“Stronger than us, the Twelve Zodiacs? Hmph…” A figure, standing upright yet resembling a Rat, let out a rare voice of doubt.

“Lord Dang Mo, perhaps you’ve been away from Heaven Court for too long and have forgotten the might of the Twelve Zodiacs.

Each of us was nurtured by the power of the Zodiacs. Our innate potential far surpasses ordinary beings, and our combat prowess reigns supreme among our peers. Yet you say that these so-called experts of the Society of Demons and Fiends, who have appeared out of who knows nowhere, surpasses us? What nonsense.”

As he raised his voice, many present nodded in agreement.

The Twelve Zodiacs, born from the power of Zodiacs, their very foundations were extraordinary. Each was a peerless genius, comparable to the prodigies of the Dragon and Phoenix Clans.

At present, most of them had already reached the late stages of Tier-5, and their strength could only be described as terrifying.

With such a background, their scepticism was not unfounded.

Hearing Zi’s doubt, Dang Mo could only let out a quiet sigh.

If it were before, even he would have found it hard to believe: How could an ordinary demonic faction nurture such monsters? And not just one or two—but an entire legion of them?

However, what he had witnessed through the Tier-7 Celestial Spirit Mirror left no room for doubt.

Not to mention, in their recent skirmishes in the shadows, the terrifying power of the Society of Demons and Fiends had already become evident.

A doubt had been gnawing at him, but now it had solidified into certainty—these creatures must have emerged from a truly terrifying force. Only an ancient and formidable power could have nurtured such monsters in such overwhelming numbers.

“You’ll understand once you fight them…” Dang Mo replied, waving his hand.

“Let’s go… The Celestial Soldiers and Divine Generals have already paved the way. Now, it’s our turn to act.”

“Yes, Lord Dang Mo.” With a unified response, the dozens of figures in this secluded corner straightened their expressions.

They had been eager to see just how terrifying these so-called ‘monsters’ truly were, and finally, it was their turn to take the stage.

A flicker of excitement flashed through their eyes as their figures shot into the sky, streaking toward the battlefield.

…

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to all, on a planet not far from Blood Demon Planet…

Seven figures stood in silence.

Each of them was shrouded in a dense gray mist, concealing their forms and features.

Only eerie, floating masks could be seen, hovering in the fog.

They were the Shades—a rising faction under Yu Zi Yu’s command.

And now, they had arrived at Blood Demon Planet.

As for the rest of their forces—the Void Clan—they had long since hidden themselves on the far side of Blood Demon Planet, deep within the Void Space.

“Avril just sent word, it’s almost time to make our move,” a voice, overlapping of male and female voices, suddenly echoed. It was quite eerie and chilling.

“So soon?”

“Yes… And this isn’t just an ordinary invasion. It seems the Society of Demons and Fiends is struggling—many of their cities have already fallen…”

Hearing Black and White’s explanation, a figure crackling with electric currents sighed helplessly.

“It can’t be helped… This is not our home turf, after all.”

“If this were Demon—” Mid-sentence, the electric figure suddenly paused, then chuckled, “Almost let that slip… What I meant to say is, if this were our home base, we would have drowned these invaders with a legion of tens of millions.”

“That’s right…” The seven figures could not help but exchange knowing smiles.

Then, in an instant, they transformed into streaks of light, shooting toward the blood-red planet in the distance.

…

The Shades, their sole purpose was to forge through trials.

And now, with Heavenly Court officially declaring war on the Society of Demons and Fiends, this was the perfect crucible for their growth.

Though most of them were only in the early stages of Tier-5, they were the pillars of the younger generation in the Demon Court. Their combat prowess was terrifying—at the very least, far superior to the defective so-called Divine Generals.

More importantly, Yu Zi Yu had already laid the groundwork for them.

Among their ranks, he had placed the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, the Indomitable Honey Badger, and Ao Yu, who possessed the bloodline of Chaofeng.

These three were absolute monsters.

Only a true Tier-6 Overlord could suppress them.

Take Ao Yu, for instance, back then, he alone had crushed the Twelve Zodiacs of Heavenly Court, leaving them utterly humiliated.

Unfortunately, he was not a direct descendant of Heavenly Court’s lineage and had never been granted a place of importance.

Moreover, Heavenly Court had always harbored a deep bias against the Dragon Clan.

A genius like Ao Yu—reduced to a mere slave under Heavenly Court’s rule—had suffered endless humiliation.

This was why his hatred for Heavenly Court would never fade.

And the moment Yu Zi Yu removed the shackles that bound him, Ao Yu joined the Demon Court without hesitation. Furthermore, he had been waiting for this day far too long.

…

Meanwhile, on the far side of Blood Demon Planet, deep within the Void Space…

“They’ve arrived…” A whisper echoed in the dark, while Zi Lian, seated upon his throne, curled his lips into a smirk.

He could feel it, the presence of Tier-6 behemoths, and not just one.

“Heehee… Quite the grand display…” With a cold chuckle, Zi Lian suddenly reached into the Void Space and clenched his fist.

*Riiiip…* The next moment, with an audible tear, the fabric of space split apart.

The Void Gate—the prelude to the Void Army’s descent.

Since Blood Demon Planet was already considered half a domain of the Void, the speed at which the Void Gate was opened was beyond imagination.

In just a few breaths, a thousand-meter-wide rift had torn open in the sky.

“What’s that?!” A sudden cry of alarm rang out.

At the same time, two Eternal Overlords, Dang Mo and Crimson Emperor, abruptly halted in their tracks.

Then, wasting no time, Dang Mo gave the order, “You all go and suppress the Society of Demons and Fiends. We will return shortly.”

With that, both Dang Mo and Crimson Emperor turned sharply and shot toward outer space.

This left the forces of Heavenly Court bewildered, staring at each other in confusion.

“Well then, let’s move.”

“Mhmm.”

Nodding in unison, Heavenly Court’s most formidable experts, the Twelve Zodiacs, stepped forward, leading the remaining forces straight toward the Society of Demons and Fiends’ camp.
