Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2321 Squabble

Davis wondered if the Starlight Jade Wolf King personally came and announced such a thing to the worldʼs major powers. If so, he felt like he could consider the alliance more sincerely.

However, before he could make contact with the Starlight Jade Wolf Clan, he wanted to know what truly happened through Mival Silverwind, but the other party hadnʼt contacted him yet. It made sense because he didnʼt tell them when he was arriving at the First Haven World. Perhaps, they might try to contact him once a month or if they found some valid news about him existing here, but he wasnʼt going to expose himself at this junction.

Or so he thought but noticing the Blue Luan Immortal staring into his eyes with her crystal blue pupils that shone through her veil, his fingers shook ever so lightly.

”Supposedly, the so-called Emperor of Death has a wife who has voluptuous assets. She wears purple like him, possesses purplish-green hair, and appears to have a sexy face that seduces the will out of men.”

However, the Blue Luan Immortal took her eyes off Davis and raised her hand, stretching out towards Evelynn.

It caused Evelynn to stiffen. The hand was almost upon her body when another hand captured the Blue Luan Immortalʼs wrist, causing the Blue Luan Immortal to gaze at Davis.

”My wife is rather reserved,” Davis uttered as he unbudgingly stared at the Blue Luan Immortal.

However, the Blue Luan Immortal directly ignored him and gazed at Evelynn, looking at the wisps of dark energy oozing out of her body.

”Darkness Laws…? A spirit fey? I suppose youʼre not the Emperor of Deathʼs first wife.”

”Of course not. Iʼm Feng Chu, and this is my wife, Daisy.”

”…”

Davis angrily replied, causing both Evelynn and the Blue Luan Immortal to turn speechless at him.

The Blue Luan Immortal hesitated before she slapped Davisʼs hand gracefully from clasping onto her wrist.

”I found it extremely suspicious two mortals dare to venture out when the situation is no longer the same in the First Haven World anymore, especially since the Vacuous Beasts are still out there. But now I understand. Your grip is firm enough to be measured at the immortal level, and you donʼt have the Earth Dragonʼs aura on your body despite using Earth Laws. Moreover, youʼre willing to offend me to protect your woman.”

”We have only each other left, so how can I not lay my life on the line?”

”Seeing that youʼre daring and not afraid of offending me, I can very well see that.”

The Blue Luan Immortal narrowed her eyes, causing Davis to raise his hands and righteously answer.

”Afraid? Iʼm very afraid. Canʼt young miss see that Iʼm keeping my trembling in check? If young miss became hostile, how can I survive? The heavens are unfair. They want to rob everything from me. They want to kill every last one of us.”

”…”

Davisʼs unwilling expression instantly caused the Blue Luan Immortal to retreat two steps back in fluster.

”Donʼt misunderstand. Iʼm not here to rob you or kill you. I just felt that youʼre strange, and now that I have confirmed that youʼre not the person I expected you to be, Iʼll be leaving. Here, as compensation, have some immortal crystals.”

The Blue Luan Immortal waved her hand, and about fifty-thousand immortal crystals fell; the concentrated energy in one area instantly burst outward as they spread.

”What are you looking at? Quick, take it before others could notice.” The Blue Luan Immortal chided, causing the stunned Davis to react.

He waved his hand and absorbed the immortal crystals, looking like he was unable to believe he had gotten some money without working for it. Seeing his expression, the Blue Luan Immortal smiled as she nodded.

”This… I canʼt take this for free.” Davis sounded embarrassed.

”Then, if you spot that Emperor of Death, send him a message that the Aurora Cloud Gate sent him an invitation. Whether he chooses to accept it or not is his headache, but my mission hasnʼt even started if he doesnʼt ascend. Iʼll be returning to my sect since this isnʼt going anywhere, wasting my time.”

The Blue Luan Immortal began to ascend. However, she stopped at a sizeable altitude and threw something at Davis.

Davis caught it and saw a greenish-purple badge with the words: [Recruitment] etched onto it.

”I canʼt return empty-handed. Youʼre powerful as I presume youʼve created a Supreme Immortal Crest compared to heavenly geniuses but compared to what the Emperor of Death is assumed to be, youʼre still lacking. But still, youʼll make a reasonable substitute that would make the Azure Cloud Gate nod in satisfaction.”

”If youʼre interested, you can come to attend the trial. As long as you activate the recruitment plate with your energy, it will lead you in the direction you should go. Now then, I bid you two farewell.”

”Ah, excuse me. Your name-”

*Whoosh!~*

The Blue Luan Immortal silently left as she came, perhaps not leaving any tracks for the City Lord to pick up.

However, Davis below appeared stupefied before he shook his head.

”What was that about, Daisy?”

Evelynn was about to retort instinctively but then harrumphed, ”Feng Chu. If you didnʼt protect me, I wouldʼve left you for real this time.”

”Ah, donʼt say that. It breaks my heart to even hear such words from you.”

Evelynn shook, but clenching her teeth, she uttered, ”You better watch it next time. Relearn that Iʼm untouchable existence for you until you become a respected immortal. According to my ancestors, my background isnʼt normal, so Iʼm not giving myself to you no matter how I love you until you become strong for me!”

”Yes!”

Davis grabbed Evelynnʼs hand and walked away; all the while, Evelynn muttered ʼshamelessʼ underneath her breath as she had her head faced the other side, seemingly unable to accept her feelings.

In the not-so-far distance, a pair of crystal blue pupils couldnʼt help but blink as they watched the pair with a complicated relationship.

ʼAre they really just Feng Chu and Daisy…?ʼ

The Blue Luan Immortal severely doubted their authenticity. Although they didnʼt exhibit the known traits, they were incredibly suspicious as both were strong enough to kill immortals.

Moreover, she had heard that the Emperor of Death and the rumored Hex Demoness would die for each other, but this relationship seemed like they were still wet behind the ears. The guy seemed to be a brute yet resilient, while the woman had a dark presence yet had a soft side to her.

She couldnʼt understand what was happening, wondering if she had truly guessed wrong.

Nonetheless, she began following them.

It didnʼt take the Blue Luan immortal much but seeing them talk about many things, like Daisy urging Feng Chu to go to the Aurora Cloud Gate while she would seek out her power, but Feng Chu declined, stating that he would only be together with her before they had a verbal fight, leading to Daisy sulking with anger while Feng Chu did everything in his ability to console her, the Blue Luan Immortal didnʼt know what to say.

”…”

Then, she saw them romancing as Feng Chu cornered Daisy to a tree, causing him to take advantage of her.

”…”

Things became hot as the man was close to the womanʼs body as his two hands moved, causing the womanʼs eyes to tremble incessantly while each soft touch of his finger traced along a sensitive path, making her quiver with pleasure.

”…”

”Feng Chu. Enough!~”

”Yes.”

Daisy finally pushed Feng Chu away, causing Feng Chu to dejectedly put his head down and leave. Daisy stretched her hand, wanting to stop him, but then took it back and placed that longing hand over her bosoms, appearing to have complicated feelings over this matter.

”…”

The Blue Luan Immortal, hidden in the shadows of the night sky, stood up and flew into the skies, silently leaving the area.

After she was covered a vast distance, she stopped and looked at the moon. Abruptly, the image of two bodies overlapping appeared in her gaze, causing her to shake her head heavily.

”Curses! What am I doing!? I have things to do back at the sect, not look at those two… two… Ugh!~”

The angry cry of a bird echoed in the skies before it disappeared from the region.
