Divine Emperor Demon Emperor

The three women strolled along, and the various items they bought nearly filled Lin Yun’s Space Ring to the brim. He had never imagined that one day, his own Space Ring would be stuffed full of all sorts of women’s things.

Cosmetics, clothes, hairpins, and more. Bai Ling, in particular, even tossed the undergarments she’d bought for herself into his Space Ring.

After shopping all afternoon, the three women were getting tired. At Bai Ling’s recommendation, the four of them arrived at a restaurant called Taotie Tower.

”This is the most famous restaurant in all of Wind City, and...” Standing at the entrance of the Taotie Tower, Bai Ling said with a smile as she introduced it to Mo Qingshui and her sister.

”And this restaurant belongs to your Bai Family, right?” Lin Yun interrupted, annoyed. The afternoon had left him feeling more exhausted than a training session in the Hundredfold Gravity Cultivation Chamber.

With that, Lin Yun walked straight into the Taotie Tower without waiting for Bai Ling. A Maid who had never seen him before saw him approach and greeted him with a smile, ”Sir, are you here for a meal?”

”Your boss is right behind me. Ask her.” He pointed directly at Bai Ling. The moment the Taotie Tower’s Shopkeeper saw Bai Ling and the other two women enter behind Lin Yun, he hurried out to greet them.

”Patriarch, I was unaware of your arrival. Please forgive me,” the Shopkeeper said respectfully to Bai Ling.

Hearing this, Bai Ling gave a slight wave of her hand and instructed the Shopkeeper to find them a private room.

With Bai Ling’s command, the Shopkeeper dared not delay, respectfully leading Lin Yun’s party toward the second floor. However, just as they reached the second-floor landing, a group of three people descended the stairs. Judging by their attire, they were Disciples from Taiqing Academy.

The one in the lead was dressed in the uniform of a Taiqing Academy Core Disciple.

The two parties met on the landing. At first sight, the Core Disciple from Taiqing Academy was captivated by the beauty of Bai Ling and her two companions. He stopped in his tracks, his eyes glinting as he stared at the three women.

Mo Qingliu was infuriated by his blatant staring. She pointed at him and snapped, ”What are you looking at? Watch it, or I’ll gouge out your damn eyes.”

Hearing Mo Qingliu’s rebuke, the Core Disciple from Taiqing Academy just gave a lecherous grin. ”Well now, what a fiery little thing,” he said shamelessly. ”I like your type.”

The three of them were great beauties. Bai Ling and Mo Qingshui were mature and enchanting, while Mo Qingliu was dainty and cute. Each had a unique charm, but all were equally beautiful.

The Core Disciple from Taiqing Academy completely blocked the landing. Ordinarily, a Core Disciple from Taiqing Academy wouldn’t dare cause trouble in Wind City; after all, it was Flawless Palace’s territory.

But this man was different. He was Wei Yunhang’s younger brother and had always been arrogant and domineering at Taiqing Academy. He wasn’t about to change his ways just because he was in Wind City.

Seeing the lecherous look on Wei Yunhang’s brother’s face, Bai Ling acted decisively. She pulled Mo Qingshui and Mo Qingliu to stand behind Lin Yun and said with a grin, ”Lin Yun, now’s your time to be the hero.”

The corner of Lin Yun’s mouth twitched when he heard her. ’These three...’ he thought. ’With their strength, Bai Ling and Mo Qingshui could kill this guy instantly. And yet, after starting this trouble, they’re just going to push it all onto me.’

Scoffing inwardly, Lin Yun wasn’t the least bit worried about the three women. He shamelessly stepped to the side, glanced at Wei Yunhang’s brother, and said nonchalantly, ”This has nothing to do with me. Go ahead.”

He hadn’t expected Lin Yun to be so unchivalrous. This was a classic chance to be a hero saving damsels in distress—and what damsels! Each of the three women was a top-tier beauty. Yet Lin Yun had just backed off without a second thought.

But Wei Yunhang’s brother clearly had no intention of letting Lin Yun go. Perhaps he wanted to use him to show off for the three stunning women.

”Hey, kid. Do you think you’re worthy of being seen with these three beautiful women?” Wei Yunhang’s brother barked at Lin Yun. ”Fine. I won’t make things too hard on you. Just get over here, kneel, and kowtow three times. Do that, and I’ll let you go today.”

He had already stepped aside, yet Wei Yunhang’s brother still wouldn’t let him be. Hearing the demand, Bai Ling and her companions smiled faintly, while Lin Yun sighed in resignation.

’What is this? Does he really take me for a pushover?’ With no further room to retreat, Lin Yun walked up to Wei Yunhang’s brother and smiled. ”Tell me, is there something wrong with your brain? I already moved away, yet you’re still trying to cause trouble for me?”

Lin Yun hadn’t planned on getting involved. It wasn’t like Bai Ling and the others were in any actual danger. But who could have predicted Wei Yunhang’s brother would be such an idiot, trying to use him to feel superior?

Hearing this, Wei Yunhang’s brother said haughtily, ”Kid, I’m not the one looking for trouble. You’re a disgrace to men everywhere! You have three women as beautiful as flowers with you, and you just back down?”

As he spoke, he turned to Bai Ling and her companions, his tone softening. ”Ladies, do you see the kind of man you’re with?”

At that, Bai Ling even feigned indignation and replied, ”I really misjudged you. I never thought you’d be so spineless.”

Playing their parts in perfect concert, they were really painting Lin Yun as a coward.

Unwilling to waste any more words, Lin Yun looked at Wei Yunhang’s brother and said, ”Fine. Since it’s come to this, what do you want?”

”Simple. Kneel, kowtow three times, and then get lost.”

Some people are just asking for a beating, and Wei Yunhang’s brother was one of them. A wicked grin spread across Lin Yun’s face. Without another word, he chose to act. His Cultivation at the Eighth Layer of the Primordial Ocean Realm erupted from him, and without preamble, he slammed a fist directly into his opponent’s stomach.

Struck so suddenly, Wei Yunhang’s brother—who was only at the Ninth Layer of the Primordial Ocean Realm—took the full force of the punch completely unprepared. He immediately collapsed to his knees.

The two men standing behind him saw this and roared in anger, attacking Lin Yun from both the left and right.

Lin Yun felt no pressure at all facing these two Direct Disciples from Taiqing Academy. However, he intentionally damaged a good deal of the Taotie Tower’s property.

Since Bai Ling and the others were messing with him, Lin Yun decided to wreck her Taotie Tower and vent some of his frustration.

He could have defeated the two easily, but Lin Yun repeatedly held back. Soon, he had made a complete mess of the Taotie Tower’s first floor, even smashing several large holes in the walls.

”That brat! Damn him, he’s doing this on purpose!” Bai Ling could clearly see that Lin Yun was deliberately wrecking her Taotie Tower when he could have ended the fight in just a few moves.

Only after he had thoroughly wrecked the Taotie Tower did Lin Yun finally move to subdue the two men. He knocked them unconscious but didn’t take their lives.

Then, Lin Yun looked at Bai Ling’s furious expression and chuckled. ”My apologies, Bai Ling, for making such a mess of your Taotie Tower. But you can’t blame me entirely. If you want compensation, you should go ask those three.”
