Zhao Jianwei’s eyes lit up. “You even signed an agreement? What’s written on it? Let me take a look.”

“I’ll send it to you on WeChat later.”

Cao Jiawang took out his phone and sent the photo that Wang Guanghong had sent over to Zhao Jianwei.

Looking at the contents of the agreement, Zhao Jianwei couldn’t stop smiling.

“Doesn’t he know that this kind of thing should never be documented? He actually signed an agreement. Isn’t he jumping into the fire pit himself? Forget firing him, if we hit him when he’s down, he’ll probably even be hit with a criminal sentence.”

!!
Cao Jiawang laughed out loud.

“He usually looks quite smart, but I didn’t expect him to be an idiot. Now that we have this in our hands, we can directly ask the security department to take him away.”

“It would be meaningless to call it the security department over something so interesting.” Zhao Jianwei held onto his phone with a cigarette in his mouth.

“I’ll call the police now and get the police to come and take him away. I want everyone to know about this. Then, I’ll use him as a negative example and publicize it to the entire hospital. I want his reputation to be ruined so that he won’t be able to make a comeback for the rest of his life!”

“Brother Zhao, no wonder you could become the vice president. You’re indeed better than me.”

“Alright, stop flattering me. We are already close enough.” Zhao Jianwei said.

“Call Lin Yi over. The police will take him away later.”

“No problem.”

The two of them split up. Cao Jiawang took out his phone and called the cardiology department. The person who picked up was Liu Yongsheng, who he then asked to inform Lin Yi to come to Zhao Jianwei’s office.

Ten minutes later, the office door was pushed open and Lin Yi walked in.

“President Zhao, were you looking for me?”

After entering the office, Lin Yi sat on the sofa and said casually.

Zhao Jianwei looked at Lin Yi with a smile.

“Doctor Lin, don’t you want to say anything to me about your actions?”

“Really? You already know?” Lin Yi was surprised.

“That’s right. I already learned of what you did yesterday, and I have enough evidence. I hope you won’t argue with me. Admit your crimes quickly and fight for leniency.”

“I don’t think so. Is this related to a crime?”

“Don’t you know what you’ve done?”

“I just went to the bathing house and got a really good massage. This kind of thing shouldn’t be illegal, right?”

“What did you say? You went to a bathing house?”

“That’s right. Huaqing Lake, Technician No. 18. Her technique is very good, but I heard that she’s getting married and is going back to her hometown to start a family in the future. I probably won’t be able to see him in the future. If President Zhao and Director Cao want to experience her technique, hurry up. Don’t say that I didn’t warn you.”

BANG!

Zhao Jianwei slammed the table, “Lin Yi, you’re still trying to act crazy at a time like this? Do you think it’s appropriate?!”

“I’m telling the truth. Why would I be pretending to be crazy?”

Lin Yi touched his pocket. “The receipt is still here. Take a look if you don’t believe me.”

“That’s not what I’m talking about!”

“Then what are you talking about?”

“Yesterday at five o’clock in the afternoon at Huayan Restaurant, you secretly met with the boss of Tianze Pharmacy, Wang Guanghong, and even signed an agreement to sell his medicine. Do you care about the hospital’s rules and regulations? A person like you is not worthy of being a doctor at Huashan Hospital!”

“No way. You all know of this secret? I haven’t even soldbox of medicine.”

“Let me tell you, this is karma. Even the heavens can’t stand what you’ve done, so they asked us to deal with you.”

“Don’t slander me. This move is too despicable.”

“Hehe…”

Zhao Jianwei sneered, “Do you think that I would dare to speak to you without sufficient evidence?”

Zhao Jianwei pushed his phone in front of Lin Yi. On it was the agreement he signed with Wang Guanghong the day before.

Lin Yi was a little suspicious. Where did this photo come from?

They had just signed the agreement yesterday and Wang Guanghong had been arrested. Who had sent them the photos?

Could it be a trap?

Judging from the current situation, it was indeed possible.

“Lin Yi, don’t blame us for being heartless. What you did is taboo in the hospital. I can’t protect you, so just accept your fate,” Cao Jiawang said with a smile.

“That’s a pity. We won’t have the chance to be colleagues in the future.”

“There’s nothing to pity because I don’t want to be colleagues with someone like you at all.”

“What’s the point…”

Crack—

Before Lin Yi could finish, the office door was pushed open and four police officers walked in.

The head policeman looked at Zhao Jianwei and Cao Jiawang.

“You must be Zhao Jianwei, the vice president of the administrative department of Huashan Hospital, and Cao Jiawang, the director of the cardiology department.”

“That’s right, that’s us.”

Zhao Jianwei stood up and walked over from behind his desk. He stood beside the policeman and pointed at Lin Yi.

“Comrade, this person is Lin Yi. He colluded with the boss of the pharmacy outside and recommends certain medicine for a commission. This has breached the rules and regulations of our hospital. Please deal with him strictly and use him as a negative example to warn the other medical staff.”

The head policeman glanced at Zhao Jianwei.

“The alarm bell has been sounded, but the person in the wrong here is not him, but you.”

The head policeman waved his hand. “Arrest the two of them!”

Zhao Jianwei and Cao Jiawang were dumbfounded. Neither of them knew what was going on.

“Comrade, the person who committed the crime is Lin Yi. Why are you arresting us?”

“Don’t you know what you’ve done? Do you want me to list it for you?”

Their hearts were pounding.

They clearly knew that they were not clean.

However, they never let outsiders know about their deals. What evidence did they have to arrest them?

“Officer, I’m the vice president of Huashan Hospital. I hope you can give me an explanation because you have no right to arrest me!”

“I knew you’d say that. That’s why we brought something.”

The lead policeman took out a piece of paper. “This is an arrest warrant personally approved by the mayor. Now, what else do you have to say?”

Looking at the arrest warrant, Zhao Jianwei’s head buzzed. How did this matter even reach the mayor?

“Can you tell me what happened before you arrest us?” Zhao Jianwei calmly asked.

He needed to figure out what was going on before contacting his connections and apologizing.

“It’s simple. The boss of the Tianze Pharmacy, Wang Guanghong, has been arrested. As for your private transaction, you should know it better than me, right?” The male officer looked at Zhao Jianwei.

“Although Wang Guanghong mainly exposed Cao Jiawang, Liu Yongsheng, and Fan Shufang, we also know a lot about your secret dealings, so stop quibbling and come with us quickly.”

“That’s impossible. I was on the phone with Wang Guanghong last night. How could something have happened to him since then?”

“At that time, he was already arrested. I was there when you guys were on the phone. Moreover, I was the one who took the photo and sent you the agreement. You should understand what happened now, right?”

“No, that’s impossible…” Cao Jiawang widened his eyes as if he was dumbfounded.

“We admit that we’re not clean, but the same goes for Lin Yi. He already signed the agreement. Why aren’t you arresting him?”

“When he met with Wang Guanghong yesterday, Mr. Lin cooperated with us to put on a show. Do you still have any further questions?”
