Daddy Always Gets Jealous

The old lady lightly coughed and glared at the old man from the Qin Family.

Always bringing up the wrong topic!

The old man from the Qin Family didn’t mention the cinema again. He lowered his head and seriously watched the two adorable little ones.

The old lady also remained silent.

The old man from the Huo Family glanced at the odd couple sitting next to him, then bowed his head to look at his great-grandchildren. Immediately, a smile spread across his face.

...

Having all taken a look, Shen Mubai turned to the nurse, ”Push them back, wait for Miss Qin to wake up to wrap them.”

The two nurses laughed as they pushed Xiaoliao and Xiaoqi back to the ward.

The old man from the Huo Family, the old man from the Qin Family, and the old lady watched eagerly.

Shen Mubai looked at them, ”Why don’t you wait in the living room? Once Huanhuan wakes up, you can rest assured and leave.”

Two hours later

Qin Huan gradually woke up and, upon seeing Huo Jinnan, smiled weakly.

Huo Jinnan raised his hand to tidy the strands of hair on her forehead.

Qin Huan gently asked, ”Where are our children?”

Only then did Huo Jinnan come back to his senses. Since entering the ward, he hadn’t properly looked at the children.

He turned to look at the nurse.

The nurse quickly brought Xiaoliao and Xiaoqi over, ”Dean Shen instructed us to bring them over for nursing. If nothing’s wrong, nurse often; the babies usually suck, and the milk will come faster and in plenty.”

Qin Huan looked at the nurse carrying both babies with difficulty, unsure which one to feed first.

The nurse laughed, ”You can feed them simultaneously. Miss Qin is weak postpartum, Mr. Huo can assist from the side, and we’ll help from here.”

Seeing one nurse placing a baby on Qin Huan, such a small person instantly suckling adorably, brought a sense of paternal pride just by watching.

Another nurse placed one in Qin Huan’s left arm, ”Mr. Huo, your turn.”

Huo Jinnan glanced at the baby; it was so tiny, he hesitated to act, nervously saying, ”You... you better do it.”

Even Qin Huan smiled watching the scene.

The nurse chuckled and stepped forward to assist, and both babies happily suckled away.

Qin Huan looked down at Xiaoliao, then Xiaoqi, and raised her head to look at their father, smiling radiantly.

Huo Jinnan watched her, raising his hand to gently stroke her cheek.

Qin Huan tilted her head slightly, nestling her cheek in his palm, and looked down at their children with a newfound sweetness in her heart.

The little fellow heard Qin Huan wake up and, upon entering the room and seeing Xiaoliao and Xiaoqi nursing, suddenly felt a bit jealous!

Especially of that bigger little brother!

After a while, Qin Huan furrowed her brow, looking at the little boy on her left.

Just as Huo Jinnan was about to speak, the nurse smiled and said, ”It hurts a bit at first, but it won’t hurt eventually.”

The little fellow stood by and glanced over, instantly disliking that brat!

He looked at his sister, who still appeared gentle and well-behaved!

After nursing them for a while, the nurse moved the two little fellows aside.

Qin Huan turned to Huo Jinnan, ”Which one is the second?”

Huo Jinnan, ”...”

He looked for help from the nurse.

The nurse laughed and replied, ”Elder sister and younger brother.”

Just as Qin Huan was about to speak, the little fellow interrupted, ”Huanhuan, let’s call the sister Xiaoqi and the brother Xiaoliao.”

Huo Jinnan, Qin Huan, and the nurse all turned to the little fellow.

The little fellow pursed his small mouth, saying nothing about his little grudge against his brother, ”I think, Xiaoqi suits girls better!”
