Chaos Devourer System: My Classless Ascension

Chapter 504: Chapter 502:“Wouldn’t you agree?”

There was a collective note of disbelief surging through the bodies of every noble within the throne room as they watched their emperor’s sister get slapped not once, but twice, by the same person the woman had been asking the man to punish just a few minutes ago.

And what made it all the more unbelievable to the gathered audience was Xuan’s silence as the man merely watched the events happen without making a move, but I could feel it, a subtle sense of satisfaction surging beneath the man’s stoic facade.

”Heh! Looks like he’s the type that couldn’t bring himself to force correction upon her.”

”So a doting big brother, huh? I wonder who could ever be such a person.” I didn’t miss the sarcasm in Shaia’s tone, but,

”Lucien is still a child, and I can one hundred percent say that anybody trying to get to me through the child merely wastes their time, for he himself shall come calling to his big brother to hurt the bad man, and that... is where we’re different. My doting is the right one.”

”What sort of convoluted nonsense is that? How can you be so sure?” Sana.

”I have my ways.” After all, even if we put aside the two immovable mountains that were always with the child, I still hadn’t forgotten Lucien’s mythical ability, the , so anyone with any form of ill intent, I was assured, would be exposed before realizing it.

My attention soon returned to the stunned Luo Yao as she tried to speak,

”You... you dare... too—”

PAAA!!

Another slap shut down her words as her body remained locked in space right before me.

”Multiple times I have tolerated your foolishness.”

PAAAA!!!

Another slap saw her face snap to the side.

”First you came after me and my friends because your greed wanted my brother as a martial spirit. Fine, I allowed that because of the entertainment value.”

PAAAAA!!!!

”Then you tried to instigate an issue with a foolish young master on the spirit vessel, only getting involved after realizing that you weren’t going to achieve anything different. But that, too, I let slide, willing to witness the whole thing like a bystander. But now...”

PAAAAA!!!!

Clatter!! The sound of teeth clattering with the floor reached the ears of everyone as I slapped a tooth out of her now swollen pig face, continuing my speech without pause, ”now I need to get involved if I don’t wish to see my brother hurt in more ways than one, so don’t hold it against your big brother Long, I promise you, this hurts me more than it hurts you.” My eyes narrowed in clear displeasure as I raised my arm once again, ready to continue my correcting but,

”You dare!!!!” A thunderous shout shook the whole room as Shen Wu Zhen had finally pryed himself out, his gaze locked onto me, wounded and prideful, ”you dare strike at me? You shall not live to see fully the consequences of such an action.” The man threatened before his aura erupted.

The laws within the surrounding two-kilometer radius defected towards him, as with nothing but a wave of his hand, the entire room’s gravity changed as everything became exponentially heavy.

Creak!!

The floors of the throne room creaked and threatened to fall apart as the man’s aura spewed out with wild abandon.

He didn’t care for his location. He didn’t care that his Emperor was here. He simply wanted to crush everyone under his overwhelming gravitational might, but alas...

BANG!!

The sound of something colliding with something hard shook the room as Wu Zhen was once again sent flying into a wall.

”Bitch, ain’t nobody interested in your little tantrums.” Came Paku’s voice as the furball’s arm returned to its normal length.

The nobles within the hall had already been terrified into a corner, as it was certain they hadn’t expected this.

They hadn’t come to this meeting thinking a group of ruffians were going to hijack the whole thing, but,

”Ahh... that was satisfying.” I couldn’t help letting out a long breath as I finally stayed my hands.

Luo Yao’s face had already turned into a red, misshapened figure, one even her mother couldn’t recognize.

”And you bastards claim I have an issue with women? Dare to say that after seeing this?” Paku snorted.

”At least the bastard only does so once in a while, but you? You seem to have a very specific issue with women.” Trust Malachi not to let the furball ever get one in.

”Monkey... are we going to have another problem?”

”Beats me. Wanna get your ass handed to you again?”

”Motherfuc—”

”Xuan.” I cut their fight short as I called out to Lin Xuan, who had remained silent all this while.

”Hmm.” The man answered.

”Do you mind if I have my friends take care of Luo Yao here?” I asked.

The question was out of the blue. It was suspicious. No sane man would allow such a thing, especially not when you’ve only known the person asking for nothing more than a few days. ℴℴ𝘮

”Try not to break anything, please.” But then again, no sane man would allow another person to beat up his sister because he couldn’t bring himself to do it now, would they?

”Hahahahaha... don’t worry, brother, I assure you, she’ll be fine. A bit mentally scarred here and there, but she’ll be mostly alright. At least you can be sure that she won’t be the same foolish girl you’ve been forced to deal with all this while.”

A beat of silence passed before,

”Fine.” The man agreed.

”Good,” I looked at Luo Yao. The woman was trying her best to open her eyes without wincing, ”now, I know this might be a bit too sudden for you, but I promise you it’s for your own good. Xuan over there might be a bit too reluctant to raise his hand against his sister, but I am not. So what’s going to happen now is, you’ll be spending a day or two with someone you’ve been meaning to meet all this while.” My grin turned feral as I turned to Leo, the chicken-cat having been silent all this while.

”So, what do you say? Interested in helping our friend correct his sister?”

”Hmm... it will be a chore, but I don’t mind. I have a few things I wanted to try out anyway.” The chicken-cat nodded lazily, his words not one bit assuring.

”Don’t turn his sister into a vegetable; I don’t want more work on my plate.”

”I’ll try, but I can’t make any promises.” A golden light covered both Leo and Luo Yao as the two disappeared from the throne room.

”You really think it’s a good idea to let that sadistic guy take care of your new friend’s sister?” Shaia asked, her voice unsure.

”Nope! And that’s why it’s perfect.”

”Uhhh... sure...”

I clapped my hands gently before settling my gaze on the speechless audience.

”Everyone, pardon the unsightly display you’ve been forced to witness just now,” I apologized, ”but now, the distraction has been taken away, so why don’t we have a proper discussion, you know, like adults.”

My gaze settled on the sect master that had once again pulled himself from the wall,

”Wouldn’t you agree, Sect Master Wu?”
