Chapter 204: Chapter 202: Biochemical Beast?

”Oh my God, how disgusting.”

Yu Ningxue and Xiao Tian took a few steps forward and saw a pool of blood on the ground ahead. Among the blood were several pieces of bones, only broken clothes and pants remaining.

A bloody smell permeated the air, overwhelming and pungent. It was hard to imagine what had happened here before.

After all, Yu Ningxue was still a woman who, though she had faced countless criminals before, had never encountered such a bloody scene. For a moment, she felt a bit dizzy.

Seeing this scene, Yu Ningxue felt incredibly incredulous. What kind of person could be so cruel?

”Is this... a psychotic killer?” Yu Ningxue took two steps back, a bit reluctant to face the gore in front of her. She mumbled.

Xiao Tian shook his head gravely and began to observe the surroundings.

At this moment, the uneasy feeling in Xiao Tian’s heart grew stronger. To turn a person into a pool of blood in an instant, even Xiao Tian couldn’t do that. If it truly was as that man had just said, then the real culprit of the murders these past days might not even be human!

Xiao Tian began to seriously survey the area, inspecting the nearby staircase and the damaged wall with great attention, afraid of missing any small detail.

”Could the culprit have burrowed into the wall?” Yu Ningxue asked, unable to help herself when she saw Xiao Tian becoming interested in the worn-out wall.

Xiao Tian ignored Yu Ningxue, carefully examining the surroundings. At that moment, a dent on the wall caught his attention.

Xiao Tian’s eyes widened, and he quickly stepped over. On the smooth wall, the dent unexpectedly took the shape of a paw, clearly a trace left by a beast’s claw. And the claw marks were enormous, evidently not the doing of a normal beast.

”Indeed...” Xiao Tian observed for a while and then said, ”I know who the culprit is.”

”Who is it?” Yu Ningxue, who had been pondering who would be so cruel, felt a bit agitated upon hearing Xiao Tian had identified the culprit.

Xiao Tian’s next words left Yu Ningxue stunned.

”It’s a beast. Look at these claw marks here. Judging from the scene, these victims were probably treated as food by a beast.”

”What?? They were eaten?” Yu Ningxue was dumbfounded, and when she saw the claw marks on the wall, her heart skipped a beat.

Who could have imagined that the real culprit behind the murders these days wasn’t human?

”Indeed, someone has been breeding beasts with super abilities. I’ve encountered them before, and based on my observation, the beast appearing this time is even fiercer than those I met previously,” Xiao Tian pondered.

Moreover, Xiao Tian believed that the beast this time was very likely the Biochemical Beast he encountered in Somalia before. If this were true, then the members of the Raindrop Organization might have already arrived in Huaxia!

Yu Ningxue stood in place, lost in thought. Although it seemed unbelievable, thinking about it carefully, the crime scenes of recent days indeed closely matched the ”beast eating people” scenario, as the remains of the victims were nothing but blood and bones in the end.

Thinking of this, Yu Ningxue couldn’t help but gasp in shock. This was no longer a beast; this was clearly a monster!

”What do we do now?” Yu Ningxue asked.

Xiao Tian dusted himself off and walked directly to the car, ”Let’s go back and have someone handle the scene. Since the other side is in the dark, we have nothing else to do. We’ll just have to increase vigilance.”

”Okay.” Yu Ningxue nodded, and the two drove away.

**

At this moment, on the rooftop of the department store, Demon Slayer watched the departing police car with a cold smile.

”Once my Biochemical Beast is fully developed in a few days, your death will be imminent!”

Behind Demon Slayer, a Biochemical Beast with glowing green eyes was growling fiercely.

------

In the afternoon, investigators indeed found unknown biological DNA on the wall. According to preliminary observations, it should belong to a mutant creature.

The murder cases that persisted for two days finally showed some progress, but for everyone, this was not good news at all.

After reading the report written by Xiao Tian, Bai Tao at the city bureau immediately held a meeting. People were dispatched to guard various places in Shanghai City around the clock. At the slightest disturbance, they were to arrest immediately.

After the meeting at night, Xiao Tian went to the city center hospital to visit Zhong Kexin.

After he left that day, Zhong Kexin was transferred to a private ward. Although her breathing was stable, she showed no signs of waking up these past few days, which greatly troubled Xiao Tian.

Xiao Tian entered the ward and, as usual, began applying a set of acupoint massage techniques he learned abroad. Just as he started, he heard voices coming from the door.

”What? The Divine Doctor has arrived??”

”Don’t block me; I want to see the Divine Doctor!”

”Where is the Divine Doctor?”

Accompanied by voices, several doctors quickly entered the ward. Among them was Zhang Xiaoguang from that day, and the once quiet and spacious room suddenly filled with people.

After Xiao Tian performed surgery that day, his legend spread throughout the entire hospital, attracting countless admirers who were unwilling to miss this opportunity when they finally got the chance to meet him.

Zhang Xiaoguang approached full of admiration, ”Divine Doctor, your surgery that day was amazing!! I can’t sleep at night! Could you teach us?”

Hearing Zhang Xiaoguang’s exaggerated praise, Xiao Tian felt a chill and looked at him disdainfully, ”I’m a straight man!”

A female doctor next to him said, ”I’ve heard your surgical skills are divine. Could you guide us?”

”Yes, Divine Doctor, please teach us your skills!”

”Count me in too!!”

If they could learn something from Xiao Tian, their future would surely include promotions and raises, right?

In an instant, many doctors gathered around him. Among them, several female doctors had such large busts that they squished Xiao Tian’s face a little out of shape.

With his face being pressed against by the female doctors’ chests, Xiao Tian righteously said, ”Medical skills depend on practice and experience, and there’s nothing I can teach you!”

”That’s true, but why are you rubbing against my chest, Divine Doctor?”

”Cough... I was not rubbing against it, you leaned onto me!!”

”Nonsense, I did no such thing!!” The female nurse’s face immediately turned red.

Seeing more and more people, the ward was almost bursting at the seams. Countless people wanted autographs and to become disciples.

Xiao Tian coped as best as he could, but as more people poured in, his face was full of bitterness, ”Please, spare me.....”

Finally, spotting an opportunity, Xiao Tian quickly dashed from the crowd, fleeing in disarray.
