Dragon Monarch System

”Paige, add 7 drops of blueberry juice into the potion for some flavour. Otherwise, the Potion will be too bland and slightly bitter.”

”Since this potion is for a 2-year-old child, we need to add some flavouring. Otherwise, the child might not drink the potion.”

Paige, Julia’s personal maid, nodded her head. Her eyes never left the green potion. She had to be careful, otherwise even one wrong step could turn this potion into something else and might even harm the child.

While these two were busy, Aditya silently teleported behind Julia. He did not make any sounds to disturb them, and they were too focused on making potions to notice his presence.

He leaned against the table and watched Julia with interest. He even had a small, faint smile on his face.

People say that after the initial spark, love fades. But Aditya did not feel this way. His love for her remained the same. If anything, he felt his love towards her had only grown stronger.

His wife, Julia, was an amazing woman.

Without caring about her noble status, she worked as a maid just to look after him.

Without ever complaining, every single day she spent time making pills and potions for the Istarin Empire.

Yes, the Empire did have its alchemist to meet the demand of daily and monthly potion and pill supplies. But even then, most of the work still fell on the First Lady’s shoulders. But she never complained or asked for anything in return.

Julia’s contribution to building the Istarin Empire to what it is today cannot be described in words. She was one of the founding figures of the Istarin Empire. And even now, the Empire heavily relied on her.

”Done!” Paige and Julia sighed in relief. This was the first time the client had specifically asked them to add flavours to the potion.

”Since it’s done, it’s better to deliver the Potion to them as soon as possible.” Julia was about to send one of the servants, but Paige noticed Aditya standing behind.

”It’s alright! I will go myself. I also need to do a bit of shopping and need a break to relax.” Hearing this, Julia did not stop her.

Ever since Paige started working here under Julia, she had very rarely taken breaks.

”Let’s continue with my project.” But as she turned around, she was startled to see him.

Ah...!!!

”Don’t scare me like that!” She only saw him lovingly staring at her. Seeing this, she slightly blushed before turning around to do her work.

But then she saw his hand wrap around her waist.

He hugged her from behind and then rested his chin on her head.

”What are you doing?”

”Can’t I spend time with my wife?”

Hmph!!!

”You finally remembered about me.” But she wasn’t jealous at all. She was just pretending to be dissatisfied so that he would pamper her.

Aditya understood that at this moment, ego and pride were the last things that he should bring. He should forget about thinking and responding logically and just use his emotions to respond to her needs.

”My wife, I was wrong!” He tightly held her from the side.

Seeing that she wasn’t reacting, he sneakily leaned down and gave a hard kiss to her right cheek.

Muwa!

Julia’s lips slightly moved. She tried to pretend to be angry but failed.

”You are smiling!” He caught her.

”I am not!” But she was eager to refuse.

”My wife, lying is not good.”

”Who said I was lying?” Julia held her ground.

”Just admit the truth!”

She turned around and glared at him. ”Do you wanna die?”

But Aditya ignored the threat and held her waist again and then pulled her closer to his body.

”You are cute, you know that!” He gently pinched her right cheek.

Hmph!!!

”You know, Paige saw me and purposely left to give us space for work romance.” Aditya easily lifted her and made her sit on the table facing him.

”Why don’t we make good use of this opportunity for some work romance?”

”If you do anything naughty in my laboratory, then I will kill you a hundred times.” This laboratory was open to anyone. The Istarin Empire now had hundreds of Alchemists. Almost every hour while working, she received one or two visitors. It was too risky to do anything here.

Aditya knew this, yet this guy was deliberately teasing her.

”Shameless man!”

”Yes, I am shameless.”

”What’s wrong with flirting with my own woman?” He said in a very righteous tone.

”Do you want others to see your woman in an embarrassing situation?”

Hearing this, Aditya’s male protective ego was activated.

”Absolutely not.”

”So you have your answer.”

Hearing this, Aditya just sighed.

”But I am not leaving without anything.” He grabbed her by her throat and pulled her closer for a deep kiss. As they kissed, he moved his palm to her neck to pull her even closer.

Julia closed her eyes and enjoyed the silent kiss between them.

But as his palms grabbed her breasts, she held his wrists and stopped him.

”No...!”

”Now is not the time.” This time, Aditya did not play around. He understood the situation and did not want to take any risk.

”Don’t you have any work to do?” She heard that he was working to become a 5-star runemaster.

”I was free, so I decided to visit my cute wife.” This answer satisfied her very much.

”By the way, do you recognise this herb?”

Julia took the strange-shaped leaf from his hand and closely looked at it.

”Do you know what it’s called?”

”The Nine-Leaf Spirit Orchid”

”I had read about this herb in a few books.”

”It’s said that this herb is almost as rare as the Dragon Grass. But the Dragon Grass can only be found in the Beast Continent, while this rare herb grows in some select places around the Celestial Dragon Empire.”

”How did you get it?” Julia could not help but ask. For a long time, she tried to use various channels to get this herb but failed. Even a 5-star-ranked herb, in the Main Continent, was extremely rare. This herb mostly grows in very deep, hidden caves.

”I heard that Magic Animals that are about to break through Peak 5th-order seek out this herb to increase their chances of passing the Heavenly Tribulations.” So this thing was always something that was guarded by powerful Magic Animals, making it even more difficult to obtain.

”You know, Amber was able to break into Mid 5th-order by consuming a pill that I made using the Dragon Grass and a few other rare herbs.”

”If I combine the Dragon Grass and the Nine-Leaf Spirit Orchid, I am sure I will be able to create a pill that can help her break into Peak 5th-order.”

”Not to mention, if I combine other rare herbs with the Dragon Grass and the Nine-Leaf Spirit Orchid, then adjust their ratios correctly, then I will be able to create other types of pills that are far stronger and more potent.”

”It might even be possible that I will be able to make Beginner 6th-order pills.” The more Julia said, the more excited she became. She had used almost all types of rare herbs that can be found within the Main Continent to make different kinds and types of pills and potions. These days, she diverted her attention to researching and creating new kinds of pills by adjusting ratios of the different herb extracts. But the whole process was starting to get boring for her.

But this Nine-Leaf Spirit Orchid suddenly added more fuel to her flame of creating something new. Her palms were already itching to get back to work and achieve some kind of result as soon as possible.

”How many do you have?” Julia asked in a hurried tone.

”I have 3!”

Sigh...!!!

”That’s good!” If it were just one, then she would have needed to halt the process of making new kinds of pills before Riya could grow a bunch of them.

”Alright! Leave me alone. I need to work as soon as possible.”

”You are abandoning your husband because of a rare herb.” Aditya looked pitiful.

But Julia just rolled her eyes.

She took two steps towards him and then gave him another kiss.

”Your reward. Now leave!!!”

Scene Change______

Sigh...!!!

”Here I was hoping to spend some time with her.” Aditya returned to the office.

When he returned, Watson and Spencer were already waiting for him.

”Your Majesty, thanks to Lady Riya, we have 500 pieces of mystic wood logs.”

”Finally, we can make the first Temple of Dragons.”

”Come with me.”

One of the requirements for upgrading the Dragon Palace to level 3 was building a Temple of Dragons.

He had already postponed this matter long enough.

Now it was time.
