Gene Unlocking: I Evolve Every Day

”Hmm?” Nuazai showed a look of confusion, ”Isn’t Land God recently on Earth? Why haven’t you seen him?”

Paimon spoke frankly, ”I asked Mr. Carlo of the Galaxy Alliance to take us to Earth to visit Land God. Mr. Carlo, not being familiar with Land God, had to use some connections to get in touch with a person from Earth Huaxia who had once met Land God. That person was named Fu Qin, and they went to his place. We can be sure Land God was home, but they were told by the servant that he was not there.”

At this point, he paused for a moment, ”Later Fu Qin informed us that someone named Gu Wei had a very close relationship with Land God, and if he introduced us, perhaps we could meet Land God. Sunset and I thought about it and personally went to visit Gu Wei. He straightforwardly said he could help introduce us...”

Nuazai found it even more strange and interrupted, ”Since Gu Wei promised to help introduce, why didn’t you meet him?”

Paimon said helplessly, ”Gu Wei agreed to help us, but he said that Sunset and I are of low status and not qualified to meet Land God.”

Indeed, not everyone can meet the big figures.

Take Nuazai himself, for instance. Being the Cosmic Emperor, is he someone everyone can meet?

Not just anyone; even a star system’s lord wanting to meet him might need to line up patiently.

Hence, Nuazai didn’t find Gu Wei’s words inappropriate.

He asked, ”What does Gu Wei mean by people of high status needing to go before he will introduce?”

Paimon answered very seriously, ”Although he didn’t say it directly, I interpret his meaning to be that he hopes you will personally go to Earth to visit Land God.”

Upon hearing this, Nuazai furrowed his brow.

It’s not that he was unwilling to go for a visit.

He had already been there last time, so there’s no way he is unwilling.

But times have changed.

Last time he went to Earth, there was some minor trouble at the Northern Crown and Hercules Great Wall, but it was still within control.

This time is different. With iron-based lifeforms breaching the Northern Crown and Hercules Great Wall and causing wanton destruction, many system lords previously subdued by force are starting to stir.

If he dared to leave now and these system lords found out, there’s a 70 to 80 percent chance they would start a rebellion.

If it can’t be suppressed at that time, the Martial Hero Race’s absolute ruling position could be shaken or even overturned.

So, Nuazai knows one thing for sure: he absolutely cannot leave; otherwise, something serious might really happen.

Of course, he wouldn’t say such things to subordinates.

Thus, Nuazai didn’t respond with a yes or no, but simply said lightly, ”Alright, I understand. You go handle your business, and I’ll deal with the affairs here.”

Though Paimon was a bit puzzled by this answer, not knowing whether Nuazai would go to Earth, as a subordinate, he knows what to ask and what not to ask, so he naturally didn’t say more, just respectfully bid farewell and closed the interstellar video call.

After ending the call, Nuazai sat in his office chair, his gaze filled with a sense of helplessness.

”I truly can’t leave the Northern Crown and Hercules Great Wall, but with the iron-based lifeforms wreaking such havoc, how am I supposed to solve it?”

For the first time, Nuazai, the Cosmic Emperor, felt so lost.

After thinking for a short while, his gaze gradually became resolute, ”If it really doesn’t work out, I’ll use that forbidden weapon, see if it might be effective. If it still doesn’t work, I’ll consider whether to go to Earth.”

This is his last card.

This card, Nuazai has never told anyone.

”The ’Reinitializer’ technology is not yet mature. If not controlled well, its power could spread like ’vacuum decay,’ expanding at light speed, ultimately destroying the whole universe.”

Nuazai knew ”Reinitializer” is a truly terrifying weapon.

This was a weapon that might potentially destroy all civilizations in the universe.

Although the destruction process might take billions or even tens of billions of years, it indeed possesses this capacity.

Once ”Reinitializer” is used, it fires a brilliant wave of light towards the target area.

Then this wave absorbs all energy from the matter within the area, enhancing itself, and then spreads and expands at light speed in all directions.

Where the wave passes, even light would halt at speed zero, and all particles would cease vibrating.

Simply put, nothing would move anymore, temperature would drop to absolute zero, turning everything into deathly silence.

If we must use a physical term to describe this weapon’s effect, perhaps only the phrase ”Big Freeze” fits.

The Big Freeze is a new universe formation theory.

Traditional universe formation theories believe all matter in the universe appeared from a big bang about 13 billion years ago.

Big Freeze, however, doesn’t see it that way.

This theory suggests the universe formed through continuous cooling and crystallization into today’s appearance.

This cooling continues until the ”Great Freeze.”

What is the Great Freeze?

The Great Freeze theory, a prophecy about the fate of the universe, believes the universe will enter an endless expansion due to dark energy.

In this process, the three spatial dimensions and the time dimension are all ”frozen,” forming an eternally expanding universe.

Matter and radiation gradually thin in this boundless space, temperature keeps declining, until heat exhausts, reaching true absolute zero, forming a cold and dead universe.

The ”Reinitializer” weapon accelerates this cooling process, bringing about the Great Freeze ahead of schedule.

Because this weapon, like vacuum decay, will keep spreading, if not careful, it might really destroy the universe.

Nuazai is all too aware of this. The Martial Hero Race can only control the spread of ”Reinitializer’s” power within 200 light years.

Once the Great Freeze’s coverage exceeds 200 light years, the Martial Hero Race would be powerless to reverse it.

Logically, the Great Freeze should spread and expand at light speed. Once the Martial Hero Race uses such a weapon, they should have 200 years to try and control it.

Theoretically, yes, but in reality, it’s not so.

The ”Reinitializer” weapon is equipped with a miniature space jump device.

Once fired, it will, in a very short time, split into thousands or tens of thousands of miniature ”Reinitializer” beams, thereby its power covering an area over a hundred light years.

”These are all experimental data; in fact, ’Reinitializer’ has never been officially deployed.”

Nuazai’s brows furrowed deeper, ”If at the time of firing, the unleashed power exceeds experimental data, then my Martial Hero Race might not reverse it. The time when the entire universe is destroyed is uncertain, but the Northern Crown of Hercules Great Wall, where Hercules Star resides, would surely be the first affected.”

He was indeed hesitant about using such a scary weapon.

Use it, and if its power can’t be controlled, the entire universe will perish.

Don’t use it, who knows if the iron-based lifeforms might attack Hercules Star tomorrow?

Nuazai did have a more secure solution, but doing so, he truly feared the star system lords would make a scene, and then it might be uncontrollable.

”No, for the Martial Hero Race’s dominion, I cannot leave!”

Nuazai took a deep breath, ”Under the current situation, other than using ’Reinitializer’, I have no other way.”

Then... use the ”Reinitializer”!

With a resolute expression, Nuazai thought to himself, ”If ’Reinitializer’ can really eliminate the iron-based lifeforms, then no need to seek Land God’s aid, and even my Martial Hero Race would once again dominate the universe after long last, consolidating its absolute ruling position.”

It’s better to rely on oneself than on others.

This is Nuazai’s current thought.

He wants the world to understand one thing: even if Hercules Star cannot invite Lu Li, the universe’s only True God, to help, it can eliminate the iron-based lifeforms and thus disdain the entire universe!
