidʼs memories as Ye Jieye at that time.

It was because of that event that this couple could never get along with those two ancient gods, especially since the origins of these two were most likely connected to the son of those two ancient gods.

Ye Xiajie asked coldly,

”That old thing isnʼt dead yet?”

Ancient gods cannot be killed unless they kill themselves.
