The next morning, Liang Ruoxu got up before Lin Yi.

Liang Ruoxu didn’t have the habit of eating breakfast though, so she didn’t eat anything.

“What a waste of good-looking legs for you to wear pants every day.”

“What, you want me to show you my thighs?”

“How should I put it? We’re both cultured people. We can just call this mutual appreciation,” Lin Yi said seriously.

!!
“This face is the most perfect thing on my body. Do you see me wearing a mask?”

Liang Ruoxu, “…”

“Don’t be silly. Last night, I contacted a few experts. Other than that, there’s another expert from Yanjing who has personally come over. This mainly concerns the clinical trial for the ibuprofen substitute. You should go to the meeting with me,” Liang Ruoxu said.

“Originally, I didn’t want to trouble you, but you’re the main researcher, so you have to go. You have no choice to come with me.”

“Is the Zhonghai Drug Administration qualified to do this? This should be managed by the central government.”

“Of course not, but I’ve made a special request for its approval. This is such a big matter, so the policy must give a green light and try to pass the clinical trial as soon as possible.”

“Is there a need for all that? The experimental data will show whether the drug works or not. It’s not like we can make it work just by talking about it.”

“I know it’s useless, but it’s just a formality. This is all part of the process.” Liang Ruoxu looked at Lin Yi.

“Don’t complain, just take it as a favor for me.”

“Okay.”

“I’ll be going then. Let’s contact each other through the phone.”

“Okay.”

The two drove to work after they finished their business.

Lin Yi was looking forward to a new day.

It was the seventh day after unlocking the doctor profession, and the new profession would be unlocked at 12:00 pm tonight.

Although he would not preemptively unlock it, he was still interested to see what it was.

Lin Yi parked his car at the hospital.

He didn’t need to go to the emergency department, so he went to the 8th inpatient department.

In the department, other than the new young doctors, there were two deputy directors, Liu Yongsheng and Fan Shufang.

However, as soon as he entered, Lin Yi felt an ominous aura enveloping the entire office.

“Lin Bro, you’re here.” Qiao Xin said, “Have you eaten? I brought two bananas.

“I also bought a pancake fruit on the way.”

Lin Yi sat down in front of Qiao Xin and whispered, “What’s wrong with these people? Did I kill their entire family? Why are they all looking at me like that?”

Qiao Xin looked at the others quietly, “Lin Bro, do you remember a few days ago when you saw a middle-aged man in the emergency center, the one whose mother didn’t want to buy medicine and whom you gave a new prescription?”

“I remember. What about it?”

“Didn’t you say that he should request Director Li in the future? All the patients now request Director Li’s services. Other than Director Cao, Director Liu, and Director Fan, no one else is ever requested. They all want to be checked by Director Li. I think they’re treating you like an enemy over this.”

“Oh, I see.” Lin Yi said. “Then it’s their problem. Don’t they know the reason for this? How can they try to blame others?”

“But this has affected their interests, so they naturally don’t like you.”

“What are you afraid of?” Lin Yi said. “Come, let me feed you a banana.”

“Lin Bro, there are so many people here. This is too much.” Qiao Xin said with a red face.

“You’re one of Director Li’s subordinates, why do you care so much? Come and eat this banana.”

Qiao Xin was a little embarrassed, but Lin Yi was the one feeding her. This was a rare opportunity, and others wouldn’t ever enjoy such good treatment.

“Is it good?”

“It’s good.”

“Eat it all if it’s good.”

“Okay.”

Lin Yi stretched after feeding Qiao Xin the banana. “You stay here and watch, I’m going out to get some fresh air.”

“Lin Bro, the atmosphere is a little weird here. I’ll go with you too.”

“Then let’s go together.”

The two went to the clinic to look for Li Chuhan after leaving the department.

Rather than staying in the office, they might as well go help Li Chuhan. At least in that way they could still learn something.

Just as the two left, Cao Jiawang and Zhou Ziqiang stormed back to the office.

“Director Cao, you’re back so early?” Liu Yongsheng asked.

“I only have 20 or so patients today. I’ll be done in a while.”

“That’s much better than us,” Liu Yongsheng said. “Director Fan and I only have 10 or so patients. We’ll be done in less than an hour.”

“When I left the outpatient clinic, I saw that Director Li’s waiting list already reaches seven days.”

“Exactly. After I prescribed some medicine for a patient today, I saw that they didn’t have any intention of buying it. It seems that they want to check with Director Li again before buying it.”

After saying that, Liu Yongsheng looked at the other rookies in the department. “You guys go check on the wards first and see how the patients are doing.”

“Got it, Dr. Liu.”

A few of the rookies went out one after another, but Zhou Ziqiang remained.

Liu Yongsheng and Fan Shufang knew about his relationship with Cao Jiawang, so they were on the same side.

“Director Cao, this morning, the boss of Tianze Pharmarcy called me and asked why there haven’t been any patients coming to buy medicine over the past few days. I didn’t even know how to answer him.”

“When he calls again, just tell him the truth and tell him everything that happened,” Cao Jiawang said. “We’re doctors, we shouldn’t worry about this. Let him handle it.”

“What should we do now? The patients have all gone to Li Chuhan. We don’t have any patients to treat. Soon, the whole hospital will know about this and the three of us will become the hospital laughing stock.”

“It’s all Lin Yi’s fault. If it wasn’t for him, we wouldn’t be in this situation,” Zhou Ziqiang scolded.

“You two, come with me. We’re going to the director now,” Cao Jiawang said.

“Lin Yi is a piece of rat sh*t. As long as he’s still in the cardiology department, he’ll end up making a fool of us in the future!”

“Right, let’s go find Director Zhao and have him handle this!”

Zhao Jianwei was the vice director in charge of administration, so he was in charge of all the personnel transfers. It was only right for them to seek him out to handle this.

“Let’s go, we’ll go now!”

The reason why the three of them were so excited wasn’t just because they couldn’t get the commissions for the medicine.

More importantly, many of the hospital’s evaluation criteria were based on performance, which was also known as the market economy.

If a patient did not go to you for treatment, it meant that your skills were not good enough. If this were to happen, the hospital would take a lot of benefits away from you.

By then, your path of promotion in the hospital would be severely limited.

This was what the three of them were really worried about.

Dang dang dang.

Cao Jiawang walked to the front and knocked on the office door.

“Come in.”

The three of them pushed the door open and entered.

“Old Cao, why are the three of you here?”

Zhao Jianwei and Cao Jiawang graduated from the same school, and the latter was his senior. They shared a good relationship in private.

“Director Zhao, do you know anything about our cardiology department?”

“Like what?” Zhao Jianwei asked.

Over the next ten minutes, Cao Jiawang listed Lin Yi’s crimes one by one, as if he was going to kill him.

“I know everything that happened in the emergency department. A lot of people called to complain, and I just got it under control these past few days.”

Zhao Jianwei’s face didn’t look too good at the mention of Lin Yi. He still remembered the incident where he had opposed him the other day.

“I’m working on it. I’m going to transfer him to the emergency department and slowly marginalize him,” Zhao Jianwei said.

“He thinks he’s amazing just because he performed one surgery. He even dares to criticize me in front of everyone. I have to let him know that in front of me, Zhao Jianwei, he’s nothing!”

“Director Zhao, I’m relieved to hear your words. Hurry up and transfer him away. I don’t want to see him for even another minute.”

“Don’t worry. I know what to do about this.”

After receiving an affirmative reply, the three of them left.

However, at this time, Cao Jiawang’s phone rang.

“Director Cao, what’s going on? Can our medicines still be sold? I spent millions on the supply.”

“Boss Wang, you can’t strongarm me on this.”

The person who called was none other than the boss of Tianze Pharmacy, Wang Guanghong

“We have a new doctor in our department. He turned the department upside down. Now, no one comes to see us anymore.”

“What the hell is going on? You’re the department director. If they don’t ask for you, who are they asking for?”

“They’re all asking for Li Chuhan.”

“F*ck!” Wang Guanghong cursed, “That woman is mentally ill!”
