Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Following behind the two young men as they made their way through the busy crowd of people, it did not take more than a few minutes before the Black Mist auction house appeared in the distance together with a large gathering of people who were eagerly waiting in front of the auction house. Most of these people being of the younger generation with only a few older people waiting around.

They should be waiting for the Domain Lord from the Sky Mist Kingdom to show up and begin the lecture…

Understanding at a glance why this group of young people were waiting in front of the auction house, Xuan Hao decided to find a place to wait until the Domain Lord in question showed up. After all, he did not really want to stand in front of the crowded entrance to the auction house waiting for the Domain Lord to show.

No matter how much he wanted to join in on the public lecture of this Domain Lord, there was no way he would ever act like the group of young people who had all huddled together excitedly in front of the entrance to the auction house while they were waiting to see the Domain Lord from the Sky Mist Kingdom…

”Hm? Looks like something is finally happening…”

Waiting for around ten minutes at a nearby cafe as the group of people huddling together in front of the auction house didn’t show the slightest sign of moving, Xuan Hao suddenly noticed that the group of people that had remained immovable in front of the auction house started moving.

”Everyone, look! The supreme elder is here!”

”Wah!? It’s really him…”

”Everyone, back up and make space for senior!”

Listening to the loud voices of the group of people that had gathered to wait in front of the auction house, it did not take more than a few seconds for Xuan Hao and the rest of the people waiting for the public lecture to start to realize what was happening.

Swish~

Following a path going straight through the group of people towards the centre of the square opening up, Xuan Hao narrowed both his eyes as he watched a kind looking old man making his way through the crowd of people with a confident expression on his face.

From a glance, it was obvious that this old man was the supreme elder from the Sky Mist Kingdom that everyone here had been waiting for… What’s more Xuan Hao realized that this old man was actually someone in the Fifth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm!

Although Domain Lord Realm Experts inside the Sky Empire were far more common and easier to be found, most of the Domain Lords present in the Sky Empire were between the first and third stage of the Domain Lord Realm.

Anyone above that were an expert with influence spanning the entire Sky Empire and could even be considered someone that ordinary Domain Lords would have to look up to. For the person doing the public lecture to be someone like this in the Fifth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm, Xuan Hao really didn’t expect someone this powerful to do something like this for people that weren’t a part of his own kingdom or power…

Maybe he wants to promote his auction house or something along that line?

Curiously looking towards the old man as he made his way towards the centre of the square before coming to a stop, Xuan Hao turned to look towards the Black Mist auction house that the old man had walked out of.

Indeed, if he wanted to promote his auction house, doing something like this should be a good idea. After all, it was certain that the people who joined the public lecture would spread the word of it and where it had been held. In turn, word of the auction house would quickly start circulating inside the capital.

Although this method was not as effective as putting a precious spiritual herb or powerful artifact up for auction to attract attention, it was definitely a far cheaper method to do things. Especially considering that the lecture would not last more than an hour…

”Hello everyone! I’m the current supreme elder of the Sky Mist Kingdom and the current head of the newly opened Black Mist auction house. The lecture today will be hosted by me in hopes that all of you here will help me out in return by spreading the word of my auction hall and maybe take a look around inside after the lecture ends!”

”Of course senior, it’s the least we can do!”

”Haha, supreme elder, don’t worry! I will make sure to tell everyone I know about the Black Mist auction house after today!”

”I will make sure to visit the Black Mist auction house after the lecture and buy some pills! Better to support a senior who is willing to give a lecture for us juniors than those greedy alchemist shops!”

Listening to the old man as he directly stated his attentions followed by the large gathering of people all happily agreeing to help out, Xuan Hao had no idea what to say as he could only watch the group of people who had come to listen to the lecture start praising the supreme elder of the Sky Mist Sect for a straight ten minutes.

Even worse was the fact that the elder showed no intentions of stopping the people praising him as he just happily smiled while listening to the group of people praising him.

”””…”””

Having realized that the old man showed no signs of starting the lecture after over 15 minutes of restless praising and bootlicking had been done, the group of people slowly stopped what they were doing.

At this point in time, all of them realized that the supreme elder from the Sky Mist Kingdom would not be the one to stop them from continuing and they had to do so on their own if they wanted to hear an actual lecture before the sun started going down…
