Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

From MC’s Perspective:

The Hana Jewels shop,

“Lara, what brings you here?” A beautiful woman walked out of the office room. She was surprised to see her friend here.

Lara turned around and looked at her friend.

“Hana, I have come here for a business matter,” Lara said with a smile.

On the other hand, I saw a friend of Manager Lara. She was a middle-aged woman dressed in luxury clothes. She was wearing sparkling jewels on her neck and wrists.

I immediately knew that it was the right place to sell the maroon gem.

“Business matters? Then come inside,” the middle-aged woman replied with a smile. She knew her friend wouldn’t joke regarding this matter.

Lara nodded to her before turning towards me. Seeing that, I nodded to her before following her into the room. When we walked inside, I noticed that it was her office room.

The middle-aged woman sat in her main chair. She then asked us to sit. I looked at Manager Lara before sitting in the chair.

Lara sat in her seat before taking out the black box and placing it on the table.

The shop owner, Hana’s, eyes lit up. She then picked the box and asked, “So what have you brought me?”

She figured out they had come here to sell an item.

“See for yourself,” Lara said with a smile.

Hana chuckled before opening the box. She then saw the maroon gem inside it. Her eyes flashed with disbelief.

She had never seen such a pure and big maroon gem before. They could make a fine piece of jewelry from it. She then picked the gem with both of her hands and placed it on a soft piece of cloth.

“I’m going to check its purity,” Hana said before taking tools and gadgets out.

On the other hand, my eyes gleamed with a twinkle. I was getting to see the function of new technology. Under the gazes of the two, the shop owner activated the gadget.

Its light could penetrate inside the gem. The shop owner wanted to make sure that the gem was pure. There are cases where gems are found to be corrupted with evil magic.

Evil wizards used their tricks in such items to attack wealthy families. But she didn’t find anything here. The maroon gem was pure.

She then spent a few more minutes completing other tests. She was satisfied with the product now.

Phew!

She heaved a sigh of relief.

“This maroon gem is a pure product. I’m willing to buy it for 20 million top-grade mana stones,” Hana said with a smile.

Hearing her proposal, Lara felt it was the right price. Besides, her friend wouldn’t lie to her.

“Good, let’s complete the deal,” Lara replied.

From beginning to end, I was silent and watched the conversation between the two.

The shop owner, Hana, then took out a storage container. It was a square-shaped silver box.

“This box has 20 million top-grade mana stones,” Hana said in a calm tone.

Lara nodded before opening the box. She then saw the sparkling mana stones. Each one of them was top grade. She didn’t have to count them.

The storage container was a special product made using magic technology. It had space magic in it, so we could store more items in it.

It also had a display function, which showed the number of items stored inside. Lara saw the display, which said 20 million top-grade mana stones. Not one less or more. It was the exact number.

On the other hand, my heart raced. I thought she would store the mana stones inside the storage bracelet. But I never expected to see such a magic tech product here.

Suddenly, I couldn’t help but think about the plundering days. If I ever had to do plundering, then I’d do it here in this magic city. And my target would be the luxury brand shops.

Lara put the container in her storage bracelet. She then stood up and shook hands with her friend.

“It’s time to leave. It’s good to do business with you,” Lara said with a smile.

Shop owner Hana shook her hand in return. She was genuinely happy today. It’s not every day you can buy a maroon gem.

Seeing that both of them had stood up from their seats, I stood up as well.

Upon seeing Vincent Carey, Lara recalled something.

“I forgot to introduce you. His name is Vincent Carey. He is our new wizard seed,” Lara introduced.

Hearing that, I immediately said, “Hello!”

“What?” Hana blurted out.

She knew the news circulating around—a new wizard seed of the Silver Tower had severely injured the wizard seed of the Black Tower.

She then looked towards the kid with bewilderment.

Seeing her reaction, Manager Lara let out a small chuckle.

“Yeah, it’s him who defeated Tom Doyle,” Lara said.

Hearing that, Hana gained a trace of clarity. Her expression became serious because she didn’t know why her friend had brought the new wizard seed here.

Lara saw through her friend’s thoughts.

“Cough!”

She coughed before bringing her attention back to Hana.

“Vincent Carey is not only our wizard seed, but he is also our Silver Tower’s beginner appraiser. He was the one who found out about the maroon gem from the molten rock,” Manager Lara explained.

Shop owner Hana’s heart was set off in storms. Her gaze became more serious. She looked at the kid with disbelief again.

“Not only is this kid a wizard seed, but he is also an appraiser,” Hana thought.

Then a look of understanding dawned on her. Now she understood why her friend brought him here.

“To make connections,” she thought.

“Hello, young man. It’s nice to meet you. Since you are an appraiser, you can also contact me in the future,” After saying that, Hana extended her hand to shake.

On the other hand, I thanked her before shaking her hand.

Lara smiled seeing all of this. She wanted to sell the item. Then she wanted to introduce Vincent Carey to her friend. She thought that in the future, Vincent Carey wouldn’t forget her help.

She was aware of Vincent’s background. Right now, the newcomer needs backup. Unfortunately, she couldn’t help with that. But she could introduce him to her circles.

“Good, young man. I can’t let you leave without giving you a meeting gift,” Hana said all of a sudden.

Hearing that, Lara’s face changed all of a sudden.

“Hana, you don’t have to do that,” Lara said.

“But I’m serious. I hope in the future young wizard Vincent can visit the shop frequently for business,” Hana said.

“I will sell the items here,” I replied in a serious tone.

Hearing that, Hana revealed a bright smile on her face.

She then opened her drawer before taking a red box out. The red box was a luxury item, but the treasure inside was even more expensive.

She opened the box before showing a white and deep green color mixed ball.

She then observed the reaction of young man Vincent before saying, “It’s a blood drop from an ancient tree monster. It can purify the mana core of the wizards. If your mana core ever gets polluted, you can use this to save it.”

Hearing that, my expression changed drastically.

“No, it’s too expensive,” I rejected the gift.

“Hana, it seems expensive,” Lara said in a solemn tone.

“You have to accept my sincere gift. I’m not giving it to you without a reason. You have offended Tom Doyle. His magic is known for polluting the core of wizards.”

“This gift will definitely help you at some point,” Hana said.

Hearing that, my eyes flickered. I didn’t even look at that guy seriously, but people around me were wary of him. Looks like he had his own reputation.

Lara couldn’t refute anymore. What her friend said was true. If Tom Doyle used his magic on Vincent Carey, then it would be troublesome to remove the pollution.

She then took a deep breath before saying, “Vincent Carey, you can accept it. But don’t forget to repay my friend.”

“Lara?” Hana called her out.

She was doing it out of her goodwill. She was not expecting anything in return.

“As I said before, I’ll give priority to her shop. She will earn more money,” I gave assurance.

Hana and Lara smiled at each other. Then I accepted the expensive gift from her. I stored it inside the storage bracelet. Then we spoke for a few more minutes before leaving the shop.

Then I looked at the Hana shop before leaving together with Manager Lara. Then we reached the parking area. I entered the car.

Shortly afterward,

She drove the flying car back towards the Silver Tower. While driving, Lara recalled something she had forgotten to tell me earlier.

“Vincent Carey, the wizard seeds Susan Park and Jason Nicholson visited the Silver Tower this morning to see you,” she said.

“To see me…,” I asked back.

To that, she nodded her head.

“They obviously wanted to create some trouble for me,” I replied. I didn’t have any good feelings about the wizard seeds.
