Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

After the idea appeared in its head, the rabbit demon beast couldn’t let it go and kept feeling that it would be a great idea to take this human in as its second subordinate. Especially considering how respectfully he was and how well he followed what it said. Not just that, but his strength was also at the Second Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm. Far stronger than its first subordinate, the squirrel demon beast, who was still in the Nascent Soul Realm.

Whoosh-!

Having made up its mind, the rabbit demon beast didn’t waste any time as it directly established a subordinate contract with the human before he had any time to fight back-

”Huh?”

And by the time he realized what had just happened, he had already become the subordinate of the rabbit demon beast. Not having any way to leave now that an official subordinate contract had been established.

After all, a subordinate contract wasn’t much different from a blood contract that could be established between humans and demon beasts where the person establishing the contract would have control over the other party’s life and death. Only being rendered useless if the strength between the one establishing the contract and the one bound by it was too big.

Of course, given that the rabbit demon beast was stronger than the human by two minor realms, there were no such problems. Resulting in him being unable to break the subordinate contract….

Squeak!

Seeing the speechless expression on the face of the human cultivator after he realized what had happened, the rabbit demon beast thought he was so overjoyed by becoming its subordinate that he couldn’t say anything. Resulting in the rabbit demon beast happily bouncing over before landing on top of its newest subordinate’s head before giving a simple command for him to go back to the capital city of the Iron Sky Kingdom where the spirit stones given by Yi Min were located.

”Y-yes! Lord Rabbit…!” Now able to understand to some extend what the rabbit demon beast said after the subordinate contract had been formed, the human cultivator could only cry on the inside as he followed the command and made his way inside the Iron Sky Kingdom before heading in the direction of the capital city of the Iron Sky Kingdom without being stopped by the formation that had blocked him and the others in the past.

”…”

Watching all of this play out from the side, Yi Min had no idea what to say when she saw the almost crying face of the last remaining Soul Ascension Realm cultivator as he obediently carried out the rabbit demon beast’s command.

Out of everything she had thought might happen when the rabbit demon beast took action to help her, the last thing she expected was for the rabbit demon beast to take in one of the Soul Ascension Realm cultivators who had been attacking her relentlessly for the past few weeks.

Maybe he can be considered lucky. After all, that rabbit is far from ordinary and might end up surpassing the Soul Ascension Realm in the future…

Thinking this to herself as she watched the two disappearing in the direction of her capital city, Yi Min silently decided that it would be best to not offend the rabbit demon beast in the future.

…

Unaware of the fact that his pet had ended up taking a human as a subordinate, Xuan Hao continued to travel through the chaotic region that had once been the Sky Empire together with Chun Hua. During which she ended up creating a pseudo domain of her own related to the Dao of Nature. Taking her one step closer to the Domain Lord Realm.

At the same time, he also decided to take the chance to check out her status now that she had become his official disciple. Feeling curious just what race she was from and if the system could figure it out, while also wanting to know what Daos would be best suited for her to comprehend in the future. Intending to make full use of the system to point his disciple in the right direction.

Name: Fifth Disciple, Chun Hua Race: Nature Spirit, Tree Spirit Talent: 67 Dao: Dao of Nature (Pseudo Domain) Potential Dao: Dao of Wood, Dao of Life, Dao of Water Physique: Spirit Physique Realm: Ninth Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm Profession: Alchemy (Apprentice Realm) Cultivation Mantra: Heart of the Forest In the end, Xuan Hao was not the slightest bit disappointed by the results, as he not only found out that this fifth disciple of his wasn’t a human at all. Instead, she was a nature spirit mixed with a tree spirit. A full-fledged spirit, different from the Half Spirit Race that had been taken in by the Star Shattering Sect who were half human.

Thinking about the half spirit race that had now been fully incorporated into the Star Shattering Sect, Xuan Hao could not help feeling curious as to how they would react upon realizing that Chun Hua was a true member of the spirit race that they had originally descended from.

At the same time, he also began growing more curious about the identity of Chun Hua’s parents.

Given that Chun Hua was a full-fledged member of the spirit race, could it be that her parents were both members of the spirit race as well? But… If that was the case, how come the rest of the Chun Family didn’t show any signs of having the bloodline of the spirit race running through them like the members of the half spirit race? Could it be that they had found Chun Hua when she was still young and decided to take her in and raise her? Or maybe the bloodline of the spirit race was just too thin for him to sense and had only awakened in Chun Hua…

As his thoughts started to wander thinking about the possible background of his newest disciple’s parents, Xuan Hao continued to make his way through the chaotic region of the Sky Empire together with Chun Hua. Getting closer to the territory of the Star Shattering Sect and the Iron Sky Kingdom while Chun Hua’s comprehension of the Dao of Nature continued to rapidly improve under his guidance and observing the battles between different Domain Lord Realm cultivators-

Rumble-!

”Finally, out! I thought I would be trapped in that space for the rest of my life!”

However, it was when they were only a few days away from the Iron Sky Kingdom, that the space in front of them was suddenly torn apart as a person emerged on top of a spiritual boat a few meters away from them while talking to himself.

”Haaa… I really can’t use this spiritual boat properly with my current strength. Maybe it will only be possible after I become an Earth Immortal and- Ah!” As the person on top of the spiritual boat finally seemed to discover the two people floating in front of him, he momentarily froze on the spot. Not knowing what to do.

”Ehm… Hello?” Not knowing what to say either and seeing that her master hadn’t said anything yet, Chun Hua decided to try and communicate with the stranger who had suddenly popped up in front of them.

”Hm? Peak Nascent Soul Realm? And this person should be… Domain Lord Realm?” Recovering after hearing Chun Hua call out to him, the stranger narrowed both his eyes as he began to examine both of them. Only letting out a sigh of relief after discovering that the two of them were of no threat to him.

Even if he was in an injured state at the moment due to his fight not too long ago with a certain rabbit, he was still more than strong enough to deal with someone in the Nascent Soul Ream and Domain Lord Realm.

”Well, count yourselves unlucky for running into me, I can’t have you leak out information of my whereabouts.” Muttering this to himself as he decided to silence the two to prevent the rabbit demon beast from learning about his whereabouts now that he had already used his final trump card and was thus unable to continue escaping in the short term, the stranger began to gather strength to kill the two-

RUMBLE-!

”Ah!? What is-”

Unfortunately for him, before he had a chance to do anything, Xuan Hao directly activated his divine void eyes to partially collapse the space around him. Swallowing him up before he could do anything.

Given Xuan Hao’s current strength, although a true spatial collapse was still difficult to accomplish, it was no longer hard for him to create a partial spatial collapse. More than enough for dealing with someone in the First Tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm without having to do much.

”Master… This?”

”Don’t worry about it, just someone who wanted to take advantage of our perceived weaker strength to kill us. Nothing out of the ordinary in a chaotic place like this. For now, let’s continue on our way.”

”Okay…”
