Chapter 221: Chapter 219: Get Out of the Car! Put Out the Fire!!

”What?”

Just as Matsushita Daiku was feeling anxious, the entire vehicle jerked violently. A creaking sound was heard, and suddenly the speed of the Jeep began to slow down gradually.

Matsushita Daiku quickly turned his head, only to see that the two rear windows were now covered in thick smoke, with faint glimpses of fire, and a choking smell filled the car.

”How... how is this possible??” The driver stared at the rapidly moving needle of the fuel gauge, sweating profusely. The tank that was just full was now suddenly empty.

”Deputy team leader, our fuel tank is empty!!”

Hearing this, Matsushita Daiku’s heart sank. The car speed was decreasing, and the fire was growing larger. It would soon engulf the whole Jeep.

”The fuel tank is leaking, get out quickly! Put out the fire!!”

Matsushita Daiku shouted frantically. The car immediately pulled over to the side of the road. At this moment, the raging fire had already spread across the entire vehicle. Matsushita Daiku was the first to jump out of the car, coughing violently, looking utterly disheveled.

A few Japanese police officers grabbed the fire extinguishers carried in the car and began to fight the fire. In no time, the fire on the vehicle was completely extinguished, but by now, the Jeep had been thoroughly burned to scrap, and the fuel tank was leaking, so there was no way to continue driving.

At this moment, Xiao Tian drove by in the van, and as he passed by them, he rolled down the window, full of surprise, and said, ”Oh dear, officer, what happened to your car?”

With the broken Jeep, they might even deduct his pay when they get back to the station! Thinking of this, Matsushita Daiku’s face turned sullen, and he waved his hand directly, saying, ”Enough talking, let us get in the car!”

A cold smile flashed across Xiao Tian’s face, quickly disappearing. He turned his head and said with a smile, ”You Japanese police are of such high status, how can you share a car with us Huaxia police? I’ll head out first; see you at the station!”

Saying this, Xiao Tian pressed hard on the accelerator. The van sped off, leaving the ruined Jeep and Matsushita Daiku and his group at the deep forest road junction.

”You!!!”

Seeing Xiao Tian driving away, Matsushita Daiku’s eyes widened in shock, and he shouted urgently, ”Huaxia police, come back!!! Come back!!!”

This deep forest, not a single passing vehicle. Are they supposed to walk back?

Knowing that the nearest highway is sixty li away!

Won’t that take until night to walk there?????

Matsushita Daiku shouted until his throat was hoarse, but the old van he meant to trap Xiao and Ningxue with moved farther away, showing no sign of stopping.

Matsushita Daiku watched the vehicle disappear into the distance, his face red with anger.

”Damn it, it must be those two cunning Huaxia people playing tricks!” Matsushita Daiku cursed. There was only their car behind the Jeep; who else could have blown up the fuel tank?

But being angry now was useless; finding a way to leave was the key.

”Deputy Chief, what should we do?” A subordinate policeman came forward to inquire.

”Call the station to send a vehicle.”

----

Forty minutes later, Xiao Tian and his group finally arrived at the Japan Metropolitan Police Department, located in the southern part of Tokyo.

At this moment, at the entrance of the Police Headquarters, several Japanese officers were standing at the door, seemingly preparing to welcome them.

As they arrived, the freshly invigorated Kimura Yu hurried forward with a smile, greeting the three Americans as if they were his parents.

”Ah, ah, three of you have worked hard!” Kimura Yu said ingratiatingly.

No wonder the Japanese show such respect to Americans; previously, several terrifying major cases happened in Japan. At that time, the entire Japanese police were at their wit’s end, and Japan was in a state of terror. In the end, they could only seek help from the international police bureau.

Later, the bureau sent an American police team, which killed all the criminals in just three days! Since then, these Americans have become godlike figures in the eyes of Japanese police.

Leading the group, Mo Fei nodded with satisfaction, extremely pleased with the respectful attitude of the Japanese.

Right then, the driver of the luxury sedan in which Mo Fei and others were seated got out of the car and suddenly asked, ”Where is Deputy Director Matsushita? I remember him following us all along.”

”Hmph.” At this point, Kimura Yu snorted coldly, his face full of dissatisfaction, ”That Matsushita, after following me for so many years, is still a useless person. Saying there was a problem with the car! Forget it, we won’t wait for him, let’s start the meeting directly!”

With that, Kimura Yu smiled and led the way for the three Americans. When Kimura Yu passed by Xiao Tian and Yu Ningxue, he merely nodded his head without saying a word, walking past them directly.

**

Tokyo, Japan, in the wide meeting room on the second floor of the Police Headquarters. At this moment, the huge mahogany conference table is already filled with people.

A giant LED screen hangs on the far left side of the conference room.

Kimura Yu sat at the head of the conference table, gravely introducing the target of this operation.

”After a long period of investigation, we have determined that this organization is a transnational crime network, integrating fraud, drug trafficking, and extreme marketing into one. There is evidence showing they brainwash victims, forcing them to buy their products, or else they suffer brutal torture. The situation is extremely severe and heinous.”

Kimura Yu pressed a button on the remote control in his hand, and several photos and video materials appeared on the LED screen behind him.

The materials were full of the violent actions of this criminal organization, with many people even beaten to death, which was extremely tragic.

Seeing the people victimized by this transnational organization, including teenagers and the elderly, Xiao Tian felt a surge of anger. Such inhumane actions!

Kimura Yu continued, ”This organization has bases in the United States, Huaxia, and Japan, with a very large scale. The number of people is numerous, making it very difficult to carry out arrests, but currently, we have found clues through our Police Headquarters. Oda Ichiro, please share the information your team has gathered.”

Kimura Yu glanced at Oda Ichiro, the head of the investigation taskforce seated beside him.

Oda Ichiro nodded, taking out a pile of documents from his pocket, clearly having prepared for a long time.

”After days of tracking and investigation, we can now confirm that one of the leaders of the transnational organization, Kikuta Ichirō, has recently been frequently visiting George Entertainment Club. Each time he is accompanied by armed bodyguards, making the arrest very challenging!”

”Hmph!” Mo Fei arrogantly slammed the table, ”Just a few bodyguards. Once, my comrades and I barged into a mercenary group, killed their leader, and left unscathed. What are a few bodyguards? I think we should set out right now and capture them directly!”

Lann, sitting by Mo Fei, nodded, agreeing with Mo Fei’s suggestion, proudly saying, ”Exactly, we are all from special forces. Taking on ten each is no problem!”

Upon hearing this, Xiao Tian just smiled faintly.

Retreating safely is something to boast about? Sorry, I’ve wiped out more than a dozen notorious foreign mercenary groups consecutively before!

However, Xiao Tian didn’t contradict Mo Fei’s words, silently watching him continue to show off.
