I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1051: 16.97 First Red Star - Illusionary Forest (IV)

In the continuation of the scene in the mirror, Mayonaka Yoru is contemplating the past of his unknowing lover. This is the unknown dark side of Esther Dawn, which he discovered in the Illusionary Forest.

The scenes are still unfolding. The strange and passionate sounds coming from Archbishop Dawnʼs tent drew the attention of the others on the mission. This news had reached Mayonaka Yoruʼs ears, and he frowned as soon as he heard it. Unlike the subordinates who were afraid of offending their superiors, such as Archbishop Dawn, someone in the same position, such as Mayonaka Yoru, had the authority to intervene.

Mayonaka Yoru opened Archbishop Dawnʼs tent with heavy and huge strides, expecting a scene that would be imprinted on his memories as nightmares. He was astounded to see his subordinate entangled with a slave-like hooligan. Deep down, heʼs relieved that it wasnʼt the man he thought it was.

”L-Lord... Lord... Help... Ahh... Please help me hmm~” The little priest couldnʼt control his desire, but his heart was leaning toward the person who appeared in front of his eyes. He appears to be a slut who couldnʼt pick which dick he wanted but appears to want them all.

Mayonaka Yoru looked down at him and kicked him and the man on top of him away. It appears that he was not even treated as someone under his authority, but rather as garbage that happened to fall on him.

”Revolting!”

ARGH! THUD!!!

”Execute them both! Who allowed them to enter the tent of their superior and did such a sickening thing!” commanded Mayonaka Yoru.

”My lord please donʼt do this! I love you because you never turn your head my way, I can only destroy that man in your heart!!!” The little priest yells, shocking everyone in the area. Such juicy gossip between their superiors, no one would have expected it.

The two revolting couples were terrified, but the hooligan was unfazed, especially after hearing what the idiot priest had just said. He knew he would be executed when he accepted this mission, but the Archbishop with an angel face promised to free his family as long as he was told. That night, his wife and children were released from slavery and returned to their town with enough money to last a few years. Esther Dawnʼs reward for completing his task and in exchange for his life.

He was well aware that he was not a good person. Before becoming a slave, he was a murderer who met his wife in the Slave Market. He knew that once his children were born, they would be treated as slaves as well, so he wanted to save enough money to redeem at least his wife and become a normal person while also saving his unborn children.

When the little priest approached him and offered him a large sum of money, he agreed to do whatever he desired. Isnʼt it simply raping a man? He did worse; it doesnʼt matter if he can get it up or not; there are drugs for that. Who would have guessed that when he returned home from an errand after meeting the little priest that day, he would be greeted by the slave owner and a beautiful young man dressed in a crimson robe? He was clearly a high-ranking official. One who possesses strength, power, beauty, and authority. In the eyes of lower humans such as them, he is an angel descending from heaven.

This cruel angel demanded his life in exchange for giving his wife and children a future not as slaves but as ordinary humans free to live in the sun with their heads held high in the sky. They would be given their freedom, money to spend for ten years, and one year of protection from this angel until his wife is able to live the normal life they have always desired.

Only then did he realize that the beautiful angel in front of him was not a saint, but rather a cruel devil with no heart. Despite this, he accepted the devilʼs task, and on the same night, his wife was set free and sent away to live as a normal person, escorted by some priests. Then he followed the cruel angel back, and now the reality in front of him is unfolding.

”No wonder that angel did this! Because you are a cruel and indecisive man that even your subordinates dare to plot against him. You know he loves you but... Would that love even last if you keep doing such things and keep on hurting him? Hahaha~”

Everyone was taken aback when Mayonaka Yoru beheaded the hooligan. Mayonaka Yoru, who wore a cold gaze in his eyes, killed the little priest dyed in the blood of his rapist. The strong in his hands gleam with red blood, which he flings away before concealing his weapon.

He commanded the rest, ”Clean up here! Donʼt walk around and go back to your tents!”

”Yes, Your Excellency!!!”

People rush to burn the two bodies and clean up the scene. They can only watch in silence as their superior rushes away as if looking for someone. They knew Archbishop Mayonaka had to be looking for Archbishop Dawn. Mayonaka Yoru only ran in that direction after someone told him they saw Archbishop Dawn heading to the river.

This joint mission of the two Archbishops took place during the winter season. The mission was to eliminate a Noble-ranked vampire in the West, and this vampire was quite high-ranked. As a result, this mission was assigned to the two Archbishops.

During the winter, the riverʼs surface was frozen, but the water beneath was ice cold. Mayonaka Yoru followed the scent from his memory. The aroma of coffee and aged wood. Esther Dawn enjoys spending time in old libraries reading books while drinking coffee. He spends more time in old libraries that are old and musky; the scent lingers on him after spending so much time in those places. Even a faint scent of such fragrance cannot be hidden from a werewolf like him.

He saw Esther Dawn baked with half of his body soaked in the ice river at the edge of the river just behind a huge rock, and he himself was leaning on the edge of the river languidly with his eyes closed as if asleep. Frost can be seen on his eyelashes, and his lips have turned purplish black due to the cold. But, as if he didnʼt feel anything, the man slept beside the river, his lower body submerged in ice-cold water.

Mayonaka Yoru drew Esther Dawn from the river and wrapped him in his robes. Esther Dawn was wrapped tightly in a red robe, highlighting his white skin and leaving Yoru unsure where to look. The person in his embrace doesnʼt care what happened to him right now because his entire body has been frozen by the riverʼs ice-cold water.

”Are you crazy?! Donʼt you know how cold the river is in winter!?” bellowed Archbishop Mayonaka.

Esther Dawn looked at him with an expressionless face and said, ”Iʼm drugged with a twice-strong Aphrodisiac. Unless I cool down, I can only die.”

”Arenʼt you a light element user? Canʼt you use the Purification Spell on yourself?!” Mayonaka Yoru retorted.

Esther Dawn said, ”Purification Spell is a high-tier Spell. Once I used it I wouldnʼt be able to use my light elements for half a day. What would I do during the mission if I indeed used it? Wait for me to die in one of your plots?”

Mayonaka Yoru was stunned by such direct words. That was his intention, which is why he had one of his servants put a paralyzing powder in Esther Dawnʼs wine. As a result, he has a good chance of killing him during the mission. Esther Dawnʼs next words nearly caused the man to yell in disbelief.

Nonchalantly, Esther Dawn said, ”Moreover what your servant put in my wine is not an ordinary drug but an Aphrodisiac. Do you wish for me to sleep with some just to cure myself? If so, bring a person over to treat me!”

”What nonsense?! Who allowed you to sleep with anyone but me?! Furthermore, an Aphrodisiac?! I only ordered that priest to put a bit of paralyzing powder, not that heinous thing!” Mayonaka Yoru exclaimed. The more he hears, the more enraged he becomes. He currently believes that the stupid priest he murdered died far too easily. He should not have killed him right away and instead tortured him. ”What little shit! I shouldnʼt have killed him instantly.”

”Is there a difference between death and losing your dignity? The latter is a little difficult to swallow. Cough. Cough,” Esther Dawn said.

His body had been greatly weakened by bathing in an ice-cold river. His body is now cold on the outside and hot on the inside. For the time being, he feels balanced, and he is extremely sleepy. Archbishop Mayonaka became concerned when he saw him in this state. He had intended to let this man die away from his sight, but seeing it with his own eyes is a different experience, especially hearing his breathing slow and low.

Mayonaka Yoru yells, ”Donʼt sleep. The moment you fall asleep you die!”

”Haha~ isnʼt that what you wanted? What a... Contradictory person...” Esther Dawn can barely open his eyes as he feels extremely lethargic.

”Tsk! Damn it!” Mayonaka Yoru carried away Esther Dawn and brought him into his tent to his bed and immediately summoned all doctors and healers in both groups.

When the others saw the Archbishop naked with only one robe over him and both pale lips and a flushed face, they had already imagined everything that needed to be imagined. Their two superiors must have done something that no one else can say.

Mayonaka Yoru, who was currently in a bad mood, glared at these brainless people who chose to stare but not treat the fragile person in his embrace. He couldnʼt stop himself from yelling at them.

”I told you to check on him! Are you all deaf!?” Mayonaka Yoru yelled.

The doctors trembled at such menacing voices and approached their superiors with shaking legs.

”Noisy~ cough. Cough. cough.” Complained Esther Dawn with his eyes closed. He knew that falling asleep like this would lead to death. But he is so tired that he can only keep his eyes closed while still preventing himself from completely falling into slumber.

Mayonaka Yoru reprimands him, ”Stop talking anymore. Let them cure you.” He didnʼt even notice that his voice instinctively turned gently and mellowed while the others couldnʼt be helped but shiver at this scene.

Groans~

”Tsk! You... Someone drugged him with an aphrodisiac! It was those two bastards from before. Treat him or use a Purification Spell!” Archbishop Mayonaka commanded.

The local priests couldnʼt help but feel helpless in the face of this command. Everyone is aware that Purification is a powerful spell. It can only be cast by a group of bishops, an Archbishop, and above. Since there were already two Archbishops in charge, no bishops joined them for this mission; only a group of priests and deacons, as well as a team of holy knights, came with them.

A brave priest musters his courage and says, ”Your Excellency! The only ones who can cast Purification Spell in our whole team are Archbishop Dawn and... you. We, ordinary priests, canʼt gather that much light element to cast it.”

”Useless! I can cast it but that means neither I nor him can heal you after the mission. Are you okay with that? Hah!?” Mayonaka Yoru said.

They canʼt possibly agree with that. Their adversaries for this mission are the bloodsuckers, who can regenerate as long as there is blood. They are only humans; how can they not be injured while fighting these creatures? The doctors can only recommend the last possible option in this situation.

”M-My lord... Then there is... only one way left.” The doctor said.

Archbishop Mayonaka flinched, and Archbishop Dawn, who had his eyes closed, opened them forcefully despite his weakness. His voice had become hoarse as a result of the love drugs, making his tone raspy yet sexy at the same time.

”River... bring...me... back... to the river,” Esther Dawn says quietly.

The man who was hugging him had turned completely dark and gloomy. This expression terrified everyone inside the tent, and they couldnʼt help but take a step back from their two superiors.

Esther Dawn heard Mayonaka Yoruʼs cold, whimpering voice. His voice was full of rage to the others, but Esther Dawnʼs ears felt like the man was deeply hurt by his words.

”Do you despise it (me) so much?”

”Archbishop Mayonaka had no right to ask such a question,” Esther Dawn said, implying that the man was to blame for the outcome. As a result, asking such a question is a little... foolish.
