Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

From MC’s Perspective:

Twenty minutes later, I finished explaining. Looking at Senior Gilbert and Carolina, I said, “That’s all. Now I have to wait for their news.”

Gilbert asked, “I’ve heard rumors about this. The Wizard Heart Competition winner will receive a huge opportunity. If I’m right, you might have to prepare to travel to another country.”

I nodded. Then I thought of something and asked, “Senior, what about Elder Galvin?”

“Elder Galvin is on a mission outside. We don’t know when he’ll return,” Gilbert replied.

After that, he decided to leave as he had other important matters to attend to. Gilbert left, leaving Carolina and me alone.

I turned to Carolina and asked, “Did you find a use for the black flower?”

Hearing about the black flower, Carolina’s face lit up. “I’ve decided to make a potion out of it. But it will take some time,” she replied.

We talked for about half an hour before deciding to leave.

Exiting the room, I saw a group of people waiting outside the Sub-Taboo Hall. I glanced at them before leaving.

I was confident that the various Wizard Halls’ elders wouldn’t bother with this matter. So I started walking back to the dorm.

….

Dark League:

Old Witch Arika sat in her room, reviewing the final intel on Vincent Carey’s return. She turned on her blue screen and began reading the report.

Surprisingly, the report included a picture of Vincent Carey leaving his wizard hall, taken just minutes ago. Her spies had managed to bribe someone for the image, which clearly showed their target.

Immense anger surged through Old Witch Arika. She hadn’t expected one of the academies to botch their plan so badly. She knew Weapon Palace Academy was the first to withdraw their wizards, meaning they knew about the situation first but hadn’t bothered to inform them.

She didn’t know what to do next. The Magic Lord of the Yellow River Academy had managed to safely escort Vincent Carey back to the academy.

They might not get another suitable chance in the near future. Unlike the other two academies, she had a more compelling reason to eliminate Vincent Carey.

It was because of the Supreme Wizard of the Meteor Country. Even before the target won the Wizard Heart Competition, the bounty on his head was higher. The Supreme Wizard of the Meteor Country would be more aggressive from now on.

“Is there really no way?” she asked herself.

After contemplating for a moment, she decided to leave a few high-ranking wizards on the ground. Who knows, they might get another chance in the future.

But using high-level wizards like this was a waste of resources. If not for their ambition of joining forces with the Supreme Wizard of the Meteor Country, she wouldn’t have gone this far.

After casting a glance at the image, she closed the screen.

Meanwhile, the Royal Force Hall Academy was in the same situation as the Dark League. They were surprised by the Weapon Palace Academy’s silent move.

But they didn’t complain. Unlike them, the Weapon Palace Academy didn’t have government support. On the other hand, they had broken a few laws to execute this plan.

It doesn’t mean that they gave up. After confirming that Vincent Carey was returned to the academy, they gave a special mission to a few high-level wizards to kill Vincent Carey.

If their wizard students acted independently, no one would suspect them. Even the Yellow River Academy wouldn’t bother to monitor their students’ movements.

They gave the mission to high-level wizards after checking their backgrounds. As long as someone completed the task, they would receive resources from the academy. Such an offer was tempting to many people.

So the wizards agreed to complete the mission as well. They couldn’t enter the Yellow River Academy, but they would wait outside in the capital.

…

On the other hand, the situation inside the Weapon Palace Academy was a bit strange. Their Magic Lord Cain was not interested in their scheme.

It made the dean and other elders confused. If they wanted to do something against another academy, they obviously needed the support of a Magic Lord.

Since Magic Lord Cain didn’t plan on supporting them, they would have to contact another Magic Lord and ask for permission. This would take some time.

So they were not as fast as the Royal Force Hall Academy.

Meanwhile, the news also reached the ears of other major forces in the country.

While they didn’t participate in the plan, they are certainly aware of the changes in the capital. After learning that the Wizard Heart Competition winner has returned to the academy, these forces noticed the withdrawal of high-level wizards from the capital.

The Adventure Union is one of the forces paying close attention to Vincent Carey’s movements. In fact, they acquired intel even before the other three organizations. They have been monitoring Vincent Carey since his location was revealed in the Small Tribal Nation.

The Adventure Union in Sand Rock Country is merely a branch. They are gathering intelligence on all Wizard Heart Competition winners worldwide where their branches are located. They are conducting the same operations here.

Dean’s Office:

The old man took time to confirm his speculation. After examining the deceased wizard’s cells, he confirmed that the cells showed no abnormalities.

With this, he could confirm that the deceased wizard was indeed a Transmutation Wizard. Now, he collected the analysis reports and decided to inform the Magic Lords.

Not many Magic Lords were awake. Most were still in seclusion. Unlike Vincent Carey’s situation, where he consulted with only the crippled old man, this matter concerned the safety and security of their academy.

So, he would have to brief the other Magic Lords as well. He decided to visit them one by one. First, he requested permission to enter the Sub-Taboo Hall Sub-Space. Stay connected via empire

Ever since Vincent Carey appeared, the old man rarely retreated into seclusion. He waited a few moments before receiving the signal. Then, the old man dean entered the Sub-Taboo Hall Space.
