Dragon Monarch System

“So the final showdown is about to begin…..” It was Lilith who said this sentence. Lilith looked at everyone’s faces before looking at Aditya.

The Atmosphere inside the laboratory was heavy. Everyone was sitting there in silence. ‘It looks like Aditya can’t catch a break.’ Lilith thought to herself. Aditya has been facing one challenge after another without getting any chance to catch a break or enjoy peaceful times.

Lilith was sitting on the newly placed couch in the corner of the laboratory. Julia did this since the number of visitors in her laboratory has drastically increased in the last few days.

This time, all of Aditya’s women were inside the laboratory. Sasha was silently sitting next to her mother. Just like Sasha, Lara was also silently sitting next to her.

Seeing her husband in this situation, she really wanted to help him. But unfortunately, there was very little that she could do to help him. She was neither powerful nor had any divine abilities.

Lara felt useless in this situation.

Aditya never even once asked her to do anything for him. Instead, she felt the need to help him with something in this situation.

All of her sisters were very capable and resourceful, which put a lot of pressure on her. Not being able to help her husband with anything made her feel useless.

‘Lara wishes she could be more useful to her husband.’ Lara thought while lowering her head. Alicia was helping Julia with some calculations. The goddess of wealth can do calculations super fast. She wasn’t limited to simple calculations; even complex calculations took her just a few seconds to solve.

“Your Majesty…..!!” Watson walked inside the laboratory, looking for Aditya. “What is it?” “General Amber and the troops in her command have arrived at the frontline.” Hearing this, Aditya nodded his head. Aditya made the decision to redirect Amber from marching towards the Thera Kingdom’s capital and instead assigned her to join the other generals at the front lines, specifically at Silver Meadow Grove. This strategic move was prompted by the imminent threat posed by millions of Voidfigures that required the full deployment of the Istarin Empire’s troops. 𝗳re.co𝗺

By the time Aditya’s orders reached Amber, she had already taken over 1/3rd of the entire Thera Kingdom. As she marched towards the Capital, she captured all the cities in her path.

“That’s good.” Aditya can tell that Watson was here for something else. Watson hesitated, unable to decide whether he should tell the Emperor about this. “Your Majesty, someone has been wanting to see you.” “Who is it?” “It’s Silas.” “That guy…!!!” Aditya wasn’t interested in seeing him. Now, he had other important things to do, and then he had to visit him in prison. “I am not interested. Why does he want to see me anyway?”

“He claims that he knows something that could seriously benefit the Istarin Empire. This information could be the key that would allow the Istarin Empire to win against this war.” “He refused to tell anyone what he knew. Regardless of who questioned him, he never spoke a single word. The only thing that he keeps saying is that he wants to meet the Emperor.” “Alright, bring him here.” Watson nodded and left the laboratory. “Who is Silas?” Lara curiously asked. Only Lilith knew about Silas. Others did not had any idea of who he was. “He is a criminal who attempted to purchase grain from us at a reduced price by falsely claiming that he was sent by a noble from another Kingdom with an urgent need for food to prevent starvation of their citizens. Upon investigation, we discovered that he was lying.” There was another reason why Silas was arrested, but Aditya decided not to speak of it. He is going to deal with this matter once the war ends. –

Scene Change_______

“I have long waited for this moment.” Ghost said while holding Luna in his embrace. “After this, I am going to become the King within the Six Continents while you will become my Queen. You will be known as the Goddess of Light.”

Luna, who was in his embrace, did not speak. She just smiled.

He failed to notice the hidden glint in her eyes.

Luna had different thoughts. ‘Darling, unfortunately, I won’t be satisfied with being your Queen.’ Luna had other intentions from the beginning. She worked with Ghost to achieve her dream.

Luna wanted to be even bigger than Ghost. She did not want to live in Ghost’s shadow. Rather, she wanted Ghost to live in her shadow.

‘But don’t worry, I won’t kill you since you have helped me so much. After all, you’re the only man whom I have slept with.’

‘I am going to take charge of everything while you rest.’ By rest, Luna had the intention of making Ghost her subordinate.

‘It’s suitable that an outstanding man like you should work for me.’ Luna cannot deny that she didn’t like Ghost. But at the same time, she wasn’t satisfied by his Queen. As the Goddess of Light, she has to be the center of everything. Everything has to revolve around her. She wasn’t going to follow someone.

“Darling, now that we are alone, why do you have to hide your face? I want to see your handsome face.” Luna’s hands slowly reached his face, and the hood covering his face was removed. Then she looked into his eyes while caressing his face.

Luna stood on her tiptoes and pressed her lips against his. Their kiss lasted for more than 10 seconds. Luna had her eyes closed, enjoying the moment. Ghost, however, kept his eyes open, staring at Luna’s face. He didn’t blink the entire time. His arms held Luna gently, pulling her close in an intimate embrace.

Ghost noticed every little detail of Luna’s face, from the way her eyelashes rested softly on her cheeks to the slight curve of her lips. Luna’s hands rested on Ghost’s shoulders. There is no denying that she loved this man. But to her, she loved her ambition more than anything else.

The kiss felt like it lasted forever, and in that moment, nothing else mattered to them. This kiss was like an advanced congratulatory reward for their victory against the Istarin Empire.

“I will go and take control of the battlefield. You stay here and control the Voidfigures.” Ghost just nodded his head without saying anything.

He silently watched as Luna stepped into the Teleportation Array and, a few seconds later, disappeared.

“Bitch! You think I don’t know the true intention.” Ghost’s eyes became cold as he looked at the teleportation array.

“You’re nothing but a toy that I am going to dispose of after I am done defeating the Istarin Empire.” Once he reached his goal, there was no need for Luna. Ghost planned to stand alone at the top of the mountain. He did not intend to share what he had worked so hard to build with someone like Luna. Although she hid her intentions very well, Ghost could always tell that this cunning woman was always planning something.

It is very suspicious how she suddenly fell for him. If he could not even understand why she acted this way, then he would never have been able to make it this far.

“I have come this far by betraying people.”

“The success that I have achieved today was built on the blood of many people that I sacrificed. From the age of 5, I have been stabbing people in the back. Did you really think that I wouldn’t see your intentions?” Ghost spread his arms and laughed loudly.

From the beginning, he only acted like he also fell for her just so that he could use her for his plan. Over the years, Luna might have developed a liking for Ghost, but he never loved her. He has only used her for his benefit.

“Now, there is still some time before the final showdown begins. I should use this time to see him.” Ghost stood up from his throne and then left the large underground room behind. Ghost walked through a long and dark corridor for about 5 minutes before finally reaching the end of the corridor. At the end of the corridor was a wooden door. On the light brown wooden door, there were ten straight, equally spaced red vertical lines from top to bottom. These ten straight, red, vertical lines were runes drawn in a straight line. Upon closer inspection, it was clear that these vertical lines seemed to form runes written in a straight line from top to bottom.

With all the runes, this ordinary wooden door has been strengthened to the point where even the attack of a Peak 3rd-order cultivator won’t do any damage to this door. Ghost grabbed the door knob. As he turned the knob, small blue glowing runes appeared all over it.

Click…..!!!

As the door opened, a man sat on a chair. His entire body was tied with chakra-absorbing chains, leaving him with no strength to free himself. “Hello, my friend!!” Ghost smiled at the man that he had met in the Azure City. Ghost grabbed another chair and then sat in front of him. “Sorry for not checking on you these days. I have been swamped preparing to destroy the Istarin Empire.” In response, the man hatefully glared at Ghost. —————-
