Dragon Monarch System

Allen, followed by his five bodyguards, flew through the clouds toward the Starfall Mountain. They were very familiar with this path. They regularly took this path to come to Starfall Mountain. Many years back, when the virus tactic failed, Allen, with a heavy heart, was prepared to release another wave of the virus to see if it gave him the result that he wanted. If not, he was prepared for a 3rd or even 4th virus release.

However, unexpectedly, he came into contact with some powerful people on the Main Continent. Their relationship was more like that of a business partner. Both parties regularly exchanged information and items and even shared research information. After all, Allen had over 200+ years of worth of research work.

Allen was lucky enough that those people agreed to help him and let him take away the newly awakened Divine Dragon who was also the Goddess of Music. Rin was the biggest and most valuable treasure in Stardawn. Just revealing her existence could start worldwide wars. Every big faction would want to rescue her and use her for their benefit. But Allen and those people had other plans. They wanted her gone. Allen wanted the Goddess, especially now that she was the first one to awaken Divine Dragon Blood after so many eras. But that doesn’t mean Allen got everything for free. He had to do his fair share of work and contribute. This contribution continued as long as Rin was alive. Whenever needed, they asked for drops of her divine blood. Allen could not refuse since this was the deal that he had signed with them. Allen wasn’t even against giving some drops of her divine blood to some people on the Main Continent. One thing that Allen had understood is that they weren’t interested in Stardawn. Although he managed to learn so little about them, from what he learned, he understood that their goal wasn’t Stardawn. It was something even more ambitious, grander, and dangerous. As long as they weren’t messing with Stardawn, he did not care if those people burned the entire six continents to the ground. Besides, he was gaining a lot from this partnership.

“And after 38 months of endless hustle and failures, the moment is here.” “Kotetsu, I am going to become a Divine Dragon.” “The Stardawn will also have its own Divine Dragon,” Kotetsu said in an excited tone. He was so excited that he could not stop smiling. Even forcing himself not to smile doesn’t seem to be working. “Sir, I might be more excited than you even though it’s not me who will go through the operation.” The fact that a mere bodyguard like him was talking to Allen in that tone showed their relationship. Kotetsu was his most trusted man. “Hahaha!!!!!” Other bodyguards laughed upon hearing Kotetsu’s words. Allen also chuckled. But then his expression turned serious. “Our work isn’t done. In fact, the real work starts now.”

“We still haven’t found the person that Rin tried to communicate in the spiritual world. I am sure that person is roaming somewhere in Stardawn. I don’t want that person to leave this world alive.”

“The Soil of Stardawn will be his final resting place.” As they approached the Starfall Mountain, they began to descend from the clouds. As usual, everything on the ground looked white. As they continued descending, Allen and others slowed down as they noticed dead bodies in the snow. “Did something happen?” Allen became cautious. In fact, he did not like what he was seeing. Everything was supposed to be perfect, especially today.

He had developed hundreds of ways to make sure that no one accidentally stumbled upon this place. And even if that person does come here, he/she must remain alive. As they further descended, they saw even more bodies. Allen could not sense anything beyond a certain point since he had asked one of his men to place sensory-blocking Runes all over the Starfall Mountain and cover it with a thick layer of mist. “Sir!! This does not look good at all!!” Kotetsu murmured in a low tone. For some reason, he had a gut feeling that something very bad had happened.

They approached their base slowly and cautiously, maintaining a slow speed. Everyone was on high alert. They were expecting attacks to come from anywhere. This was the first time since the formation of their base in this place that something like this had ever happened. From the looks of it, a huge battle had taken place. There were corpses all over the place. Allen and Kotetsu exchanged a cautious look. Swoosh!!!

A sharp object came towards them at lightning speed. It was so fast that even his strongest bodyguard, Kotetsu, nearly failed to react in time. Allen saw the sharp point heading towards one of his bodyguards. The sharp metal rod was about to pierce the bodyguard’s body when a transparent golden shield with intricate designs on it formed in front of his body. Bang…!!!

The metal rod collided with the barrier and then fell to the ground after losing its momentum. Swoosh!!!

The next second, a strong gust of wind instantly cleared all the fog in the area. It revealed everything below and above. Both parties silently looked at each other. The most shocked ones were Allen and his men.

Because before them was the woman who was supposed to be dead because of all of her divine blood being forcefully extracted from her body. Yet, not only was she standing alive and healthy before them, but her Aura also had gotten at least ten times stronger. She did not look malnourished. Her appearance wasn’t messy. Everything about her had changed. Even her looks had changed. “How?” That was the word that Allen managed to squeeze out of his throat. The impact of seeing her so well and strong is stronger than the shock he would receive from getting hit by a powerful lightning blast.

“Mister Allen….!! What was his full name again?” Aditya looked at Rin. Rin rolled his eyes, seeing his antics. But she also found it very amusing. At the same time, she cannot deny the violence that was about to erupt in her heart. “Allen Morningstar!!” Unlike his cheerful tone, her voice was extremely cold and was filled with killing intent. In fact, when she said his name in a low but very cold tone, small pebbles and stones from the ground began to float around her along with the Majestic Crimson hair. “You’re the clan leader of the Thunderfang Clan,” Aditya asked.

“It’s the Stormfang clan. But whatever!!” “Yeah!! It’s not like their clan will exist after I am done with you anyway.” In the last part of his sentence, his voice even turned cold. His expression also changed from sunny and bright to cold and very dark. “How are you still alive?” “And also, who are you?” After a while, Allen finally managed to remain calm. This was the first time in over 300 years that he had felt this shake by something. “It seems seeing you have made him an idiot!!” Aditya chuckled. “I want to kill him with my own hand.” Rin made her intentions clear. She wanted to fight the man who had put her through 38 months of torment and suffering. “Sure!! I will take care of his dogs.” Saying that, Aditya’s Aura flared up. The sky started to darken over their heads. Kotetsu looked up to see Crimson lightning bolts swimming in the dark clouds. Seeing this, beads of sweat started forming on his forehead and started rolling down the sides of his cheeks. “There is no mistaking it!!” “The person that the Princess called in her Spiritual world is the Dragon Monarch,” Allen said in a calm tone. But being close to him, Kotetsu can feel just how nervous Allen currently was. Kotetsu cautiously glanced around. He was scanning the whole area with the hopes of creating a chance for their Boss to escape. Taking down the Dragon Monarch, who has teamed up with another Divine Dragon, is the most stupid and foolish idea ever. Kotetsu hadn’t forgotten that the Dragon Monarch had yet to reach the 5th-order. This means his powers weren’t restricted at all.

This was even worse than digging one’s own grave. ‘Unfortunately, I don’t see any way to create a distraction or opening for Boss to escape.’ ‘I don’t know what to do anymore!!’ This was the thought in Allen’s mind. For the first time in his life, Allen did not know what to do. The challenge that he was facing was so powerful that nothing seemed to work against them.

As far as he knew, the Dragon Monarch was undefeated. Not to mention, there was a Goddess whose Aura had become ten times stronger than before. ‘Even if I borrow stats from my five bodyguards, it still might not be enough.’ —————-
