Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”That is someone from the Star Shattering Sect...?” While Xuan Hao was observing the small flying vessel that had come to a sudden halt following his appearance, within the flying vessel, a young-looking woman was simultaneously looking towards him with an examining expression. Trying to see through him. ”Far stronger than that Dao Domain Lord Realm sect master mentioned by those delegation members. Should be someone with real power within the Star Shattering Sect...” Only to conclude from a simple glance that the person floating before her was beyond what she could see through. Acknowledging that this person was someone with actual power within the Star Shattering Sect compared to the so-called sect master the delegation had mentioned.

”Not in the Land Creation Realm... Should be someone in the Star Creation Realm...” And after examining him a bit more closely and even utilizing an artifact to try and see through any potential concealment artifacts the other party might be using to conceal his true strength, she concluded that the other party wasn’t hiding his cultivation. Instead, the reason she couldn’t see through the other party’s cultivation realm was merely due to the side effect of his domain interfering with her divine sense. Making it hard for her to grasp his true strength.

Although this wasn’t something unnatural, it did at least help her confirm that the strength of the other party had indeed surpassed her own and should have reached the Star Creation Realm. Reassuring her that it wasn’t another situation of someone trying to scam her Myriad Treasure Hall using the guise of an ancient hidden sect.

After all, though ancient hidden sects were powerful, there was no lack of people trying to imitate them in a way to safeguard against danger or scam major powers like the Myriad Treasure Hall that were well known to seek out ancient hidden sects for trade.

Even if this kind of behavior was only really something that happened within the Southern Central Region and hadn’t spread beyond it due to the lack of powerful concealment artifacts that could be dug up capable of concealing from someone in the Land Creation Realm like herself, she couldn’t be too safe and had to check to make sure she didn’t end up getting scammed.

The artifact she had used to inspect him was also one that had been specially designed for just this purpose and to fight these scammers pretending to be ancient hidden sects. The artifact itself capable of piercing through most concealment artifacts veil of secrets with only a few extraordinary concealment artifacts capable of hiding from them.

Problem was... The few concealment artifacts capable of avoiding the Myriad Treasure Halls concealment piercing artifacts were at a level where the mere mention of their presence would stir a crowd of Star Creation Realm cultivators into rushing over.

For this reason, even if someone managed to obtain such a precious concealment artifact, they wouldn’t dare to use it. Knowing that the Myriad Treasure Hall would undoubtedly spread the information once they realized they had been scammed, causing countless Star Creation Realm cultivators to come swarming trying to hunt them down.

”Hm? What was that...?” While the elder from the Myriad Treasure Hall confirmed Xuan Hao wasn’t someone trying to scam her and the Myriad Treasure Hall behind her, Xuan Hao couldn’t help frowning visibly as he felt the concealment piercing artifact trying to breach his domain and reach him. Only to fall flat and retreat like nothing had happened a second later.

The entire thing was odd to say the least and if not for the fact that the elder from the Myriad Treasure Hall stepped out of her flying vessel and informed him about the situation, he might have really thought the other party was trying to use some sort of weird attack against him.

But even then, hearing how it was a measure to help avoid being scammed by a fake hidden ancient sect still made him sweat nervously. Realizing that he would have to try harder than ever to conceal the fact that the Star Shattering Sect wasn’t an ancient hidden sect while this elder from the Myriad Treasure Hall was here. Especially so because it wouldn’t be fitting to have the meeting take place outside the sect like the small delegation earlier.

Not just because it could be seen as rude, but also because it was a sign of weakness.

Luckily, the other party wouldn’t be staying at the Star Shattering Sect for long and would only be there for the meeting that had been arranged before leaving. So, the only time the other party would enter the Shattered Star Peaks would be during this meeting. Meaning he should be able to control the situation using the chaotic qi formation that shrouded the Shattered Star Peaks. Preventing her from seeing something she shouldn’t while also alluding to the fact that the sect on the Seventh Star Peak was only the external appearance of the sect used to train new disciple. Not the entirety of the Star Shattering Sect.

”Greetings senior, I’m Green Willow, the elder from the Myriad Treasure Hall. The delegation at your sect should have informed you about my arrival. Ah, take this as an apology for what happened earlier, I and the rest of the Myriad Treasure Hall have just been dealing with too many people trying to scam us in the past.” And while he was thinking about how to properly accommodate this elder from the Myriad Treasure Hall and prevent her from finding out too much about the Star Shattering Sect during this short visit, the person in question thought his sudden silence following what could be seen as a rather rude attempt to probe his strength had to do with the probing attempt.

Swish~

Taking the chance to introduce herself before sending over an interspatial ring as an apology.

”Hm? This-” Casually grabbing the interspatial ring that had been thrown over, Xuan Hao couldn’t help freezing for a short instant upon seeing the small mountain of top-grade spirit stones piled up inside the sect. ”No worries, I understand your caution, you can just call me Elder Xuan.” Calming down the turbulent feelings of shock inside at just how casually the other party had thrown out so many spirit stones before calmy answering with no intention of clearing up the misunderstanding.

”Understood, Elder Xuan, should we get going? I’m sure your sect will be interested in what my Myriad Treasure Hall can offer.” Nodding her head in response as she silently tried her best to see if she had seen any Elder Xuan in some of the ancient records kept within the Myriad Treasure Halls historical records, she didn’t notice Xuan Hao moving beside her-

”Sure, but let’s not waste time travelling like this.”

Rumble~

And before she had the chance to say anything, Xuan Hao took full advantage of the situation to display his terrifying comprehension of the Dao of Space. Creating a spatial fissure that directly swallowed the two of them alongside the small flying vessel before she could comprehend what was happening.

Along with the short distance between the border of the Star Shattering Sect’s territory and the Shattered Star Peaks, she didn’t even have the time to understand what had just happened to her before she already found herself at the base of the Ninth Star Peak. The sect gate followed by the path snaking its way up the Ninth Star Peak clearly visible before her.

”This... What amazing spatial control...” Only able to silently mutter this to herself as she felt a sense of profound shock at what had just happened. Understanding full well, just how terrifying the other party’s comprehension of the Dao of Space was for him to so easily drag her along with him without her even getting the chance to fight back. Only really realizing what had happened after she had already reached the other side.

Not even taking the opportunity to admire the Ninth Star Peak before her as her thoughts shifted towards whether it was a mistake to send someone like herself to be the main negotiator with an ancient hidden sect like the Star Shattering Sect.

After all, from what she had just experienced and with the fact that the one before her should just be an elder of the Star Shattering Sect. Even if a senior one, still not one at the very top of the sect. Showing just how powerful this Star Shattering Sect was.

In her eyes, there was no doubt about the Star Shattering Sect’s status. Instead, she was wondering if she should quickly inform the Myriad Treasure Hall to send over someone who was even more senior than herself to handle this kind of meeting.

But... At the same time, she also wanted to do it herself, as establishing a cooperative trade relationship with this kind of powerful ancient hidden sect would undoubtedly benefit her and might even help her secure crucial cultivation resources for her own push towards the Peak of the Land Creation Realm in the future.
