Death… And Me

Chapter 3495: Pay More Attention

”I said I would have my sect help, but no one said I would follow your orders,” Abi complained to Roan. ”Morty, I can’t simply believe in the abilities of a youngster like you. Give me command of this army, and I will take them to the Zoshia Enterprise Building.”

Roan glanced at her. ”Sect Master, you got one thing wrong here. I’m not the one commanding this army; I’m just an advisor. CAU03 is the leader of the CAU Units.”

CAU03 was indeed their leader, but he had given the command to Roan. Of course, he knew why Roan said that. That way, Abi wouldn’t be able to take the command away from Roan. ”I don’t know you, and I don’t know your abilities. What I know is that Morty has done a lot for my CAU Units, so I will only hear from him. If you want to help, so be it. If not, I don’t mind even if you decide to run away.”

Abi’s mouth twitched. ”Morty, then tell him to receive advice from me.”

Roan nodded. ”You heard her...”

”Hmph!” CAU03 didn’t seem to give a damn. ”I refuse. Now, will you help, or will you step aside? You come here not knowing what Morty has done so far. How about you give him a chance first, uh? Anyway, I’ve made up my mind.”

Abi obviously wasn’t very happy, but there wasn’t much she could do.

”What is happening?” Rean arrived right at that moment with his CAU Units and Saria.

Roan shook his head, not in the mood to comment about it. Instead, he used his communication device and passed the orders to the robots while using his Divine Sense to guide Celis, Rifindio, and Kentucky.

Rifindio and Kentucky were the ones commanding the right and left wings, so Roan told them that half of their robots would detach from their main force. Neither Rifindio nor Kentucky minded. Because of their presence there, they held quite a big advantage, and now the SANS Units were a lot more apprehensive.

That was part of the plan. Once Kentucky and Rifindio ascertained dominance on their sides, they would be able to hold their position with just half of their forces.

”What are you doing?” Abi saw that, looking at that strange movement.

Roan shook his head. ”You will see, but I need your help for the next part. Or, at least, I need one Space-Time Realm elder to join the central army where Celis is located.” In the end, because Celis was the only member of the twins’ group to appear much later, he was able to keep his real name for the time being.

Abi understood that CAU03 wouldn’t let her do as she wished, so she gave up and patted one of her Core Elders. ”Elder Yun, please go there and bring a few of the lower elders and disciples with you.”

Elder Yun was a Demon Beast, a Green-Spotted Jackal. He wasn’t a Divine Demon Beast, but his bloodline wasn’t all that bad. Above all, he managed to reach the Space-Time Realm, a testament to his effort even though he was a normal Demon Beast. ”Any special orders?”

”No,” Abi didn’t want that. ”Let me see what he can do with your addition.”

Yun quickly took around a hundred lower elders and disciples with him, quickly reaching Celis’s central army.

Seeing that, Celis shifted position from the middle of his army and approached the barrier. However, he also retracted his Energy Draining Domain by over half of its full size. That way, it would be more efficient while not as strenuous to keep using. Then, he talked to Yun through Divine Sense. ’Elder Yun, right? The SANS City protection barrier isn’t all that strong. It’s just that it can always recover itself. Can you make an oppening? The others can help you or the robots, up to them.’

Yun nodded and changed into his real form. Earth Element and Divine Original Energy circulated around his mouth, and then...

*Snap!*

One bite... and a huge projection of a green mouth appeared right in front of the SANS City barrier. Space and Time contorted, amplifying the power of Elder Yun’s attack. The laws of Earth seemed to gather around its teeth, hardening a projection that wasn’t even supposed to be real.

*Riiiiiiipp!*

The barrier was then torn apart, opening a huge vertical hole several kilometers wide. It felt more like Elder Yun had eaten it than anything else. Nonetheless, the opening was made.

As soon as that happened, the two halves of Kentucky and Rifindio’s armies arrived, quickly invading the city through the gap.

The SANS City’s Units were prepared, though. Since Celis’s Army was the biggest one trying to invade the city, a lot of the SANS Units were also waiting behind the barrier around that position. The only place in the city with more SANS Units was the Zoshia Enterprise Building, which held 60% of all forces in SANS City. That said, this place had around 20% of the remaining forces, while the other 10% were the forces that came out of the city during the first clash. There were another 10%, but they were positioned further away to prevent surprise attacks like the first one Roan used back then.

The SANS Unit immediately came forward to intercept the forces from Kentucky and Rifindio. At the same time, they saw how a new cultivator appeared, so the city’s security system was immediately activated. The idea was to try to cut Elder Yun out of the cultivation energies, but it proved meaningless, just like it was for the twins’ group. The city’s security system truly saw anyone wearing Rean and Zangeshu’s device as a robot like any other.

It wasn’t all that bad for the SANS Units. Since they couldn’t make the security system stop the twins’ group before, they already considered the possibility that it wouldn’t work on anyone else coming later on, and that’s exactly what happened, so the SANS Units weren’t flustered.

Above all, now that around 20% of the remaining forces of the SANS Aymies were here, their numbers were at least three times bigger than the CAU Units. Not to mention that Rifindio and Kentucky stayed back to help their wings.

Outside, looking from afar, Abi didn’t see anything special. Instead, it looked more like Roan sent those two smaller groups to die inside the city. The numbers difference was too big. ”So, what now? Are you going to watch those robots be destroyed?”

Roan coldly smiled. ”Is that how you see it? Then you better pay more attention.”

Suddenly...

’Death World Domain!’
