Falling For My Alpha Stepsister (GL)

And there I was, standing in the middle of a crowd of noisy, running children, facing a literal children-hating bear.

”And why is it you don’t like children? Not liking children is so absurd... they are God-sent, and you were also one...” I said, throwing my hands up in the air in frustration.

”At least I wasn’t like them.. when I was a kid, this group of toddlers bit me almost everywhere on my body, and for days my body was sore...”

I stared at her, deadpan.

I am not feeling any remorse for this girl because this is the person who whipped my ass non-stop, and right now my butt is aching because of that.

Every single step I took in this fairy dress was reminding me of how hard she hit me that night, so hearing her whine about getting bitten years ago was not working on me at all.

”If I move, they will sting me...” Angel muttered, backing away half a step like a wild child was about to leap out from behind a bush and attack her.

”Angel, they are not toddlers.. and they may be toddlers around...” I re-said, pausing for a second as my eyes scanned the lawn, realizing that there are also babies who are months old and children around 2 to 3 years old toddling on the grass. I cleared my throat quickly.

”They won’t bite you, just please play with them.. they won’t be biting you... let them have fun, it’s not just about Diana’s birthday but their freedom to play, it’s almost time for curfew..”

”When I say I don’t like something, I do not like it... don’t force me to do what I don’t want. I hate it... standing here is already enough...” Angel snapped, her voice cold and stubborn as she planted her feet on the grass like a heavy brick wall.

I squeezed my eyes shut and took a deep breath through my nose.

So nothing was entering her head... nothing at all. Words were just bouncing right off her.

I glanced over my shoulder toward the juice tables. The little boy was still with Sister Mary, looking at us with wide, hopeful eyes, waiting for his bear to play with him and his friends. He kept shifting his weight from one foot to the other, pointing over at Angel every few seconds while Sister Mary held his hand.

They say when you want a child to do something and they refuse, you bribe them, like giving them candy or something they love the most.

And right now, Angel was acting like the biggest child in this entire yard.

I turned back to her, crossing my arms over my chest and stepping closer so no one else could hear me.

”Angel, what do you want in exchange for you to mingle with the children...?”

I already knew the answer because that was the only reason she was even here with me. She didn’t care about the party, she didn’t care about the birthday girl, and she definitely didn’t care about the nuns.

Angel being here, wearing a mascot because I asked her to, was a dream come true.

All because of one thing.

A small, mischievous smirk slowly spread across Angel’s lips. The mean look in her eyes flipped into something much more dangerous.

”You let me have it when and where I want, no buts or shenanigans, only Yes, Diabla...” she said, stepping into my personal space, her voice dropping into a low, smooth tone that made my heart do a stupid jump.

”Is that what you want?” I asked, keeping my face totally blank, though my cheeks were starting to warm up under my plastic tiara.

”Yes.. only that..” she nodded, not taking her eyes off mine for even a second.

What a big baby. She was so predictable it was almost crazy.

I’m just going to act like I also don’t want to, not wanting her to act tough and hold it over my head later.

I sighed out loud, rolling my eyes like she was forcing my hand into a terrible deal.

”Okay, not only tonight.. anytime you want it, I will let you have it... please play with the children..”

The moment the words left my mouth, Angel’s entire posture shifted. The dark cloud over her head vanished.

And she put on the mascot head and finally made a move..

Finally she was mingling with them but still setting boundaries, telling them to stay one foot away. She raised her big fur-covered paw and pointed at the grass in front of her, making the little kids freeze in their tracks and step back to keep their distance.

Even with her weird rules, the kids were instantly hooked.

She reached into the bag of long latex balloons on the grass and started making fun toys with the balloons. Her fingers worked fast, twisting and turning the rubber until it snapped into shape. Within minutes, the kids lined up for Angel to make whatever they desired. Swords, funny hats, small dogs, she was cranking them out one after another, all while staying completely silent inside the giant bear head.

Sister Mary walked back over to me by the drink table, holding an empty tray against her hip. She stood beside me, watching Angel bend down and hand a yellow balloon sword to a jumping toddler.

”What did you say to her that made her move?” Sister Mary asked, turning to me with a surprised smile.

My mind went totally blank. A hot wave of panic shot through my chest as I thought about what Angel had actually asked for.

”Uhh, ice cream...” that was what my mind could think of.

Sister Mary laughed at me, shaking her head at how simple the bribe was, and I also laughed too, giving a fake, breathless giggle to cover up my shaking nerves.

Sister Mary looked back toward the main building, her laughter fading. Then she saw Benny leaving the garden. She was walking fast, looking over her shoulder toward the back doors of the hall.

Sister Mary set her tray down on the table, her hands smoothing over her white habit.

”I have to go.. can you help me handle this place?” she said, her voice dropping a little lower than usual.

”Yeah sure, no problem.. just don’t take long....” I said, waving my hand dismissively.

I watched Mary follow Benny behind.. wow.. They disappeared around the side corner of the building...

”And this one is for you, my dear toygirl..”

I jumped, my heart leaping into my throat. From nowhere Angel was by my side, giving me a balloon.

I blinked, looking down at what she was thrusting into my face.

My jaw dropped. When I looked at it, it was in the shape of a dick. Long, pink, and unmistakable.

”What the fuck are you doing...?” I muttered, grabbing it instantly and shoving it behind my back to avoid stares from the nuns and the kids nearby.

The giant bear head tilted down at me, her voice muffled behind the fake fur.

”I made balloons for the ants, so this is yours...”

”You could not make something else?” I squeaked, my face burning so hot I felt like I was going to melt right out of my fairy princess outfit.

”What? You are not a kid for me to make a unicorn hat or a kitten... this is the toy you should be playing with...” she stated naturally, as if she had just handed me a simple flower.

”Put this away...” I hissed, twisting around to hide the balloon behind my skirt.

Angel groaned a bit, taking the pink balloon back from my hand. She grabbed both ends and started untwisting the balloon, the rubber making loud squeaking noises as she forced it back into a plain, straight tube.

She looked over toward the quiet side of the building where Benny and Sister Mary had vanished just a minute ago.

”So... your crush-beta and the fine-looking nun are going to play hide-and-seek..?” Angel asked, her muffled voice carrying a sharp, wicked teasing tone.

”Huh?” I tilted my head, looking at the empty way, then back at the giant bear head.

”Come on... it’s either Benny wants to have a confession session with the Sister or a different kind of session.... I saw the way they stared at each other all night long... one could say today is their first time..... what a bad, bad nun..”

Oh no...
