Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

”-And that is what the elder who informed me about this matter told me, I think it would be a good idea for us to send over a group of elders immediately so we can stabilize the situation and prevent any of those demonic cultivators from causing damage to our new territory.”

Standing in front of Feng Chen as he finished explaining what had happed to the kingdom located next to the Azure Sky Kingdom and the people from the Sky Empire trying their best to hold back a group of powerful demonic cultivators, Elder Song watched as Feng Chen showed a similar frown to the one, he had when he had first learnt about it.

”The demonic cultivators really managed to avoid the people from the Sky Empire and entered the kingdom bordering the Azure Sky Kingdom!?”

”Yes…”

”Hah… To think the Sky Empire would not send over enough people to deal with the matter… Elder Song, you can take a group of elders and assign them to guard our border at the Azure Sky Kingdom. For now, I will go and check out the matter personally in case any of the powerful demonic cultivators manage to pass through the people from the Sky Empire!

As for the matter about disciples joining in on the matter to gain some real combat experience against the demonic cultivators, I think we should wait with that until we make sure the situation is stable and no powerful demonic cultivator ends up appearing.”

”Yes! I will get it done immediately!”

Whoosh~!

Getting Feng Chen’s approval to deal with the matter, Elder Song solemnly nodded his head before quickly leaving to gather a group of elders.

No matter what, considering that demonic cultivators had already started passing over the border and into the Azure Sky Kingdom, Elder Song understood that it would be best to deal with this matter as quickly as possible.

”I hope Feng Chen can help stabilize the situation and prevent any powerful demonic cultivators from approaching the Azure Sky Kingdom…” Muttering this to himself as he swiftly moved through the sect, Elder Song unconsciously turned to look up into the air as he saw Feng Chen standing on top of his flying sword as he soon disappeared in the direction of the Azure Sky Kingdom.

Given the speed of a Domain Lord Realm Expert like Feng Chen, it should not take long for him to reach the Azure Sky Kingdom and prevent the demonic cultivators from causing any damage!

…

At the same time Elder Song and Feng Chen had come to a decision on what to do about the demonic cultivators that were likely going to start entering the Azure Sky Kingdom now that the experts from the Sky Empire had been held up by a group of powerful demonic cultivators, a group of elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall were just about to return to the sect when they had heard about demonic cultivators showing up along the border of the Azure Sky Kingdom.

”This should be the place where- Hm? Looks like there is indeed quite a few demonic cultivators here…”

Having decided to investigate the matter, the group of elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall could not help freezing on the spot upon seeing close to a thousand demonic cultivators in the process of massacring the few unfortunate villages located next to the border of the Azure Sky Kingdom.

Even if two of the elders in the group of close to ten elders had already reached the Nascent Soul Realm, the sheer number of demonic cultivators was not something they would be able to deal with. Especially considering that a few of the demonic cultivators present gave off a very clear aura that was comparable to the two elders in the Nascent Soul Realm!

”Not just a few, there are at least a few hundred- Maybe even a thousand of them! Not to mention that some of them should have reached a realm comparable to the Nascent Soul Realm!”

”Indeed, this is not something we can deal with; we should contact the Star Shattering Sect and get them to send help!”

Understanding very well that there would be no way for them to deal with the large number of demonic cultivators, the group of elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall did not waste a second before they all turned around to leave, one of the elders even took out a communication talisman to immediately inform the Ascendant Frost Hall and have them contact the Star Shattering Sect.

”Aaaahhh-!”

However, before they had a chance to run away, one of the demonic cultivators that had just completed the first demonic transformation after devouring an entire village by himself, let out a painful yell as his entire body began deforming at a speed visible to the naked eye.

”This- Did the demonic cultivator fail his breakthrough and suffered a backlash as a result…?”

Unconsciously stopping after hearing the painful scream of the demonic cultivator as all the elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall turned to see what was happening, one of the Nascent Soul Realm Elders could not help saying this as he together with the rest looked on in disbelief as the body of the demonic cultivator morphed into that of a massive demonic creature more than 10 meters tall.

Even if these elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall did not have a clear understanding of demonic cultivators, they still understood that someone who had just managed to complete the first demonic transformation should not be able to fully transform into a demonic being.

Only the demonic cultivators that had reached the Peak of the Demonic Transformation Realm that had strength equal to the Domain Lord Realm would have the ability to fully turn into a demon!

ROOOOAR-!

Hearing the loud bestial roar from the demonic cultivator that had transformed into a more than 10 meters tall demon, the group of elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall could not help trembling in fear.

Among the group of elders, the most fearful ones were not the Core Formation Realm Elders, but instead the Nascent Soul Realm Experts!

Compared to the Core Formation Realm Experts, these two Nascent Soul Realm Experts could clearly sense that the giant demon standing no more than a few miles away from them had surpassed the Nascent Soul Realm, something they could feel from the primal fear that they had experienced through their nascent souls after being hit head on with the aura from the demonic cultivator that had morphed into a more than 10 meter tall demon.

”This is not a failed breakthrough…”

Knowing that the demonic cultivator had not failed to breakthrough and had instead taken a step beyond the Nascent Soul Realm and reached a realm equal to the Domain Lord Realm, one of the two Nascent Soul Realm Elders could not help feeling a shiver run down his spine as he quietly muttered this to himself.

”What-!? It’s not a failed breakthrough!? Doesn’t this mean…”

Hearing what the Nascent Soul Realm Elder said, one of the Core Formation Realm elders could not help exclaiming in surprise. Instantly catching the attention of the rest of the elders who remained spellbound by the massive demon more than 10 meters tall standing in the distance.

”Quiet! We have to leave this place. Now!”

Knowing that they would not be able to escape if the demonic cultivator that had just managed to breakthrough to the Third Demonic Transformation Realm spotted them, the other Nascent Soul Realm elder quickly made everyone quiet down before taking the lead in escaping from the border region.

”””…”””

Not saying anything after hearing this, the rest of the elders did not waste a single second as they began following after the elder who had begun leaving.

Given how powerful the demonic cultivator was, they would need the help of the Star Shattering Sect. After all, they had no way to deal with a demonic cultivator that had reached a realm equal to the Domain Lord Realm!

At the very least, the elder who had contacted the higher ups in the Ascendant Frost Hall had already informed them about everything they had seen so far.

Given the speed of a Domain Lord Realm Expert, it should not take too long before one of the Domain Lord Realm Experts from the Star Shattering Sect would show up to take care of the terrifying demonic cultivator that had managed to sneak past the experts from the Sky Empire and enter the Azure Sky Kingdom without them noticing.

ROOOOOOAR-!

However, just as the group of elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall began relaxing after having made some distance between themselves and the demonic cultivator, a terrifying roar echoed out behind them.

”I-it discovered us…”

As one of the elders from the Ascendant Frost Hall turned around, she could not help shaking in fear upon making eye contact with the more than 10 meter tall demon in the distance.
