Falling For My Alpha Stepsister (GL)

When I thought Angel was going to her room, she stopped halfway by the staircase.

Why did she stop?

Then she turned around, walked back down, unzipped her bag, brought out a package, and handed it to me.

”What is that?” I muttered before collecting it from her.

”What you bought.”

She stated the words with a flat, clinical dryness, her crimson eyes staring straight through my lenses down to where I sat huddled on the couch.

”Huh?”

I blinked blankly, my sluggish brain fumbling to connect the dots while the internal fever kept pulsing in slow, dizzy waves through my stomach.

”Your fucking sex machine.”

I sat there quietly like a dummy. I had forgotten I bought it and didn’t even realize it was with her.

My cheeks flared into a dark, burning red that had absolutely nothing to do with my pheromones, the sheer embarrassment turning my limbs completely stiff.

She must have taken the package from my hand and put it in her bag.

I swallowed in shame as I collected it from her.

”Thank you...” I muttered.

”You should be embarrassed because of a mere sex toy? It’s not a sin to buy one,” Angel said.

Said the girl who called me a slut a few days ago just because I went on a night date.

”Also, for an Omega like you, I’d advise you not to go out in public while you’re in heat so as to avoid what happened tonight. You should just stay in bed resting.”

And she is even sounding nice...

Okay, this is weird.

The complete lack of her usual biting cruelty felt totally unnatural, a jarring shift in her personality that made my internal alarms ring out in full force.

Then she brought out another small package from her bag.

”And take this too. Omegas in heat use this mostly. It vibrates ten times better than the one you bought. That one doesn’t vibrate.”

She dropped the heavy item right next to my leg, her tone completely casual as if she were merely recommending a better brand of library supply.

I adjusted my glasses to take a proper look at the Alpha.

This is actually Angel Morningstar speaking...

”Thank you,” I muttered so low....

”Also, when you are in heat, let me know. I have countless Alphas who can help you with your needs, unlike the creepy one you chose tonight....”

”What is happening to you?” I said. I couldn’t take it anymore.

The words burst out of my mouth in a sharp, breathless gasp, my stubborn pride finally snapping under the sheer weight of her bizarre behavior.

”What do you mean?”

”Why are you acting this nice to me? You never do that... after all, I’m a ghost to you.”

That’s right. I’m a ghost.

I remember the first time I stepped into this house. I had just recently started college, and instead of moving into a dorm, my mom made me move here. She said the college was only a few minutes’ drive away from the mansion. Even if I rode a bicycle, I would get there in under 20 minutes.

When I saw Angel for the first time, she was feeding her cat by the pool. I first thought she was going to be a nice person because she looked like a caring cat owner.

She looked beautiful and innocent...

When I approached her to introduce myself as her new stepsister, she snubbed me and said,

”You are nothing but a ghost living in my mother’s house... and don’t think that I will ever accept you as my sister. You are just a nobody.”

That was the moment I knew I would never be accepted into the Morningstar family.

It made me realize that evil girl’s had the prettiest face...

When I looked at Angel, she wore that annoying smirk as always.

The corner of her lips twisted upward into that smug, superior line, the brief moment of nice behavior vanishing instantly behind her usual mask.

”You are still a ghost in this house. Right now, you are nothing but furniture, just like the couch you are sitting on. But I have to be nice to you so I can get my revenge by making you crave me. Even right now I have the chance to do that, but I need you to be in your right mind so you don’t say it was because you happened to be in heat... I still have more tasks to do, and after that I will use you as my sex toy... You will be promoted from a ghost to my personal sex doll... for life.”

What the?

My breath caught entirely in my throat, a sudden wave of frantic panic mixing with the fierce, pulsing fire that was currently raging inside my lower stomach.

”What do you mean, for life? It’s just a one-time thing... a one-night stand,” I barked like some stray dog who had been betrayed.

I forced myself to sit up straighter against the couch, my voice carrying a desperate, defensive bite as I tried to reject the permanent trap she was laying out.

”So you have already accepted your defeat.”

Her smirk grew even wider, her crimson eyes locking onto the frantic, uneven rise and fall of my chest beneath my cloths...

”Obviously not. I’m the one who is going to win. You will be the one who confesses to me. You will admit that whatever it is you’re doing is changing your heart.”

I threw the defiance back in her face, my glasses slipping slightly as I leaned forward to meet her arrogant gaze with all the stubbornness I had left.

”Tsk, tsk, tsk...”

She let out a soft, mocking sound through her teeth, her tall frame suddenly shifting its weight as she took a slow step closer.

Angel leaned toward me right there on the couch, her face close to mine.

God, I wanted to run straight to my room because my body was betraying me.

Because at the same time my body wanted to hug her.....

Her scent was intoxicating me. All I could do was breathe in her pheromones.

I kept my eyes pinned to her lips, my dry throat clicking as I struggled to prevent myself from leaning across the tiny space to bridge the remaining gap between us.

”Let’s assume your stupid game worked... you ended up changing my heart. Do you really think I would just confess to you and make you win? Dear Four Eyes, you need to know this... Angel Morningstar never loses. I am a winner, and I have always won every single game I have played in life. By this time next week, you will be beneath me, crying and begging for forgiveness...”

The low, husky whisper vibrated right against my skin, the sheer promise of her words sending a violent, trembling shiver straight down the entire length of my spine.

It was a close call.

My body almost betrayed me, but Angel retreated as she headed toward the stairs.

”Tomorrow is Saturday. That means we are going on a movie date. Wear your best dress my dear future sex doll,” Angel said, leaving me alone to deal with my heat.

Also, tomorrow I have a reading session at the orphanage home.
