Fate-Defying Demon Emperor

Chapter 53: Chapter 53: Assault on the Qin Family

Su Han’s goal was to assassinate the queen, but she was deeply ensconced in the Royal Palace. It would be extremely difficult for him to break in and kill her. Leaving aside Wang Tianqing, the palace guards alone would be enough to trap him. Therefore, he had to lure the queen out.

Su Han was no brainless fool. His gaze shifted, landing on a different location—the estate of the Qin Family!

WHOOSH!

Su Han’s figure flickered as he headed straight for the Qin Family.

The Qin Family was the second most powerful family in the Imperial Capital. They were not only supported by the queen but also backed by Elder Qin from the Seven Stars Sect. As a result, the Qin Family estate was extremely luxurious; the main gate alone was worth tens of thousands of Spirit Stones.

When Su Han arrived, the Qin Family’s main gate was still closed.

”Slash!”

Without hesitation, Su Han pulled the Black Blade from his Bronze Ring, poured Demonic Qi into it, and unleashed a single slash.

BOOM!

Although the gate glittered with gold and splendor, its purpose was more symbolic than defensive. It was shattered by a single slash from Su Han.

”Who dares run wild at the Qin Family estate!”

The commotion instantly attracted the Qin Family’s servants. A sea of figures swarmed from all directions, each armed with blades and swords, radiating murderous intent.

”The Ninth Prince?”

When they recognized Su Han, they were taken aback. They clearly hadn’t expected the audacious intruder to be him.

”What Ninth Prince? He’s no longer a prince! I’ve already informed the Family Head and the elders. As long as we can stall him, we’ll earn great merit!” the brawny leader shouted sternly. Instantly, more than a hundred figures surrounded Su Han. They had heard that he had killed the Great Crown Prince during the imperial examination and knew they were no match for him. However, their elders were Heavenly Human Realm experts, and the Family Head was even in the Phenomenon Realm. For Su Han to attack their home by himself was simply courting death. All they had to do was delay Su Han until the Family Head and the elders arrived, and it would be a great accomplishment.

Gazing at the Qin Family servants, killing intent flared in Su Han’s eyes. ”Kill!”

Wasting no more words, he gripped the Black Blade and slashed. A ten-meter-long, pitch-black blade aura shot out from it. Like a ferocious demonic dragon, it instantly sliced into the crowd.

The strength of these Qin Family servants varied greatly, ranging from the Foundation Establishment Realm to the Divine Sea Realm. But Su Han was now at the Ninth Layer of the Divine Sea Realm and could even contend with Heavenly Human Realm experts. Dealing with these servants was, naturally, an even simpler task.

The pitch-black blade aura swept across seven or eight people, instantly bisecting them at the waist.

”Aaaah!”

A wave of agonized screams filled the air. Although the servants had been cleaved in half, they didn’t die immediately and were still wailing in terrible pain. This made the other Qin Family servants stiffen, their faces filled with terror.

”Bloodthirsty!”

Without hesitation, Su Han slashed again. The Black Blade struck a servant, instantly absorbing the crimson blood.

”Soul Devouring!”

A soul, invisible to onlookers, flew out of the servant’s body and was completely devoured by the Black Blade. Instantly, a sinister, dark-red glow emerged on the blade, a sight that would send a chill down anyone’s spine.

The Black Blade’s Bloodthirsty and Soul Devouring abilities allowed Su Han to grow stronger as he fought in large-scale battles.

Gripping the Black Blade, Su Han advanced. The pitch-black blade aura was like the Grim Reaper’s scythe, reaping a swathe of lives with every swing.

”Don’t be afraid, everyone! The Family Head and the elders are already on their way! If we just hold on a little longer, victory will be ours!” the brawny man shouted, suppressing the fear in his heart to rally the others.

At that moment, Su Han’s gaze shifted to fall upon him. The brawny man instantly stiffened, his limbs turning to ice as if the Grim Reaper himself had marked him.

”Draw Sword Slash!”

Staring at the man, Su Han unleashed the attack.

Today, I will drench the Qin Family in blood!
