Dragon Monarch System

“The next phase of the plan has begun,” Luna muttered to herself as she gazed at the capital city of the Hephaestus Kingdom in the distance. Luna and the Sky Serpent were about 20 km away from the capital of the Hephaestus Kingdom.

The capital of Hephaestus Kingdom, Forgehall, derived its name from the Emperor of the Echo Nexus Empire, Lucca Mcneil. Before the naming, the capital used to be called Shadowstar. However, the emperor found the name unsuitable for the capital, and hence he decided to name it Forgehall.

The then king, Aidan’s father, accepted the new name as he found it fitting for the atmosphere of the capital. The name “Forgehall” has a clear reference to the kingdom’s association with blacksmithing and metalworking, which are the main sources of the kingdom’s wealth and prosperity. Despite the opportunity to change the name of the capital after he ascended to the throne, Aidan chose to retain the name “Forgehall” as it accurately reflects the essence of the kingdom.

“Hum….!!” The Goddess Luna sounded very happy today. Since she was in a good mood, she was humming a song that she heard just a few days ago. As she found herself alone, she savored the moment when she could finally let down her guard and reveal her true self. It was an exhilarating feeling to be free of the burden of pretending to be a Goddess. The weight of constantly having to project the image of being super nice, generous, and kind to everyone was finally lifted. She could now show her true personality, without the fear of judgment or criticism. The relief of not having to fake her emotions was like a breath of fresh air. And Luna embraced this feeling with open arms.

By now, about 11 cities of the Hephaestus Kingdom were under her complete control. With her powers, everything went very smoothly. Soon, the Capital of the Hephaestus Kingdom was about to become hers. Just the thought of having the entire Kingdom under the control of her palm filled her whole body with pleasure. This was what Luna desired. She has longed to take over this whole Kingdom. And now she was going to finally fulfill her dream. She was going to become the ultimate Queen. Her position as the Goddess would be solidified. No one would be able to challenge her authority. Luna gained a very rare Mythical Class that had never been seen before. At least, when she tried to gain more information about this Mythical Class, she did not find anything about it. She asked a few unknowledgeable people about her Mythical Class, but no one knew anything about it. Over the years, her belief that she only possessed this Mystical class continued to solidify. The Rare Mythical Class that only she possessed was called ‘False Messiah’. When Luna first got this class, she was scared but knowing the skills that this class provided her, she soon overcame her fear and even embraced her class. Classes are often seen as a mirror of an individual’s personality and abilities. It is believed that they reveal one’s innermost desires and traits. In Luna’s case, this particular class served as a reflection of her true passion and yearning.

She had no other desires. She did not care about her relationships. She did not care about sex, lust, or her other emotions. She had been obsessed with one thing since her birth. Luna was born in a remote village called Glimmerdale, which was located at the edge of the Hephaestus Kingdom. Her parents, Elinor and Thane, were poor weavers. Her family lived a modest life. Luna’s two siblings are a brother named Caelum and a sister named Aurora. Luna was the youngest one. Luna grew up in a poor village. It wasn’t that her parents were abusive towards her or anything. Her parents were just like any normal parents.

Luna had an obsession with control from a very young age. She enjoyed having everything under her control, including people around her. The satisfaction she got from ordering people around made her love the feeling of being in control.

So, from a very young age, Luna’s personality was very twisted. She was the odd child in her village. When she was young, Luna caught her father having an affair with another man’s wife. She caught her father red-handed. This was the point from where Luna started her journey of becoming a False Goddess. The girl who was obsessed with the feeling of having everything under her control blackmailed her own father at an age when she didn’t even know the word ‘Blackmail.’ Soon her father was became nothing but a slave. But in front of others, they acted like a normal family. Luna secretly controlled her father. In a few years, there even came a point where Luna decided which woman her father would sleep with, what her father will eat, what he will wear, when he will shower….basically everything action in that man’s life was under the control of his daughter. From a young age, Luna was different. She had a unique ability to sway people’s opinions and beliefs with her words alone. Her parents noticed her persuasive nature but believed it to be a gift of charisma. As Luna grew, so did her abilities, blossoming far beyond mere charm into something mysterious, almost divine. Her powers became even more powerful when she received the class of False Messiah.

The village of Glimmerdale was a place without magic or cultivators. But Luna became a cultivator by luck. She was the first and only cultivator in her whole village.

One day, Luna visited the nearby town with her big brother. She brought a book about cultivation without her brothers knowing anything about it. It was her visit to this town that also helped her awaken her class. Because in her village, there was no altar where Luna would be able to know what class she possessed. Altars can be found in every city and town and even in most villages. They help cultivators determine and see their class, skills, and stats. Luna became a cultivator without her parents knowing anything about it. Luna purposely kept everything a secret from everyone around her. Since Luna was extremely good at swaying people’s opinions, during her numerous visits to the town, she convinced some cultivators to give her Mana stones to cultivate. One year later, Luna had managed to reach beginner 2nd-order. It was also during this time she began going out of her village often. One day, she found an ancient cave located on top of a mountain. The entrance of the cave was sealed with a giant boulder. But with her strength, she was able to move the boulder. Upon entering the cave, Luna found something that would forever change her life. She found a storage ring along with a woman’s skeleton. Inside the storage ring, there were notes about illusion magic. The notes contained everything that Luna needed to learn illusion magic. Soon, Luna became obsessed with illusion magic. Illusion magic was just perfect for her. This magic was tailored for her. With illusion, she could now put more people under her control. Illusion magic opened a new world to her. Her obsession grew to the point where she forgot about everything around her and completely dedicated herself to learning illusion magic. Her fascination with illusion magic grew, and so did her practice of it in secret. Luna’s prowess in magic was self-taught, fueled by an innate talent that she didn’t even fully understand. The turning point came when she encountered a wounded mythical creature. It was a sky serpent that was on the brink of death near the ruins. Luna used her newfound magical skills and was able to heal the mythical creature. She then named it Lucifer. By saving the Sky serpent’s life, she gained the serpent’s loyalty and absolute trust.

In return, the serpent granted her the power to summon auroras. At the same time, both of them formed a pact. And since then, Lucifer has been with Luna. Lucifer stayed by Luna’s side and protected her all the time. Luna trusted Lucifer more than anyone in the whole world. She knew that he always had her back and was always going to protect her and keep her safe. Glimmerdale was a peaceful town until a severe famine struck, causing distress and putting the faith of its residents to the test. Luna’s family was also affected, and they found it challenging to make ends meet. The once harmonious atmosphere in their home was replaced with stress and worry. Luna observed the suffering and misery around her.

Luna hated it. She hated the fact that nothing was under her control anymore. She hated this feeling more than anything. She hated this feeling more than seeing her own family die in this famine. Soon, she made a significant decision and left Glimmerdale. She promised to return only when she had gained more power. —————-
