I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1541 20.105 First Black Star - Escaped

The enraged God of Void immediately went to kill as soon as he found his target. It seems that Gui Xiajun and HeiʼAn didnʼt escape out of the world after running away from the group of Ye Xiajie and Hei Anjing.

The moment the God of Void cut off the system connection between him and his younger brother, he once again spread his domain of darkness in the whole star just to find them. As soon as he found Gui Xiajun, he initiated an attack that could completely erase the existence of the latter.

Seeing the huge black hand falling from above, Gui Xiajun and HeiʼAn couldnʼt hold back cursing. It was HeiʼAn who made the move and grabbed Gui Xiajun, preparing to open a space portal to leave this world. But this itself takes time; seeing that HeiʼAn will be vulnerable until the space is open, he protects him.

He used his black dagger to block the huge hand; however, the difference in strength between a sovereign and an ordinary evil god is large; he was instantly overwhelmed.

Urgh!

The sounds of bones cracking were heard, and Gui Xiajunʼs groans sounded painful. A potent corrosion of darkness spread from above, completely rendering Gui Xiajunʼs left hand useless.

HeiʼAn unhesitant cut Gui Xiajunʼs left arm pulled him in the space crack and left the world. What was crushed under the Godʼs hand of the God of Void was none other than the left hand of Gui Xiajun and his black dagger.

”Wait! My dagger!”

”Itʼs too late.”

BOOM!

After the huge black hand disappeared, the darkness in the world also retreated back, forming the shape of Ye Xiajie as the world once again returned to light. With a cold face, he looked down on the huge crater in the shape of the hand.

He wasnʼt surprised that Gui Xiajun had escaped; after all, he had HeiʼAn, his wifeʼs incarnation, and has the ability to use most skills of his beloved. Just as he was about to leave, he saw a small glint of light and noticed something was left behind the crater where his targets were supposed to die.

With a single step, the God of Void appeared on the ground and picked up the black blade dagger he had made and given to his younger brother as his adulthood gift. Who would have thought this dagger would be used against his wifeʼs soul fragments and get An Juejing killed before his eyes? Moreover, he is unable to save him at all.

Crash!

With a grip of his hand, the black dagger was crushed into pieces. When this gift was destroyed, all of Ye Xiajieʼs feelings for Gui Xiajun as his brother had faded. Because thinking of his younger brother made his foolish actions from before even more evident.

Especially in the world of Sentinels and Guides, where his wifeʼs vessel died prematurely and wasnʼt even given time to graduate from school, much less become an adult. He died too young, and the reason for it was because he allowed himself to be killed just to meet Gui Xiajun in the Nest of Rebirth for those who possessed the Phoenix Nirvanaʼs reincarnation skill.

Ye Xiajie mumbles,

”As expected, even families are not to be fully trusted.”

”Thatʼs not true! At the very least, I will never betray you!”

A voice lingers in the ears of the God of Void. Before he could react to someone hugging him from behind, the familiar scent of snow and mint assaulted the nose of the God of Void; it immediately calmed his raging emotions and knew who owned such a unique fragrance.

The God of Voidʼs hatred faded at this moment.

”Jingʼer, when did you follow me?”

”When I felt you using your domain to find someone. Anyway, forget about Gui Xiajun; he is not worthy of your anger,”

said the God of Destruction, Hei Anjing.

The God of Void recalled how much those reincarnations of the World Eater covet his beloved. Tun Shizhe annoyed him enough, and now there is another one, and the most frustrating one among them. He never had expected that the cause of all his tragedies was all planned by his younger brother, Gui Xiajun.

It was simply unbelievable; however, all events in this world had pointed it out. He couldnʼt even deny it, especially after Gui Xiajun said those words himself. How come he never noticed? Is it because he had gotten a family he always dreamed of before reincarnation as Ye Xiajie? He didnʼt know why things had gone wrong this time.

The God of Void turns around and hugs his wife. Hei Anjing let himself be carried and hugged at the same time; despite the tightness of this embrace, he never complains, as this is the warmth he had been yearning for all this time.

”Iʼm here. I will always be here for you,”

said the God of Destruction, Hei Anjing.

After the God of Void had calmed down, he carried his wife as it was, and he headed back to the south. Unknown to him, Hei Anjing, who he was carrying, was looking at the center of the crater with cold eyes and a mischievous smile at the corner of his lips.

The voiceless mouthed,

”I see you~”

After the couple had disappeared from the crate in the shape of the hand, HeiʼAn and Gui Xiajun, who were finding themselves in another space, came out of it. They didnʼt directly teleport out of the world and just made a cut in the space to escape the Godʼs Hand, which was intending to crush them.

Looking dumbfounded, Gui Xiajun stared in the direction where the couple had disappeared. He was actually surprised that the God of Destruction acted as if he could see them.

Gui Xiajun asked,

”That just now... can he see us?”

”He is a pureblood from the Hei Clan. Do you think space distortion can be hidden to him?”

retorted HeiʼAn.

He is now preparing to open a real space portal that leads outside the world. He had a feeling that staying here was dangerous for him. As the main soul, Hei Anjing had the ability to forcibly merge with a soul fragment. He is the authority of all his souls, and the other soul fragments couldnʼt do such a thing.

Bewildered, Gui Xiajun asked,

”Why do you think he spared us? Is it because of me?”

”Donʼt dream while still awake! No one can understand what is truly going through the head of our original. It can be said that the craziest among all of us had always been him!”

said HeiʼAn.

Gui Xiajun frowned,

”Come on~ you can talk badly of him this way. You two are both the same person after all.”

”We are not. If you can separate yourself from the God of Void, why not treat us the same as well,”

said HeiʼAn.

A neat space portal appeared before HeiʼAn, and countless runes were running to keep this portal open. There are also laws of the space included into it.

HeiʼAn said,

”Letʼs leave. Staying here is dangerous. You can do as you wish in the next world. By the way, in exchange for me helping you just now, you must also help me find the other soul fragments for me to merge with them. Thatʼs the only way for me to get stronger.”

”Okay, I will help you. You will also help me kill my elder brother!”

said Gui Xiajun.

The two of them finally decided to leave the current star completely and walk through the space portal that disappeared after the two of them went in. It seems that these two are truly finished in getting involved in this world and the Heavenly Laws watching them had sighed in relief. His world will now be free of danger.

Back to the south region...

After the God of Void and the God of Destruction left the fortress, the rest of those who were left behind chose to wait instead of chasing after them. They had obviously felt the rage of the God of Void and were getting caught up in whatever this evil god was planning to do; they didnʼt get involved, as no one wants to die for no reason.

The son of the two supreme gods can only wait for his parents to return. Even though he had descended in vain, Ye Qinjing didnʼt mind, as he was able to spend more time with his parents in this world, and this makes him happy.

Ye Qinjing spoke,

”Uncles, when will my parents return? They wouldnʼt be in danger, right?”

”Xiao Qinqin, thatʼs impossible. Not only did your father descend into this world without restriction, your dad isnʼt easy to kill either,”

said Zhi Yue.

Ye Qinjingʼs expression turns weird at how Zhi Yue calls his name,

”Uncle Yue, please donʼt call me Xiao Qinqin. I feel like a baby.”

”But you are a baby compared to anyone in this room,”

said Zhi Yue.

Ye Qinjing looked around and had no words to retract. Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang are systems created by his father when he was still the newly born God of Void, Ye Jieye. Uncle Lou Wuye is as old as his father, while Uncle Yun Ming was a few hundred years older than his dad. As for the Demonic Willow Tree, he already existed even before his dad was born.

Compared to him, who is just a recently enthroned God of Time whose age is only 300 years old, the age most of the people in this room can easily surpass a millennium.
