Dragon Monarch System

“First, you all can die, and this matter will end. But the positive side of this option is that I will not harm the rest of your clan.” Before, Aditya planned to wipe out this entire clan and only leave the young and the women of the clan alive. But knowing that the rest of the clan wasn’t involved, he changed his mind. But Elder Isshin is the only one who won’t be receiving any of his mercy. The first option made them feel like an invisible hand was squeezing their hearts. “Second, I will only kill Elder Isshin and the rest of you will sign a soul contract agreeing to not reveal our identities in any shape, form, or manner.” The moment everyone heard the second option, everyone knew what to choose. The death of one Elder was way better than the better of the remaining elders. If all the Elders of the clan died today, then there is no way that the clan will be able to survive against the six remaining clans. The competition between the seven clans is very fierce. If all the Elders of their clan fell, it wouldn’t take long before the entire Blue Mystic Clan fell. The other six clans will jump on them and start devouring them like hungry wolves. “We chose the second option.” The Supreme Elder did not even hesitate. The rest also came forward and chose option two. The only one who stayed silent was Elder Isshin.

What can he say in this situation?

Either option would result in this death.

At the least, the second option would ensure that other important figures of the clan survive. Isshin understood the reason Aditya was here was for him. He must have someone learned of his involvement. “Supreme Elder, I will tell you why I am doing this.” Isshin felt Aditya’s cold gaze on him. “This man, including your former leader, worked with some evil organization whose sole purpose was to unify all seven clans and rule the entire Stardawn. It’s them who are also responsible for the deadly virus that kills over 50,000.”

“You know, the biggest mistakes this organization made….!!” Aditya began releasing his killing intent. The pressure from his killing intent started messing with the density of this island. All the Elders instantly fell to their knees from the pressure. Only Rin remained unfazed, as he did not direct any of his killing intent toward her. “The biggest mistake they made is to mess with her.” “She is my future wife.”

“I won’t forgive anyone who messes me with me.”

“This means every person related to this organization must die.” Swoosh!!!

A ball of Crimson flame engulfed Isshin. Ahhhhh…..!!!

AAHHHHHH!!!

His screams sent chills down everyone’s spines. They once again remained as to why they should never mess with the Dragon Monarch. ???

Scene Change to the Dragon Palace____

“Say ah…!!” Ah…!!

Spencer opened his mouth. When he felt a cube-shaped piece of apple in his mouth, he closed it and started chewing. But this whole time, his gaze did not leave the papers. His right hand did not work writing. The woman sitting on the chair next to him was his wife, Aria.

The couple was in his office. Since Aditya left, Spencer has become busier than before. Fortunately, he has been slowly increasing his number of assistants. Having so many assistants has greatly reduced his workload. But without Aditya, there were still many things that he could not just let his assistants do. These important matters needed his attention. As a result, these days, he has to work an extra 3 to 4 hours. But this is still way better than before. Before he had any assistants, his life used to be much more miserable. There was even a time when he did not leave his office for days. “Honey, what are you doing?” Aria asked in a gentle tone. She also put a piece of apple in her mouth. “This is the budget report for a new bridge that is going to be built 11 kilometers away from the Azure City.” “What’s so special about this bridge?” After all, if it was a small bridge or a normal one, Spencer did not need to see through it. This kind of job was reserved for his assistant. In this situation, his assistant would create a final and brief summary of everything. He would present everything to Spencer. If Spencer feels everything is right, the plan will be approved. There was also another team under Spencer whose sole job was to ensure that the right budget was being used. After all, it was very easy to miscalculate the needed budget; sometimes, a big chunk of the budget may go to the officials’ pockets through various means. “Actually, it’s a 1000-meter-long bridge that will be built between two mountains. This is to make it easier for the villagers to travel to cities.” “By the way, how is everything going around the Empire?” Aria wasn’t interested in policies. Growing up on a small island, Aria’s life has been very simple. Even little complicated stuff gives her a headache. Fortunately, her husband is a genius, and she doesn’t need to worry about anything. “Actually, even without His Majesty, everything is working fine. His Majesty has made sure that the Istarin Empire can function for a long time even without him.”

While Spencer and Aria were talking, a bird flew into the office with a letter. Spencer took the letter. The Raven then flew out of his window. This wasn’t a simple Raven. It was a magic pet that one of his men owned. [Sir, I regret to inform you that the mission wasn’t a success.] Just reading the first part, Spencer knew something had gone seriously wrong. The last time he heard, everything was going great. She had successfully managed to gain the Crown Prince’s trust. After reading the letter, Spencer closed his eyes and began to think. Seeing him like this, Aria became concerned. “What happened?” She asked in a worried tone. “Well, in short, we tried to remove the Dune Sovereignty Empire’s current Empire through his son.”

“There was already disagreement between father and son. We just used that information and added spices to cook this conflict. But it seems things did not go as planned.” “Through one of his loyal men, Charles found out about his son’s plan to dethrone him.”

“So the Crown Prince and his men were captured.”

“Fortunately, Emma found out everything a few hours before the Crown Prince went to meet the Emperor.”

“She was able to use this chance to eliminate the brain of the Dune Sovereignty, who was the Prime Minister. While the Emperor was confronting the Crown Prince, she also managed to kill the Emperor’s most loyal butler. And then she was able to escape.” “Now she is hiding somewhere in the capital.”

“She said that the whole Capital has been locked down.” “But there is nothing to be worried about. Emma is an expert assassin. She will definitely find a way out.”

Spencer looked at Aria and smiled. “Actually, what happened is also a good thing since our original plan was to create conflict within the top powers of the Empire. Now, without his son and the Prime Minister, Charles will be in deep trouble.”

“Did you plan all of this?” Aria asked. She felt that this was highly unlikely. “Actually, it was His Majesty who gave me this idea. Later, both of us had a long meeting. Once the plan was finalized, we gave Princess Soraya a few instructions.”

“If the work had worked out, then we would have gained a powerful ally.”

Seeing her confused look, he explained. “We would have supported Princess Soraya in becoming the Next Ruler.”

“Overall, this Mission can be considered a half-success. Overall, it’s not a bad outcome for us.” Spencer said with a smile. Unfortunately, Aditya wasn’t here. Otherwise, he would have created another plan by now. “Then why do you look so troubled?” Aria asked. “What bothers me is the fact in the letter, she mentioned sensing a really powerful figure in the Royal Palace. If not for him, she would have eliminated more men.”

“So I am worried about this figure.”

“From Soraya, we came to know about every Peak 5th-order cultivator in Dune Sovereignty. But in her letters, she never mentioned anything about such a powerful cultivator.” “What will you do now?” Aria asked. “Nothing much!!” “For now, we will stay alert and keep a close eye on the Dune Sovereignty.” “It won’t take Charles long to figure out that we did everything. When that happens, there are two scenarios. One, he will launch a war on us. Second, he will try to do something similar but won’t be able to since any information about the Istarin Empire’s royal family is extremely private.”

“His Majesty, don’t make that many public appearances. If he does come out, then it would be for some important reason. He also has taken many steps to keep his life extremely private.” Both Aria and Spencer looked at each other and smirked. They also learned from Aditya and did the same. In fact, since their wedding, they kept everything else a secret. Other than their close friends, no one knew where they lived. Not even the neighbors knew anything about Aria or Spencer’s real identities.

Aria lived as a normal elf. No one has seen her with Spencer other than the nobles. But there were no nobles in their neighborhood. Their neighbors were mostly merchants. No one has any clue that her husband is the Prime Minister.

Spencer is always outside. He leaves very early and returns in the evening, so the neighbors have no chance to see him. When they want to go out, Spencer just takes a few minutes to change his identity to someone else. “It has been a week since His Majesty left. I don’t know when he will return. So I will write a letter to him, explaining the whole situation.” “I have a feeling that he will be back soon!!” Aria said. “The girls look very lonely without him.”

“Unlike someone else, he is a Good King and a great Husband. Despite having so many women, none of them feels like they weren’t receiving enough attention from him.”

“And then there is you….!!” Spencer felt wronged. Especially after their wedding, he has been giving her way more time than before. Yet, she was complaining!!

[Remember, kid, the secret to sustaining a long and healthy marriage is learning how to compromise.] – These were the words that an old noble said to Spencer. “My dear wife, I am done with my work. Let’s go out and have dinner in a nice restaurant with a fine view of the sea.” Hearing this, Aria’s pouting face disappeared. Her eyes were filled with excitement. “Alright!!” “But first, I want to change my outfit.” “Not it’s alright!!”

“We will change our identities. That way, our dinner date will be more peaceful.” The real reason is that Spencer was feeling too lazy to return home and change his outfit. “Alright!! Let’s go!!” She held his arm and dragged him out of his office.
